Nobody likes going to the dentist. It's just something that you have to do. I had convinced myself that there is no such thing as a "good" dentist experience, until I went to Dentistry on Monroe. I went in for a regular cleaning to feel this place out. During the cleaning process, I was given wireless headphones and my choice of entertainment in the overhead TV which was the perfect distraction from the sound of the equipment during the cleaning process. The cleaning process itself was painless and hassle-free. Dr. Turner clearly knew what he was doing and his work, like his demeanor was impeccable. I walked out thinking that this was the first time I had a good, if not great experience at the dentist. After my cleaning, I went back to Dr. Turner to get his thoughts on the invisalign procedure and whether I would be a good candidate. Dr. Turner patiently answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I decided to go through with the process to fix some nagging issues I've been dealing with. I'm now on week 11 and my experience has been amazing! Between the 3D imaging to see clear, detailed, three dimensional images of teeth, as well as the bones and soft tissues that surround them, and the in-house 3D printing capabilities to print custom trays, Dentistry of Monroe is truly boutique. I can't recommend this practice enough. If you need your teeth taken care of, Dr. Turner is your guy, and Dentistry on Monroe is your spot.

I usually don't write reviews but after seeing Dr. Turner three times already I wanted to take a moment to write one for Dentistry on Monroe because they are the real deal. I've had my fair share of dental work done through the years and been to several great dentist offices in Charlotte, NC and Boston, MA but Dr. Turner and the staff at Dentistry on Monroe have been without question the best. From their paperless intake process and the way they take x-rays to the 3d models of your teeth and overhead monitors, they seem to have the latest and greatest in dental equipment and technology. Another thing that really sets this practice apart is their customer service. The staff is really friendly and professional. Dr. Turner is extremely personable, knowledgeable and takes time to really talk to you and go over everything related to your dental health. His attention to detail is just amazing. My approach has always been to go to the dentist office closest to where I work/live. I'm glad I took the quick 10 minute drive from uptown to see Dr. Turner because the quality and attention I'm getting now is so much higher than what I was getting at my previous fancy uptown dental office. I've been telling all my friends, family and coworkers about Dr. Turner. I can't recommend this practice enough!

I had an amazing experience at Dentistry on Monroe. From the moment I walked through the door everything went great. I was greeted immediately and brought to a patient room within five minutes of my arrival. As it was my first visit I had x-rays taken, and when Dr. Turner met with me I was impressed that he thoroughly went over them with me and took the time to explain what he was seeing as well as to understand my dental health history. I didn't feel rushed or overlooked at all, and it's nice to know that I will see the exact same dentist each time I visit. I should also mention that there are TV's on the wall and ceiling. Coupled with the headphones provided, it's a nice distraction from all of the noise that happens during cleanings. I was also impressed with the technology the practice is using as it made the entire experience much more comfortable that I am used to. Again I have to mention how thorough Dr. Turner was with the cleaning - he explained exactly what he was doing / looking for during each step of the process and was great to talk with. Overall I was as happy as you can be with a trip to the Dentist and I will be back in six months.

Dr. Eric Turner and his team challenged what I once though to be great customer service. They are now the STANDARD to ANY interaction I encounter in the service world. From the moment I was greeted, I knew I was in the right place as the entire appointment was fluid and well executed and started on time. Eric spent 30 minutes going over how we got to where we were, where we are now and where we are going on the journey of healthier oral hygiene. I was equipped with step by step instructions on flossing all while debunking alternatives and improper methods. I was upfront about not going to the dentist in a while due to consistently moving throughout my 20’s and Eric made sure to ease my fears and get me a manageable and scalable routine. He’s literally changed my perception on oral care, making me excited to go the extra mile for my smile. The staff is friendly and personable, no sterile conversations here. I loved being able to watch Endgame while taking my mind off my procedure. While my wife and I have considered further from the city, Eric will be my dentist as long as he’s in busuness.

