They take the time to really listen to you and your concerns without rushing you out. This Dentist Office is by far the best Dental experience I've ever had. I have had problems with my front teeth for a long time as I chipped the front when I was young. I used to go to another office in Edmonton on the North side and witched to Deign Dentistry as they had great reviews and honestly they are all so true. Dr. Sawani is by far the best Dentist Ive been to and I have had 6 different ones. He is very polite, professional, patient oriented and very gentle with his procedures. I have never liked needles when it comes to dental work and with Dr. Sawani I did not feel A THING!! He is very particular yet very attentive to the patient and always checks up during the visit which many don't. Most Dentists just go right in, are money focused and are very aggressive and try to go fast to get to the next patient. My sister had another dentist remove 2 teeth and not only was it painful but she was very swollen after words. Me on the other hand, I had 4 teeth removed and the were the same ones she got removed plus the top, not only was the procedure super smooth and painless, I had ABSOLUTELY NO SWELLING. DR. SAWANI is the BEST Dentist Ive ever been to! He will give you the best option, that lasts the longest and thinks about whats best for you. I almost got tricked by another office to get a different procedure that not only wouldn't have worked for my teeth, but would have costed me an arm and a leg to get fixed properly after I would have paid a ton of money to get done in the first place. As for the Design Dentistry staff, front end is amazing! They are so polite and friendly. The Dental Assistant is super friendly, funny and takes the time to talk to you and get to know you as well while she preps you for the procedure and Dentist. You don't find many dentist and dental offices that care for you as a patient and get to know you. Many are money driven but this office is very much patient oriented which is how clinics should be!

Went in to have an extraction done on a retained baby tooth that's been causing me issues ever since I had what they called a pulpectomy on. During my appointment I was paired with an older gentleman who had nothing but an attitude with me due to me telling him I could still feel where should be frozen. He used a tool, scratched my gym really hard and asked I could feel it. When I said yes he yelled at me "What do you want me to freeze you're whole face? I can't do that". I said no I want it frozen where the tooth needs to be extracted. He continued to try to force me into allowing him to pull the tooth while I could clearly still feel that area and than started counting down until he would go ahead with it. I said no you need more freezing, eventually he started counting down on how long until in which I suggested he take a break and come back when it was time to freeze again. Let's be honest here there is nothing more awkward than having a grown man standing over you counting. At that point he left, the dental assistant came in saying I can come back when I'm ready because he felt I wasn't ready. I said of course I'm not ready I'm not going to have him pull a tooth while I can feel the entire area! Next thing you know he was going to go pick up his daughter but I could hear him talking about soccer for 10-15 minutes while waiting for another dentist to come in. She said she was rushed but could try to do it in limited time or to rebook. Sorry not all families can constantly afford gas and childcare and everything else for this procedure. I ended up needing to get this done elsewhere only to find out they charged my insurance for the extraction they haven't even done, so now that is another issue I have to deal with. Disrespectful staff top to bottom and they are scam artists! Turns out they charged my insurance for a few things they didn't do.

The BEST dental clinic ever! In the last 40 years I have been to so many different dental clinics and hands down Design Dentistry is the BEST of the best. They could teach customer service to any industry. The biggest bonus is that I live so close, I can walk to it. The moment you walk in the clinic door, the warmth and welcome you receive from the 3 amazing ladies at reception cannot be matched. They always go up and above with understanding and care, always trying to accommodate me and the challenges I face. The cleaning has always been my greatest fear when going to the dentist, as I have such a sensitive mouth. I've seen many different dental hygienists/assistants at the clinic but I can say with upmost certainty that there is not one that has not been anything but beyond kind and gentle with me. Dr. Tuba Khan has the most kind and gentle chair side manner I've ever experienced with any dentist. Her compassion, skills and knowledge go a long way. She will ensure you're comfortable at all times, checking in on you each step of the way. Your well-being is her first priority. She is a top notch professional and her work is outstanding. If there is something outside her scope of dentistry, she will ensure to refer you to another top of the line specialist to assist. what a wonderful dentist office to go to i was having a problem i talked to a lady named keely and explained my situation, she was so nice and kind asked if i could be there in 15 min, and i was, from the moment i got there i was treated so nice, i did see dr. khan and what a nice dr, she explained to me everything i got 2 different meds , and i have to go back in 2 weeks for check up, i tryed to get into a dentist anywhere i could ,plus phoned medi centers, i tryed 2 dentists in belmead, they were not very nice, design dentistry were the only place that would see me i was in pain plus a senior and they were just so helpful ty to keely and dr khan for seeing me and i will be bring my other family there to tyvm Linda Martin today i took my grandson to the dentist, he was scared up all night with anxiety, i didnt think we were going to get there he hadnt been to a dentist in 4 yrs, from the moment we got there, keely was at front desk and i told her about his anxiety, well she was so nice to him and expained different things to him to help him with his anxiety, well he went back to have his teeth cleaned and said grama it was great, he really liked the lady who did the cleaning, then he saw dr. Khan, and thought she was so nice to, asked questions and he liked her, so ty all for seeing my grandson, and like i said what a wonderfull place to go, he will be going back to see dentist tyvm

