This is going to be a long review. I'm on a budget and needed dental implants and didn't feel like taking a second mortage out on my house to get it done in the States so I started to look for dentists overseas. I looked everywhere: eastern Europe, Korea, Thailand, Turkey, India, and Latin America. About half of the places I contacted NEVER responded at all. Because of the high cost of air fare I quickly narrowed in on Latin America. Also, many overseas clinics couldn't figure out that the whole object of going overseas was to save money. You'd think that would be obvious but it wasnt. MANY clinics were as much or more than the high priced clinics here in the US that I was trying to avoid. Almost went with a couple of clinics in Costa Rica but twice they came back with hidden fees at the last minute, just before I was about to book my reservations and who knows what the final cost would have been once I got there and they had me over a barrel. By chance, I happened to read a New York Post article about Dr Julio Oliver Gonzales and thought I would give him a try. One thing that impressed me from the outset was that they didn't want a dime's payment until AFTER the operation was overI . Many outfits demand at least a down payment before they will give you a reservation. I needed dental implants and a chipped tooth fixed. The chipped tooth in particular made me look like the guy from Deliverance. Had to get that fixed. So I rolled the dice and waited to see what would happen.. A driver met me at the airport on a national holiday which i greatly appeciated and gave him a generous tip for and he drove me to my hotel. In fact, the driver drove me to all of my appointments, took me for a quick grocery shopping trip, and drove me back to the airport when my trip was done. Now for the Drs. I am a HUGE gagger and I can't control it. Im REALLY hard to work on. I saw a few videos on what actually went into a tooth transplant. The more I saw, the less I wanted to know. To this day I don't know how you drill a straight vertical hole into someone's gums without lurching off to the side and messing the whole thing up, but he didn't. The procedure was completely painless - the cleaning hurt more and within a day I had no need for pain pills at all. The pain the first day was very mild and but I am coward and I didnt want to chance it. then they whitened my teeth so they looked MUCH better and filled in the chip. Amazingly they got the color of the chip to exactly match the color my newly whiten teeth. I didn't have that two-tone effect you so often see that looks like someone stuck Elmer's glue on your tooth. Honestly, it looks totally natural. It was all very affordable and the equipment was all very modern and professional. One thing in particular I appreciated was the fact that they had an orbital X ray machine. I gag like the dickens EVERY time they put those short little X ray films in my mouth and have to fight to keep from swallowing them. The staff was extremely friendly and gentle and professional. Now let me tell you what they didn't do. They didn't try to rush me back for a quick follow visit three months later so they could help their cash flow. No. They said I had to wait six months to let the bone heal completely and so the work would be PERFECT. I almost cried. And that's their attitude in a nutshell. YOU come first. Always. I have to come back in six months to have the crowns attached to the screws and am looking forward to that and to seeing Cartagena again. Unless I grow a second head in the next few months as a result of the surgery, I would have to give this clinic a solid A+++. These guys are literally world-class. DEFINITELY I would recommend them!

OMG what can I say!! Dr. Julio In Cartagena is EPIC! I had a fairly major car wreck 12yrs ago, broke my jaw, knocked all my lower teeth out, twisted my two front teeth. I’ve been stuck looking like Billy-Bob Hillbilly ever since. Corrective surgery in the US, including an essential bone graft and 4 tooth bridge in my lower front jaw, restoration work on removing the old teeth (that had been knocked out and re-implanted badly), capping my two front teeth and just repairing lots of damage would have been in excess of $44k - Dr. Julio was UNDER $10k!!! The team are amazing, Claudia, the international patient Co-ordinator just goes above and beyond constantly, prepping everything, getting your support team ready, arrange drivers (she even helped me arrange a hair transplant with a Hair Restoration clinic nearby), Fernando and Carlos, my chaperones and translators the clinic provided to pick me up, ferry me round to appointments, get prescriptions and take me back to the airport, amazing guys!! Just could not do enough to help and they even created an entire schedule of sightseeing and things to do that would suit my somewhat fragile condition. Then there’s the team in clinic doing the work, they are all epic and very talented, caring and lovely people, English was a stretch at times, but they are super patient and explain everything over and over as much as they can. My end result is absolutely stunning, I cried a bit I’ll be honest, Dr. Julio and his team gave me back my ability to have a beaming smile and I’m forever grateful. I can’t recommend Dental Tourism Colombia enough! If you’re thinking about it and hesitating because your worried about ‘going to Colombia for surgery’ honestly Dr. Julio, in fact I’d say I’m guessing all the dentists in all 4 locations, are twice the surgeon and cosmetic dentist of any of the sharks in LA.

I needed a lots of dental work done so I went to my local dentist in Anchorage, Alaska and got an evaluation. The estimate was way out of my price range. I would not be able to afford to get it done. So I went online and found Dr. Julio Oliver through Claudia dental tourism in Colombia. I took a picture of my mouth got an estimate the work requirements that Dr. Oliver said I needed match those that the dentist in Alaska said I needed done the price was a lot better so I decided to take a chance and go to Colombia. Dr. Oliver and his staff are very professional and they perform the work that they said they would do for the price they quoted me and they do not work is completed and it was an awesome experience my teeth look fantastic and highly recommend that you give them a try if you. looking for a good dental work at a reasonable price. I give them five stars! I saved a ton of money!

