I came across Dismount searching for Kona dealers and signed up for their emails, about 2 weeks later they had the bike I was looking for at a very good price so after exchanging a couple of emails with the shop to clarify some details (all of which were replied to quickly) I bought it from their website. Their online store works well and they seem to do a good job keeping it up to date in terms of what is currently in or out of stock. I picked the bike up last Friday. The store was nicely lit and laid out, and quite spacious I thought. They seemed to have a good selection of most things you might want to get. My bike was brought out quickly, I bought some new pedals, spoke to the guy helping me about some questions I had and off I went to ride home. I would certainly recommend the store.

A bike shop that treats people with dignity, superb. I love this shop, it is staffed with kind people, carries the best brands in the business and has a range of products that tells you that the owners care about product quality and they love riding bikes for the joy and adventure of it. Mechanic service is exceptional and reasonably quick, I won't go anywhere else ever again. If you're local, this should be your spot. If you're not, go out of your way to visit this place or buy online, they deserve everyone's business. Update: it's only gotten better since my initial review. These folks are big hearted and committed to service and experience. If you haven't been on the shop group ride yet, cancel your Wednesday night plans and attend.

Had a good experience with Dismount. Although the website didn't indicate it on purchase, the item I ordered was on back-order. When I reached out a day later (my delivery preference was set to next-day delivery) to find out a status, Megan from the Dismount team replied almost immediately to let me know about the back-order and to give me a general in-stock/delivery update - which was still before the weekend when I needed the order for. While the lack of notification on the back-order and the slight delay in delivery was a bit of a hiccup, it was more than made up for by the excellent customer service and prompt delivery once the item was back in stock. The pricing from this store is also very competitive.

I dare you to find a better bike shop. Welcoming and thoughtful staff, was greeted with a nice coffee and a chat about what I was looking for. After riding a few different bikes, Pat & Nathan and the team at Dismount made the experience extremely fun and easy. Left with a fantastic new Gravel bike, and had everything I needed. First ride in and I had no complaints, bike was setup perfectly, and the staff at Dismount really made sure I would be setup with what I need for a fun summer or riding. Can't speak highly enough about these folks. Do yourself a favor and get over there and find out what you're missing!

I highly recommend this shop. The people are just very genuinely nice, they have excellent customer service, they carry high quality products, and they make coffee in store. They take the extra step to make a connection with their customers even for online shopping — there was a nice hand written note in the box. Pat, Nathan, Megan and co. are some of the best shop peeps around and I can't recommend Dismount enough. Good folks, with the knowledge, the service and the coffee! The store is tight, their curation is right, with a solid focus on mountain and gravel riding. I haven't bought a bike there, but I have bought about everything else from bags to socks to jackets to sunnies to tires. I've had some repair work done and it's been perfect. They are game to talk shop will let you test ride some whips, and discuss trails and ride options to boot.

Pat welcomed me with calm and extremely helpful information on my new ride. Each time I walked through the door I have been warmly greeted and not pressured about anything. Nathan set me up for some test runs, and was timely about getting me on the road. Dismount has a great vibe and I only wish I would have discovered this awesome shop earlier. The folks at Dismount recently helped me purchase a Whisky carbon drop bar. Initially, there was an issue with the part that I ordered through their online system, and they went so far as to call me immediately. They even offered an upgraded component without further charge! Purchased a couple of things as birthday gift. The order was processed quickly, shipped quickly, and the order was complete. Very impressed with the customer service and numerous "check-ins" from Dismount. The purchase experience was excellent. Hopefully the warmer weather will be here soon enough and the products will be as excellent as the customer service experience.

This is truly my favorite shop in Toronto. As a bike courier, I've used many shops in Toronto and this one has the best Attention to detail, the best Workshop, and some of the best gear in town! Ask anyone from the staff and they will help you with open arms in a second. Always recommend this place to friends and they come back loving it as well!

My only experience is ordering a tool online but the overall process, delivery, and special touches inside the package made for a very memorable and positive experience shopping from the Dismount Bike Shop. Came here last weekend to buy a new bike (all city space horse) for my wife that’s on Sale. They are very accommodating and Nathan is well spoken. Very patient on our inquiries and let us try couple of bikes, our buying experience was superb, been to other well known bike shops in Toronto but this shop stands out the most.

I stopped by here after a recommendation from a barista at Lion Coffee down the street. Even though I know nothing about bikes, Luke was still super friendly and we had a great conversation about the neighborhood and third wave coffee culture! I had an oat milk latte which was one of the best oat milk lattes in a while!

I dropped into this shop for the first time today. My main interest is bikepacking/touring. This shop is a great place to equip yourself for touring. The staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely return there when I am ready to replace my current bike or for touring gear.

I haven't yet tried the bike services but there are tons of supplies in shop! The staff is very nice and all very covid safe with masks and everything. The coffee is really good and I'm glad to know and have this as a local coffee shop! In addition to the fact that they are also a bike shop!

Came here on a recommendation from Sam from Lion Coffee. Had the Cortado with the feature from anchor, Zambia. Was absolutely amazing, my new favourite place for a Cortado! Don’t know much about bikes but the coffee is amazing! The Barista is super friendly and informed about coffee!

Customer service is awesome! Ordered a Surly front rack, was shipped really quick, received my order in just a few days. There was also a personalized note for me in the package + a sticker + a surly patch. It's not a lot but it makes all the difference. Thank you!