I do not even know where to begin. If I could give a million and one stars, I would. Because the entire staff deserves every single one of them. If you are scared, embarrassed or worried about going to the dentist, there is no other place on the planet that you should go to instead. From the very first phone call to book my first appointment I knew that this was the only dentist office I would ever go to. The receptionist I spoke with (Keely) was so kind as I explained the predicament that I had gotten myself in. She not only made me feel like she was listening, she offered support and solutions to me before I ever arrived for my first appointment. When I arrived for my first appointment, the entire staff was SO friendly. They were so kind to me. Dr. Khan was put on this earth to do her job. Incredible is an understatement. You feel so well taken care of from the moment you walk in the building. She listens to your concerns and works with you to do your treatment plan in a way that is possible. I drove two hours each way to see her, and I always will. The reception staff, the hygienists and the dentists are all amazing. You will never be made to feel uncomfortable. I have been going to Design Dentistry for 20+ years. After my recent appointment, I have never felt so disappointed in a place that has had mine/ my family near and far/ as well as many friends -faithful business for so many years. During my scheduled appointment I soon found out that my cleaning appointment and check up was changed and booked with a different hygienist and dentist.(both of which I have never met before) I was not notified of these changes prior to nor did they introduce themselves. After 20+ years of loyalty I would hope for respect, honesty and transparency. After my cleaning, the dentist checked my teeth and proceeded to what I feel 'was looking or fishing for issues in my mouth.' I left the chair confused and quite uncomfortable with the quality of practice that I just faced. Later after a bit of research and reaching out to my circle of people, I then discovered that some major changes in staff had recently occurred. If it doesn't feel right...trust your gut, get the answers from people you trust.

A great Dentistry, from the front desk to all the people working there are super good & courteous. I have had sensitive teeth for a number of years. I was visiting this other Dentistry for many years, all they did was clean my teeth. Here at Design Dentistry, my 1st. visit: - they did a super cleaning job, - followed by a procedure by Dr. Khan, that has relieved more than 80% of my sensitivity. !!!!! Unbelievable !!!!! I could never imagine so much relief in one visit. I am due for a follow-up visit in couple of weeks. Hopefully that will resolve balance of the issues. The whole place is neat, clean, the staff is very friendly and very professional. I have a handicap, & use a walking stick. My first visit, the nice lady (Sorry forgotten your name) at the front desk helped me all the way to the cab. - This was the first time, anyone has ever done that. Thanks so much. A great facility. love it! I was not a dentist fan at all until I came here. Kate did a fantastic job on my first visit by giving my teeth a good clean inside out. and she treat you like her own family member. very polite and patient. I don't think I will go elsewhere now. booked my 2nd appointment already with Kate before I leave my chair even. overall I am very happy with the teeth cleaning job she did. btw the business hours is good too. I don't have time before 4:30 anyway, so opening late is quite important to me. add-on: Dr Sawani is very friendly and polite as well. he doesn't push you let you do everything they have, he only wants you to do what's the best that suit you in your situation. love this place overall.

The entire staff are awesome!!!The front desk staff, the assistants and dentists cared about my needs and did what they could to satisfy them. They offered suggestions of things that I was unaware of. They are happy and cheerful and easy to understand. Explanations of how the mouth works were given without hesitation. They made sure that all of my questions were answered before I left the office. What An Amazing Team❣❣ I also want to add that the denturist that Design Dentistry works with, Tyler Dudley, is amazing too. He helped me make decisions without "pushing" me in one way or another. Also would like to add that they now kick people out over reviews other people wrote. Will be calling higher up and having something done about the way this dentist office Carrie’s on. If I were you I’d also be asking for every receipt back as I have notice a couple of charges to my insurance for work and things they didn’t even do. I think it’s absolutely atrocious that they put private information online after saying they will not. I’ve been now addressed twice as someone I am not. This is not Lacey. I will be contacting someone further to have this dealt with as you guys cannot clearly handle having bad reviews written about you guys. Absolutely disgusted

If you want to be treated like a royalty, then I would strongly recommend the design team. When I entered the premises, I was warmly greeted by Ann at the reception. After completing the formalities, I was taken to the exam room. Laura did a great job with the cleaning and polishing which was followed by complimentary whitening done by Saba. The visit concluded with Dr. Khan offering her expert advice and consultation. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I'm delighted to have found the perfect team to look after my dental needs. This is the best dental clinic in Edmonton. Dr. Sawani and team are incredible (I wish I had a superior word to define) . The team ensures you are comfortable and happy with the treatment and financial aspects too. They will go above and beyond to care for you and make you satisfied . Dr.Khan is the only doctor my little man will see , shes so gentle and fun in diverting the little minds. Fantastic dentists and staff, highly recommend. We moved to Spruce but continue to make the drive to see Dr. Sawani and recently Dr. Khan who has made many adjustments to her schedule in order to get our son's cavities fixed when they have been causing him much pain. Dr. Khan has been amazing with our 6 year old son and has made the process of freezing and multiple dental appointments as easy as possible for him. She is very kind, gentle and amazing with kids. Everyone at Design Dentistry treats us like family, we could not ask for a better dental clinic.