I can not thank Dr. Oliver and his team enough for what they have done for my son. He had a HUGE fear of dentists due to a bad dental experience as a child. I reached out to them to see what they could do for us as we were coming from the US and could not afford the proposed plan from my local dentist. Angie was so accommodating and patient answering all my questions and concerns in English. (I don't speak any spanish) My son needed multiple root canals, crowns, filings, and a cleaning. All for a fraction of the price I would have paid in the US. Since getting his teeth fixed, my son's confidence has returned now that he has a healthy mouth again. I highly recommend this dentist and have shared his information with so many friends and clients back in the US. Do not hesitate to visit them in Cartegena. It will be well worth your time and travel.

The best decision I made in 2023 was visiting Dr. Oliver in Cartagena for a much needed dental implant! He and his staff are truly the best I have visited. And, based on how others have described their implant experiences in the U.S., I can say that my experience in Cartagena was even better than theirs. I also decided to get veneers while I was there, and again, Dr. Oliver really was the best. I've received so many compliments and am so happy with the results. If I ever need more dental work done (and since dental issues run in my family), I will absolutely visit Dr. Oliver again. If you are even considering choosing Dr. Oliver to address any dental issues, don't hesitate. I really cannot say enough good things about him, his practice and his staff! They're truly the best.

I traveled from the USA to Cartagena to visit Dr. Julio due to the expense here in the states. Dr. Julio and the team took great care in explaining everything to me prior to my trip so I was not coming in blind. Claudia put everything together and set me up with transportation and appointments. She is very thorough. The team is kind and helpful with everything that you need. The way they handled everything makes you a lot less nervous to travel. The Dr. was really attentive to the work he was doing and he took very good care of me. I am really excited for my 6 month visit. I will defiantly be back to finish my work up. The country is beautiful. The people are beautiful. The staff is outstanding and I greatly appreciate everyone there.

My experience with dental tourism Colombia was a good one. I recently had a crown replacement done in Cartagena with Dr. Oliver & the quality of work was on par with any service I’ve had done in the United States. I was expecting the crown to come from the lab & be replaced on my first visit, but did have to wait a few days for the crown to be fabricated. Other than that, I would just recommend brushing up a bit on Spanish for ease of communication during your appointment. I would recommend dental tourism Colombia to anyone in North America looking for quality dental work at a fraction of the cost.

We recently traveled to Cartagena to seek Dr. Oliver’s opinion for my husband’s dental needs. We were somewhat hesitant travelers, as we had never ventured outside of the US for any type of medical care, but the cost of dental care in the US has simply become unbearable. After our experience we can say without hesitation that Dr. Oliver and his entire staff, including Carlos, our driver, are top notch professionals. The cost of dental care in Colombia is remarkably lower, and yet the quality of care is not compromised. If you are hesitating, hesitate no more!

I just want to say this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had and I’ve had numerous dental encounters. They are attentive, they respond quickly and the work is amazing. Not only is your dental experience great but from pick up at the airport to drop off you are taken care of. My favorite part is they always ask me to text them when my flight lands safely. Dr Oliver and his team did an amazing job on my teeth and gave me not only my smile back but my confidence back. P.S. I got a implanted bridge on my upper front teeth. I was missing 4-5 teeth.

The team at DTC did great and affordable work but they are terrible at communication. I was only supposed to be in Colombia for 10 days but ended up needing to stay for 17 days because they failed to schedule my appointments appropriately. Then when I returned home and had some minor complications, it was hard to get a timely response from them and the responses I received were often lacking in substance and sometimes defensive. I'm happy with the dental work I received but would not go back to them because of the communication issues.

I really enjoyed working with this dentist office. From beginning to end they have everything covered. From transportation to and from the facility to transportation to the airport on your last day. Dr allover himself is truly professional and he knows the dental industry. I had 12 veneers and 4 crowns done and the work is outstanding. He comes highly recommended from me. Gain that confidence and let them make your smile worth a million bucks..

Great experience! I was seen right at my appointment time, they did a check up and confirmed no cavities and did a through cleaning. Office was clean and sanitary practices appeared above and beyond what you would find in the US. The Dr also cleaned off some stains I’ve had since I got my braces off as a kid for no extra cost. I currently do not need anything but would certainly consider flying back for future work.

Dr Julio Oliver is very talented and really cares about his patients. He spent a lot of time with me and was extremely patient. My results were amazing! I would definitely recommend him! He is bilingual and his staff as well. His office staff are very professional and friendly. His office is beautiful, immaculate and all equipment is state of the art. I highly recommend him.

Traveled to Colombia to get dental work done because of how expensive it was in the US. Dr Julio and his team greeted me with nothing but understanding and compassion! Good experience with dental cleaning and laser whitening. I did have to wait for over 1 hour past my appointment time but they are very professional, attentive and caring. The Dental Technician spoke english and was extremely competent. I feel they did a very good job that was equivalent to anything in the United States for a much lower price.

The communication from everyone was clear, professional and super helpful. Everything was upfront. I got my wisdom teeth removed and am feeling no pain 3 days later. Hope to come back next year!

despite having medical and dental insurance I traveled from NYC to Cartagena to see the good Doctor and would do it all over and over and over again. Dr. Julio Oliver and his team are truly a gift from God. If anyone has any dental issues believe me they are The 1 to go see. No regrets whatsoever.
