Don't do it! Jewel-Osco is a five-minute walk away, you can get most of the same beer and liquor from there for way cheaper. For example, I was just in here and they were asking $18 for a 12 pack of the local two brothers. I walked over to Jewel-Osco and they had the exact same thing there for $13. This is not an extra buck or two that these guys are getting out of you some of the alcohol I've seen has a good 30-50% price difference. About the only reason to ever buy from here is if you live in that neighborhood just behind on Wood and it's frigid cold and you don't feel like walking, and even then if you can afford these prices you could probably afford one of those services that deliver the alcohol right to your door anyway.
My first choice for buying beer in the neighborhood. They are so friendly here, the beer selection is ~3x the size compared to Target or Foxtrot, and it is much more satisfying to buy from a local business than a faceless corporate brand. I come in with my dog and they shower her with attention and treats, it is so sweet and she loves it (which makes me appreciate this place even more). Highly recommend! I don't notice the price difference that other reviewers mention - perhaps they improved it - regardless it is not really noticeable (they have plenty of craft 6 packs in the $10-12 range which is what I expect to pay any where).
Last late night resort. Everything is way over priced. I went in to buy some wine. The clerk said said some gibberish to me I couldn't understand. I said Okay. Then he just laughed and shook his head. The total was waaay more than it should have been. $10.83 for a four pack of sutter home mini bottles? I passed on that deal.
My neighborhood liquor store. They are a family (or set of families) and everyone seems close and friendly. They give me quarters for laundry. The wine prices are steep, but the $3.50 tall cans are always perfect. They have basic groceries and supplies also. Ice cream up front. Into it overall!
Great selection here and the staff are really nice. Cashier let me stay inside for a while on one of the coldest nights of the year as I waited for my ride (it showed up late) while I was traveling. Made sure to buy extra snacks to make up for it, lol!
Perfect corner store with a pretty big selection of alcohol. A few snacks as well. Prices are fair, a little.more expensive than you would expect for beer. But they allow dogs which always makes it convenient!
Best liquor store on Division Street do not go to D&D liquors do NOT go to Rite liquors come here to Division Street liquors best spot for you’re alcoholic beverage snacks or any needs
I just wanted a big can of beer Miller's budweiser. But the only beer they had was craft beer. If you want craf beer visit this store.
Large selection and friendly staff but their prices are too high. The micro-target across the street has beer at $3-$5 cheaper.
Convenience commands a premium and this place has both in spades. It also has a good selection and really friendly people.
This place rocks. Open late, the guys who run it are really friendly, and the craft beer selection is above average.
Great selection all around. It's like having a Binny’s in the neighborhood! Staff is friendly and sincere :)
Good selection, friendly helpful staff. A bit of the pricy side for High Life, if that's any indication.
Great little Bodega with a surprisingly large wine selection. The service is friendly. Would recommend.
Staff was helpful. I am a out of towner so may be I don't understand the culture of the area.
Liquor so spencer and beer are not cool. No recommend at all. Very bad services.
Great neighborhood spot, owners are very nice!
Good selection but overall a bit pricey
Margarita is very kind!