Needed a new dentist for the family and tried Dr Pirani at Design Dentisty. Great decision! Dr Pirani grew up in west end Edmonton. He is knowledgeable and skilled and takes the time to explain things. He has a calm and friendly approach. The staff is genuinely friendly and caring and take the time to get to know you. I had a some dental surgery yesterday and I am impressed with my whole experience. Not only professional and skilled, but a compassionate and comfortable experience... as far as dental surgery can go! Highly recommended!

I suffer with really bad dentist anxiety. I weep uncntrollably and can't speak. All the staff here did amazing at their job. Each step of the way they were checking in with me. Did I need something? Could they do something to help me? She gave me a mouth rinse to numb me for the procedure so I didnt need freezing for the cleaning which I always do so that was two less needles. The receptionists were efficient at getting me out of there as well, which I appreciated. I have already recommended this team among my friends and family.

Recently, I went to this clinic for my scaling. I had a great experience dealing with Dr.Asif Sawani. The clinic was very well organized and the staff was very helpful throughout my visit. I will highly recommend Dr.Asif to everyone since I had the phobia of going to the dentist but after my visit it just vanished. Dr.Asif is very knowledgeable, skillful and friendly. He takes time in hearing your concerns and ensures that the best treatment is provided. He will be my family dentist moving forward.

Highly recommend Dr Khan and Laura especially for kids! Absolutely loved the experience. My little one recently went for her first ever dental checkup and Dr Tuba Khan was an absolutely delight. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her appointment and Dr Khan kept her entertained and eased her into the checkup. Got my own checkup done from Dr Khan too and really liked the detailed feedback and how she calmed down my nerves before the session. Would also highly recommend Laura for the dental cleaning.

Had an emergency tooth pain which turned out to be a wisdom tooth decaying. Called the office at 9AM, the receptionist picked up and advised I could come in at 2pm. I met Dr Sawani and within 30mins the tooth was out and my pain gone. I barely felt anything and the post surgery was non existent. Another dentist told me see an oral surgeon for the same operation while Dr Sawani took me right! Highly recommended!

An exceptional experience! A caring, attentive staff - and a dentist that took the time to explain all aspects of my procedure. Their unique after-hours service also allowed me to receive information and reassurance over the weekend. Excellent staff that is empathetic, kind, humorous. Dr. Sawani is a very kind, careful and soft when doing work. He ensures you are 100% comfortable with what he is doing. He is very soft when doing his work and hardly any pain at all!!! I am not as afraid of the dentist as I have been throughout my life due to this dentist. I am 56 years old and finally comfortable with a dentist.

The dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff are all kind and genuinely helpful. I have had the misfortune to need a fair bit of dental work in the past few years and everyone here has done excellent work. They are reasonable about working with various insurance providers on payment plans that accommodate each patient's needs. I cannot recommend Design Dentistry highly enough!

I switched last year to dr. Sawani and he is amazing to deal with. So personable and polite and gentle. Great with my kids and they enjoy coming to the dentist now too. The front staff are outstanding text my reminders fax in my prescriptions and are just an overall delight. They are right to the fee guide which makes it very affordable to our family of four!

Dr Tuba Khan - I have never seen such a personality in my life, she is so friendly, caring, professional, kind heart and so much more to add. I was extremely impressed by the staff at Design Dentistry. The girls at the front were so welcoming & Dr. Sawani was very knowledgeable. They took my temperature once I arrived to make sure I didn’t have any covid symptoms (super important to me.) Furthermore, the office was very clean. I have baby teeth in my mouth covered by veneers. Wouldn't you know it the veneer broke on a Friday night. DESIGN DENTISTRY got me in on Saturday and repaired it. Thank goodness as I don't have the best teeth to begin with and to walk around with a broken tooth is embarrassing. Dr Khan did a great job and the staff there is amazing. Glad to have found them.

This is the second time I was at this clinic I am very happy with the scaling. My temperature was checked and offered sanitizer. Clinic is very clean. I was treated very professionally by Laura. She took X-rays and did great job scaling and polishing my teeth. I recommend this clinic for all your dental work.

Dr Tuba Khan is amazing with my kids and also with my elderly mom. My kids love visiting her. She has the famous treasure cheat in her clinic that kids love picking stuff out of at the end of their visit. She's a great dentist overall.

I had a broken tooth, called them and got in right away. They got it looked after with no discomfort at all, including the bill. They were fantastic from start to finish. Strongly reccomend them for any dental needs.