If I could give Dr. Turner 100 STARS, I would!! Dr. Turner's enthusiasm for dentistry and patient care is truly refreshing. During a time when most providers spend less and less time with the patient and more time dealing with billing/insurance and other non-patient facing tasks, Dr. Turner truly maximizes the time he spends with the patient. During my first visit, he taught me about the importance of oral hygiene with an in depth review and look at every tooth I had. I learned so much that I was inspired to floss! Something I have never done my entire life! I have been a patient of Dr. Turner's for over six months now and I can truly say that he is so passionate and the most phenomenal provider I have ever had. He is honest and doesn't push any procedures that aren't necessary at the time or that we can watch and wait. My experience was so amazing, I even sent my husband into his practice for his next cleaning and he was equally impressed by the quality of this practice. My initial appointment was made to get a second opinion of my ongoing oral disaster on 4/19/23. Prior dental visits for me have been a 'negative' experience since an early age (currently 66 years young). Apprehensive-YES! 7/12/23....Honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. This small team of beautiful people have treated me like family from the beginning. YEARS of my own dental shortcomings have been accessed and addressed. Dr. Turner is wonderful! He is very passionate about dentistry and explains x-rays and CT scans in layman’s terms so you understand what is going on. Most laid back dentist I have ever been to. He likes to teach his patients about dental/oral hygiene and will emphasize to just keep a routine instead of “reaching for gold,” e.g by flossing everyday after meals. He’s more focused on you forming a healthy habit, like floss once a week then try two times a week until you’ve worked your way to at least 5 times a week. He is younger, but I think he understands that not everyone is a dentist and may not always have the best routine. He makes a lot of self-aware dentist jokes (like oh wow your gums are bleeding because you didn’t floss and not because I stabbed you with a metal hook). He is also transparent on dental work you need and not try to sell you a root canal, 3 crowns, and 6 fillings when you only have 2 concerning cavities. 10/10 I’ll keep going back to Dr. Turner for my dental work and cleanings.

Just wait until you see the x-ray imaging and how thorough and detailed a job it does. This experience was a quantum leap forward compared to previous dental exams. When I go for an exam, I want to be sure that it's thorough and that any potential issues get caught so they can be fixed before they become bigger issues. With this new technology, which was faster and much more pleasant to complete than the old, it certainly met my desire for thoroughness. Plus Dr Turner was detailed in his explanations. I particularly liked that he explained what could happen in the future and ways to avoid future nastiness, such as gum disease or other issues. Plus, I had skipped dentist visits during the pandemic so I was worried about what would be found. Dr Turner was not judgmental about that. It was a much more pleasant experience than I thought it would be.

Dr. Turner is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. He took the time to educate me about my teeth in a way that helped me understand why certain parts of my dental care are more or less important than others and how I can keep my teeth healthy and it was all personalized to me. He did a very thorough exam, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, and kept me at ease. The dental cleaning was thorough and the dental hygienist was professional and personable. The office is modern and gorgeous (I only got a picture of the waiting room because I loved all of the fall-themed decor but the rest of the office also looked new and very nice). Dr. Turner clearly cares about his patients and his profession, and loves educating which made for the best dental experience I've ever day, I can't recommend this place enough!!!

