Highly recommend. I was having dental issues and was having so many other specialists try to tell me nothing was wrong and that I was overreacting and the ones that agreed I had a problem didn’t know how to help me. My gums were literally bright red and would bleed at the slightest poke with a dental tool but yet there’s nothing wrong? I know I’m no dentist/periodontist but even I know that signals a problem. Finally had a different dentist suggest LANAP so I did my research and found DSNW and I went in and the wonderful Dr Saweeny said I seemed like a perfect candidate. LANAP was definitely pricey but boy can I say it’s made such a huge difference. My gums are now a lovely pink color and do not bleed. Also my teeth in general just feel so much more healthy. Everyone that works at DSNW from the Dr to the assistants who do my cleanings and even the front desk lady are all so wonderful. Everyone is as nice as could be and they always remember me and they somehow remember what we talked about last time I was in even when I have forgotten. last year I literally had a cleaning scheduled on my birthday and when I mentioned to them they offered to change it but I decided to keep it and they gave me a card and a birthday gift. It costs me more to get cleanings here because they quit working with Delta Dental but they offered to let me go to somewhere else that would take my insurance and they wouldn’t be upset about it but I decided to keep coming even tho I have to pay a little out of pocket because they are just worth it in my opinion and I do believe Dr Saweeny and his magic have saved my dental health. 10/10 if you’re looking for a new dental office they are the best. I travel from Lakewood just to go here.

If I could give this office more than five stars, I would - and they haven't even done any dental work on me yet. Every single person I've spoken to has been phenomenal. Jamie listened to what I told her about my veneers (from a different dentist) breaking/falling off, and we booked an appointment to assess things and make a plan to replace them. A few days later, she called me to say she'd been thinking about my situation and believed I might benefit from a different approach, if I was willing to investigate it. Of course I said yes, and I'm so glad that I did, because it seems as though there may be a way to correct a lifelong source of discomfort for me, while also solving my current veneers problem, AND saving me from having more trouble in the future. I had no idea that was even possible until she called me. She talked me through these things on the phone *from her home, on a Sunday.* Voluntarily. Because her instincts told her that they might be able to help me in a more fundamental way than we'd planned on to begin with. I was floored, honestly. It's SO obvious that everybody in this office cares so much about their patients' health and comfort. I'm already so grateful to have have found them, and looking forward to being free of jaw pain and all of the weird tension headaches it causes! At this point the beautiful veneers to replace my current cracked and broken ones feel almost like icing on a very big, very surprising cake, but I can't wait to see those, too.

I cannot recommend Drs. Spoor and Sweeney enough! I was referred to them because of complex dental issues that needed expert treatment and also because I wanted to have my smile restored to its beautiful best. Not only were they able to accomplish both of these significant tasks that I am certain few others could have done, but I also found wonderful people that treated me like family. Every step of the way, Drs. Spoor and Sweeney, and their entire fantastic staff were always there for me. Their skill, gentleness, and not least, aesthetic artistry was matched by their genuine desire to give me the result that I wanted. And, even though I have fear of dental procedures, I always felt good going to my appointments because Drs. Spoor and Sweeney offer sedation dentistry that made it possible for me get through the process without discomfort. If it worked for me, it will work for anybody! I would be remiss if I didn't also give a huge shout out to the administrative and technical staff. Clearly, each one of them was hand-picked for their competency and like-mindedness with the doctors' philosophy of uncompromising, skilled best practices and professionalism with genuine compassion. Each patient gets the care of entire team. These guys are the absolute best! Me and my smile thank you so much Drs. Spoor and Sweeney!

I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Sweeney for several months. I loved the staff and environment. As someone who has been temping at various offices for several years, I can say that this is an outstanding office that practices the highest level of dentistry and provides some of the best dental care that I have seen. Dr. Sweeney is a very kind dentist with excellent manners. Even in stressful situations he does not rush or overlook details. Dr. Ansong is also very detail oriented and provides excellent care. And Dr. Spoor makes the most beautiful and flawless veneers and would be my absolute top pick for any cosmetic work. Great office can’t recommend enough for anyone looking for a new dental home!

