I also posted this on Strand Brothers since that's where calling Devin & Sons on a Sunday dispatched us to. Hired because they had good Google reviews and were based close to our house. Do not recommend for water heater issues but also probably not for anything else. Water heater broken Friday, attempted relighting pilot light several times before giving in and seeking a pro. Called Saturday, no answer. Figure it's Veteran's day so we need to wait. Called Sunday morning, left # but no call back. Called Sunday around 1pm, appointment scheduled for 2pm, $99 visit fee(!). Call at 3:30 (1.5 hours after scheduled time) "oh no, we were sending a plumber but you need someone for a furnace" "no, we need a plumber for a water heater" "oh okay, they're on their way". Call at 3:55 from tech, dispatcher wrote down wrong address (happens but not surprising given the issues thus far). Tech arrives, without inspecting the machine, says "$200 to *attempt* to light the pilot light" -- on top of $99 visit fee. We say we already know it's not going to light so can you just figure out why it's not lighting. Guess that's not allowed. Tech, realizing we are very annoyed and not going to give his company any more money, attempts the pilot light for free (good on him, we appreciated that). Fails and confirms it would have been $200 down the drain on top of the $99 already down the drain. Nice tech, but very annoying experience with this company. Have since learned Doug the Plumber and Champion will send out plumbers for free estimates.

i would like to thank Kurt and Willie for an terrifc task on providing me with efficient insulation on my doors air vents. They even inspected my furnace and water heater. They were professional with they're appearance and language. They wiped their feet time upon entering my home. They were fast but thorough. They made sure I understood what they were doing as they were going through the steps. 5 + stars for these 2 professionals. I just graduated HVAC and they even advise I should apply for an opening. According to Kurt and Willie the company has good leadership. I am going to apply asap for a install position or anything HVAC related. once again thank Kurt and Willie.

recommend. Will call this company again. They did some repairs for me back in May 2022. My kitchen sink was completely blocked and I needed a valve replaced that runs cold water to my washing machine. I contacted them around noon and they sent one of their plumbers to my building by 3pm the same day when I requested them to come. Maddox, I believe was the plumber's name. He did a fantastic job. He explained all the repairs he would be doing. Did the work. And cleaned up after he was done.

wonderful Service! We had a miscommunication in terms on the type of equipment I requesting work on, and when they showed up(on-time) they realized the mistake. I felt they were well within their rights to keep the disbatch fee, although I was not happy. The manager contacted me to make sure I understood what happened. Additionally, She refunded the disbatch fee and apologized for the confusion. I would do business with them in the future. Thank you

They did a large work at our house. From beginning to end, they were professional and Kept us informed of that was going on. When I had questions about some of the charges, they were quick to resolve it. They even raked the rocks, replaced/raked the mulch and swept our patio when they were done, to get back to its original condition before the job started. I recommend them for any job, I know I will be calling them for any future needs.

Vincent arrived out because our drain tile system in the basement was blocked. He explained what he was doing. Showed us the footage and let us make an informed decision. He was thorough and didn't leave until the project was done. He even came back the following morning to do one more clean out to ensure the chemicals used had done their job. It was expensive but way cheaper than a whole new install. I would recommend.

The gentleman sent to repair my backed up toilet, not onlyfix the recurring clog, he worked to discover why it kept happening. He not only found it he and meticulously repair the pipe that had previously been installed out of alighnment. During this time he was friendly and professional. He also took the time to explain (with photos) what was wrong and how he would fix it. I recommend this company and this employee.

It appears that Devin & Sons may have gone out of business and someone took over their phone number. Tried calling and had someone answer "Would you like to speak to a plumber?" I said "Yes" and was transferred to Benjamin Franklin plumbing!? Then I tried calling again and said I was trying to reach Devin & Sons and was hung up on. A third call and the phone number was no longer in service. Very weird.

They installed a whole building steam humidifier onto my existing forced air HVAC system. Took about two months before they had time in the schedule of the installer, but nice group of guys. Took about 2 hours and they did things like I wanted and were pleased to have me hang out and answered any questions I had along the way. Left a nice clean looking install.

He was amazing came on time and respectable of my building (foot covers) he arrived back today and was able to repair everything that was wrong. He explained what was wrong and what he fixed which was great so I wasn't confused. He also showed me how to operate the new thermostat. Great service great guy , thank you Billy.

I contacted Paradise with multiple problems I was putting off. Raymond O. Came out the same day and was helpful in finding the cause and explaining why these things happend and what was needed to make a repair. The crew was polite and above all clean. I will be contacting in the future should I need any additional repairs.

Yes, our original appointment was pushed back by 27 hours. But the work was impeccable. Christian showed up to few stupid problems, but had a answer for them all. Wish we still lived in a cash world so I would’ve been ready to tip Christian on the spot. A easy and positive experience. Thank you Christian!
