I had a great experience with the team here, I have to admit I was a little hesitant only because I am not good with change and I have a fear of dentist’s but Christine who is the administrator was super determined to get me in and it was her warm embrace that made me pull the trigger, it was great putting a face to the name! I was wow’d when I walked in as the renovations that were put into this clinic looked phenomenal! Very zen and relaxing which was not something I had experienced at a dental office before. The dental hygienist Manpreet Dhaliwal was super friendly and made me feel at ease while she was doing a cleaning. She even offered some advice on regular dental hygiene and was very caring. Amber Morrison who is the dental assistant was very sweet and while taking x-rays it can be a little uncomfortable (having that thing in your mouth) but she very quick about it and proactive which I can acknowledge and appreciate. Lastly, Dr. Ailin Yu was very thorough and in depth with her checkup, I was honestly very blown away with her knowledge and the advice she had to offer. Non the less you guys made it a great experience and I would refer this dental office to my friends and family, they presented me with a warm welcome from start to finish.

A friend of mine recommended this place to me, this is the nicest dental office I’ve ever been in! The place has the look and feel of a high end spa, it is gorgeous! I normally don’t do these reviews but I was really impressed with this place and feel like we need to support small businesses more than ever right now. Receptionist was really nice and personable, I always feel a bit nervous going to the dentist but she made the start of my experience really comfortable and of course walked me thru the covid questions and took a temperature check. I waited only a couple of minutes for my appointment, which is nice because my old place was brutal for being on time. Hygienist was really good and thorough, my teeth feel really clean. She also pointed out some areas for me to focus on for enhanced flossing . Dentist did a thorough exam and gave me good feedback on my teeth and answered my concerns, I appreciated that she took the time to go thru and show me my xrays instead of rushing thru the appointment. They direct bill here which is a huge timesaver! Overall I recommend their services to anyone looking for a refreshing change - a modern, quiet clinic where they really focus on their patients.

Edited September 21, 2023: The below, positive review is old, and I have unfortunately needed to retract the previous comments/rating as staffing seems to have changed significantly. Prior my visits to Destination Dental, I did not know it was possible to have such an outstanding experience at a dental clinic. The office is modern, well lit, clean, and utilized a very intuitive web-app for my new-patient intake. Rebecca at the front desk was extremely helpful in assisting me navigate my coverage details over the phone prior to my first visit. Similar to the remainder of the staff at this location - she was incredibly welcoming, and I was able to ask all the questions about planning out my treatment schedule. Dr. Yu was very professional and thorough in her work and provided great explanations of the procedures along the way. Over several appointments, I also had help from hygienist (?) Amber and Manpreet, both amazing to interact with and I cannot recommend them enough. Even if you haven't had poor experiences with your dentists/clinics in the past, I would highly suggest checking this place out - it’s definitely an upgrade from every clinic I’ve been to before.

Updated review (2 years after initial 5-star review): service has declined in quality. I started going to this clinic approximately 4 years ago. Was very impressed by the service, and thorough care of both Dr. Yu and the dental hygienists. Communication and scheduling was smooth. Over the last 6-12 months, my experience has been less superb. The staff turn over has been super high (both of Dentists and hygienists). As a result, the clinic is now only open Mondays and Wednesdays, making scheduling quite limited. There also seems to be breakdown in internal office scheduling and communication. For example, I booked a cleaning, and after the appointment was told I was also due for my annual assessment. As a result, I had to book back in days later. This happened despite me asking prior to my cleaning if I was due for additional assessment. The office seems much more disorganized. That said, my most recent cleaning was excellent, the hygienist was very attentive and thorough.

Best dental experience I’ve ever had! I just finished a bunch of dental work as I unfortunately put off going for a bit too long but these ladies made everything so easy. My anxiety was next to none during all treatments when it’s normally sky high. The office is new, clean and incredibly modern. Dr. Yu is absolutely fantastic and I can’t recommend her enough to all my family and friends. I also had the chance to interact with Amber, Manpreet and Christine.. all fabulous. If you are someone who suffers from dental anxiety this is the place for you. They make you feel at ease, they walk you through everything and answer every one of your questions. Also their aromatherapy smells they offer smell divine. Thank you ladies! Love that you’re an all woman practice and can’t wait for my next cleaning. My note on COVID-19: they take it extremely seriously which is a huge relief and appreciated!

Really great experience hands down best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Did a very thorough examination of my whole mouth. Extremely good job with cleaning every nook and cranny. with a personalized assessment on paper I was able to take home. I really like the assessment because I don't have to guess which teeth and gum areas I need to be careful with. I can simply reference the assessment and take extra care while brushing and flossing. Also would like to add that all the staff where Extremely personable as well as professional did not seem rushed whatsoever. Not to mention one of the best views in the city while in the chair!! Thanks again for the amazing experience! PS. Would like to mention they also offer a 60 min massage with a certain amount of dental work free for your fist time!!