First time in a while I've seen a dentist. Due to my embarrassing smile and teeth. I couldn't of felt more comfortable with the visit. Very professional and very friendly. Not once was it uncomfortable. Already have a follow-up appointment for some work. Looking forward to my next visit. Update：it's been a year and a half since last review. Whats happened in this time frame is nothing short of a miracle. My smile is amazing. My attitude and outlook on life has grown and I find myself thankful for a dentist and his staff who cared more about me and my well being then I did. First time visiting Dentistry on Monroe for a 6-month cleaning and check up. The service and professional care was excellent. Maritza did a great job examining and explaining in detail what their protocols were for dental hygiene. Dentist Eric Turner was fantastic in his profound detail of my teeth and what improvements needed to be made. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. Not to mention the top of the line quality equipment that was throughout the whole process. The new mouth guard used instead of the suction tool was a delight, no pain at all. I'm a big proponent of writing positive reviews for excellent businesses. Yes, just yes. It's been a while since I've seen a dentist who was receptive and open-minded to my wants v needs. Dr. Turner understands me and has helped me formulate a plan that fits my timeline and even kept budgetary needs in mind during a busy/expensive time in my life. I had previously been to *another* practice and in my first visit, veneers were quoted and pushed on me. I understand that the previous dentist wanted me to live my best smiling life, but it's not in my plans right now. Thank you, Dr. T and staff. I adore my hygienist too, by the way. I typically do not leave reviews but this office sets the bar for perfection. Dr. Turner and his staff are professional and courteous. I have never had such a fantastic dental experience. State of the art equipment, clean, great music, wonderful atmosphere-you seriously almost forget you are at the dentist. Dr Turner took time to listen to my concerns, answer questions and provided a care plan to correct slight spacing. After having the same dentist for 20 years I decided to take a chance on Dr. Turner after seeing other’s recommendations. Love Dr. Turner! I originally came in because I had a molar chip and needed to find a dentist that could fix it ASAP. They were able to get me in the same day only a few hours after calling. They were able to fix my chip, then I scheduled a cleaning afterwards because I had a good experience. Dr. Turner is very educational and walked through my x-rays to help me learn/understand more about my teeth, which no dentist has done with me before. Not to mention they let me watch Netflix while they cleaned my teeth, which was a great distraction as I generally hate having any dental work done. Highly recommend!

I had a great dentist for many years, but moved to the area and had to start over. I am so glad I found Dr. Turner. I tried another dentist but I felt like a number. Dr. Turner takes the time to know his patients. I have had to have several procedures, and they have all been completed beyond my expectations. Eric Turner is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I learned so much from him in one visit. I wish all dentists explained to their patients about gum disease, cavities, how to properly floss and take care of your teeth. I went in for a cleaning and he showed me x-rays of my teeth and explained everything before we got started. The staff is super friendly as well. I was looking for a dentist, I found Dentistry on Monroe. They had great reviews. Made appointment went in to find out what all needed to get done, it’s a lot. Well I get very anxious and mean very. Dr Turner is great , he talks to you to let you know what he will be doing. He is very gentle and became very relaxed after he started. His staff is just as great they make you feel like they have known you forever. If you are looking for a dentist or new dentist this would be place to come to.

I had an awesome experience today. I have been using Dr Tuner for three years and it keeps getting better. They were very thorough and explained the whys behind tooth care and gum care. It was refreshing to have a dentist that wanted to explain the whys behind tooth care. The staff is amazing and takes the time to get to know their patients. No awkward questions when they are physically working in your mouth. Just an overall great place. I recommend to all of my friends and family.

Dr. Turner and his staff are polite and personable. The hygienists are thorough and gentle in their cleanings. Dr. Turner found a crown was needed on a molar with some very small cracks. He took the time to show the X-rays and explained why it needed to be now. Hands-down best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist! Dr. Turner and his staff go above and beyond to ensure his patients are comfortable, both physically and mentally. He takes the time to fully answer any questions that come up, and he also has a state-of-the-art facility, complete with a Netflix set-up while you’re having your teeth cleaned.

Felt so comfortable here, the doctors and staff are very professional, respectful. Had a couple cavities that needed to be filled. While getting the cavities filled they gave me Bluetooth headphones and put Netflix on the tv for me to watch while they worked. I’ve never felt more relaxed in any other dentist office. Definitely recommend!

The BEST experience I've ever had at a dentist. The staff is delightful, helpful, and accommodating. The dentist is super thorough and makes you feel very comfortable with the entire experience. Not a negative thing to say! Choose them!

A really awesome dental practice! Dr. Turner and his staff are sensitive and educated, this is a good place to come to if you have dental anxiety. He’s my first dentist having moved here from out of state and I’m glad I found him!

Very clean facility. X ray machine was a little tough to manage “I’m a bigger guy.” Dr. Turner made me feel very welcome as a new patient. His knowledge and time to explain really helped me understand the care and process.
