So about yesterday passing by the area of gulshan-ravi. As iftaar time was near. Headed on to this restuarant named “desi”. The first impression was not as pleasing or fancy but yet to do iftari it was our only choice. And to my surprise the descision turned out to be toooo good. Yes the ambiance was not upto the mark as its name stated as “Desi”, so was the place. But the food as an ultimate love. We had BBQ and yes, one of the finest taste i had in a long time. Reason of writing review is not that they welcomed us pleasantly but the kain reason is. It was soo damn economical and the taste was REALLY superb. Guys living around this area must to and try it once. For sure you guys would love it. Ordered: 2 seekh chicken green boti 2 seekh sheesh tau 4 mutton kebabs Cheese nan Kalvanji naan (All this was enough for two persons) Total bill was : 1400 They also served complimentary drink, dates, dahi bhallay at time of iftar. A must must visit folks. Genuinely you’ll love their taste. Restuarant name: Desi Right next to where ilyas dumba karahi is being opened.

I tried their karhai and chicken boti, the masala or karhai was not cooked properly and its taste was pathetic, chicken boti was too much spicy :-/. Not recommended for those who has some sense of food. I visited this on 24 June 2019.

Food taste is good but little bit expensive, some of the staff behaviour was rude and some have decent behaviour and service. And also not tidy.

Everything at one place, normal quality food but the good thing is you can get anything from here, fast food, dasi food, mobile card, photocopy, fresh juice, etc etc

The photos of this place are fake. It is dingy, stinky, and v low maintenance. Kindly ask for genuine pictures. So that it is not misleading for other people.

Good available option for dine in. They have a very good option for patients, prepare delicious Yakhni and Daliya properly in no extra time delay.

Just an ok place to visit. Not many varieties and hygiene is not good. Not recommended. But you can get some necessary things down there

The place is crappy but the food is on point. Nice place to smoke and have a cup of tea. All around it would cost you a 100/- rs only.

It was good. But there was no availability of generator. There should be alternative arrangements if there is no light