I had my visit here a couple days ago and it went really well. I hate going to the dentist, but this was a positive experience. The clinic is beautiful, whoever designed it did a fantastic job, it doesn't feel sterile like most dental offices it is warm and welcoming. The office admin Rebecca is kind and efficient. My hygienist Manpreet is amazing at her job, I have sensitive teeth and she was very gentle yet thorough with her cleaning. Dr. Yu did my exam and she was personable and informative. I got to pick an essential oil during my visit and I chose lavender which was nice because I am anxious at the dentist. Looking forward to going back next month for my root canal and fillings - something I would have never said about a dentist before!

searched this place on maps. six minutes from my house.. website let me book online, (at 4:00am) which was nice, and the voice that called to confirm the next morning was even nicer. I thought, being in a building, that parking might be an issue or a cost but they have free reserved spaces for clients. Very nice office, with some SiFi equipment I've never seen before, and the dental chair is in a penthouse room with an entertaining view. (cuz theres only so many times you can read someone's diploma) I dont want to tell you what the dentist discovered, but she was some professional with her explanations and recommendations with all the images from her fancy equipment. altogether friendliest staff from door to the Dentist

I just visited this clinic and was really impressed!! I've never been to a clinic where you can get dental work and an array of cosmetic procedures in the same clinic. Dr Wirring and her team have created an environment that is welcoming and calming with little touches you just don’t get at other practices. Their team + staff went above and beyond to find creative solutions for my previous anxieties with dental work and ensured that my experience with them was comfortable. I went from hating dental work to not minding it at all. If you’re looking for great service, customized care, attentiveness and maybe a little cosmetic tune up Destination Dental & Wellness is for you.

Major price markups. Pic#1 is from my dentist, pic#2 is them. Yup, their quote for Invisaline is more than double, and even with their "promo", is over $1000 more. I had Invisaline 5 years ago, so just need a tune up for 4 months, as both dentists and Invisaline stated. My original treatment cost $3000 for almost a year with Dr.Magharius at Mackenzie Towne Dental. Only switched to Canyon Dental because I moved. Both MUCH less than Destination Dental. It is unethical and disgusts me that dentists are allowed to operate like used car salesmen in Alberta. Shop around!!!

I had an amazing experience at this office! The staff never fails to put a smile on your face when you come in. I’ve switched over from my previous dentist to come here and I’d recommend everyone does as well! I was helped out by Amber during my appointment and she was very kind and even gave me lavender to calm me during my filling. The dentist and receptionist are both amazing as well. Thank you for the great experience! I will definitely only be coming to this office.

You can’t go wrong going here. The ladies are all superb and know their stuff. Any questions or concerns about anything and they will always have an answer for you. The office is very aesthetically pleasing and they even offer some essential oils for you when you’re in the chair which is the first I’ve seen done. Just an overall great dentist office, with quality work and quality people. I even heard someone fall asleep during a root canal which is amazing in itself.

Changed dentist after previous dentists retirement was accelerated due to COVID. Was a pleasant experience for a dental office. I had to get a splint made and Amber made it as painless as possible. Dr. Yu and Manpreet also did a thorough first examination and so was a smooth transition from my old dentist, even reaching out to the old dental office for my previous X-Rays. The view was beautiful and I got to see the sunrise from my dental chair!

The best Dental Clinic in town. After having bad experiences from my previous dentists, I finally found an amazing work of Dr. Wirring. This dental clinic has a very friendly and welcoming environment. The staff are very friendly (Amber, Rebecca and Manpreet). I am very happy with my experiences at destination dental. Both dentists were great. I’m starting my Invisalign journey with Dr.Wirring in Jan and am so excited! After shopping around for prices i found some dentists telling me I would need the treatment for a way longer period. Dr. Wirring was very realistic with me and quoted me a very fair price. The clinic atmosphere and look was very modern and nice. Staff was great!

I’ve recently went there as they bought that office over from the previous dentist. It was the first time meeting everyone and I felt so very welcome. They are friendly and they show care and concern. They have great knowledge on everything dental and explained everything as they went along. I see myself being a patient there for years to come.

This is hands down one of the nicest clinics I've been to. Other than the dentist, they have a handful of other services like massage and body contouring too. I'm getting my invisalign done here and their team made the whole process feel effortless. Only place in the city you can visit the dentist with scenic views of the skyline and mountains!

I recently switched dentists as I am no longer working downtown. This office is centrally located and very easy to find. I enjoyed my visit with Dr.Yu. She was professional and very detailed in her explanations of the dental work required and why it was needed.