I am happy to say I have been treated with first class care in this exceptional dental practice. From the moment I arrived in the Columbia Tower, I felt safe and well cared for. I have been seen for preventative dental hygiene maintenance and for restorative dental care. All three doctors are personable and experts in their specialty . Their attention to strict Covid safety is exemplary ( if only I felt so safe out in public!) The dental team is warm, friendly, and skilled, making my visit a pleasant experience from start to finish. Yesterday, Cherri, Michelle, and Dr. Ansong took wonderful care of me! I definitely will happily return for long term care.

I wanted to locate my former implant surgeon, Dr. Thomas Sweeney so I Googled his name and saw that he was located at Dental Specialties Northwest. I had not seen him in over twenty years but I knew that I wanted him to take care of my dental needs. He took great care of me back then and has done so once again. His team takes great measures in providing safety during this COVID pandemic. I noticed a sign in sheet for their staff when I was checking out the other day that had all of their names on it with their temperature listed next to their name. The facility is second to none and their staff spoils you rotten! I would highly recommend them.

I made an appointment w Dental Specialties Northwest after a filling from a previous dentist broke and put me in a lot of pain. Mind you, this was a few months after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and I was nervous about an in person medical appointment. A few days later I was able to be seen and had my filling fixed within an hour! Throughout the whole process, I was constantly being checked in on as to how well I was doing, and if I had any questions. It was wonderful how much they cared about my comfort and answering all the questions I had. I will absolutely be using Dental Specialites Northwest for all my future dental needs!

I am so happy that I chose to come here. They really listen to you and get that people have fears and have had bad experiences. I am almost to the end of my restoration of my smile and am truly thrilled with everything to date. Dr. Spoor and Dr. Sweeney are the best of the best! Dental specialties is a very welcoming and warm environment. The staff is kind an knowledgeable. Several years ago I had an emergency implant situations and they worked extremely hard to get me in around my schedule. The work was exemplary and improved my smile.. They walked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable. Several years later I now go back for my bi yearly cleanings and still they are kind, caring, willing to work around my schedule. The whole staff is amazing and I highly recommend them for a cleaning to major dental work. Dental Specialties is the place to go!!

I have spent my whole life periodically having to replace crowns due to an accident had when I was ten years old. Never before have I been so happy, comfortable and confident with my smile. Dr . Spoor is by far the most careful, gentle and attentive cosmetic dentist I have ever worked with, and his entire team is amazing. Dental Specialties Northwest was recommended to me by my general dentist, my orthodontist and my periodontist separately. It was no accident that I chose them and I am so happy I did!

10 Stars. My wife, daughter and I go to Dental Specialties Northwest because they are incredible, caring and do amazing dental work. Our daughter had her smile repaired after an injury. My wife and I get our regular cleanings and exams. My wife had pain-free gum surgery that saved her teeth. Just got my teeth clean and they are extremely Covid-safe as they have added protections far beyond the industry norms. If your health and teeth are important to you, go see them!

I've been going to this dental office to see Dr. Spoor for years and I can't imagine having to go anywhere else. Everyone there is helpful and kind. The work I've had done has been amazing. I have a really sensitive bite and the amount of care they take to get it just perfect is so above and beyond I can't even imagine another dentist being able to do a better job. Every single person I've come in contact with there has been really caring, friendly and accommodating.

Finding dentists who know what they are doing is fairly easy, but finding dentists who know what they are doing and can use technology is difficult. This office is both good and technologically savvy. They are socially distancing and yet giving some of the best dental care available. Dr. Tom Sweeney is an artist. He has done several implants a crown and gum transplants over the last 14 years. I went to another dentist for a crown, because they were close to home, what a mistake. I went back twice to get the crown adjusted because it hurt, no luck. Went to Dr. Sweeney he adjusted my bite and the crown. It is now comfortable. Thanks Dr. Sweeney. Stan Patient for Life P.S. Jana (the woman who checked me in) is a ray of sunshine in a cloudy 4 cavity kind of day. Service was very kind, quick, professional and made me feel comfortable at every step of my appointment.
