My partner and I stayed here for a wedding at a near by vineyard and we loved it. Thankyou for the amazing stay and hospitality. Our host was fantastic, Rosanne greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room which was pretty much a little 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen with every utensil you'd need and had a massive shower. Couldn't have asked for any more. It's run by a very friendly family on their property, they have a bunch of really great animals too which they brought out for a pat like their little miniature pony and the family dog who was a big docile great dane that was all hugs. The host provided fresh eggs, bacon, oj, cereal, coffee pods & tea, tim tams, milk and a small sample of their self-produced honey from their bee hives and jam which we ended up buying a big jar of each to take home because they were so good, I'm eating the honey right now, it's amazing. And the area was fantastic, we had our privacy, no one was staying in the bungalow next to ours while we were there but it would have been fine if there were. We definitely will come back at some stage just to wind down and relax and to stock up on more honey. We have also been told to make bookings direct with the owners if you can as they have specials not available online. I also noted an on farm butcher shop 2 minutes down the road I'll be visiting next time we're around as well and do up some stakes next time.

We stayed here with our 3 year old kid, and this place was extremely family friendly and kids friendly. Place was huge for the 3 of us, and the kid enjoyed running in the garden. There was a number of animals (Safely fenced off) which the owner will bring you to visit if you want. Our kid really loved the chickens, goats and emus. Location wise, it was really near a number of excellent wineries, as well as near Yarra Glen which has an IGA with everything that you need to cook in the kitchen. Definitely a top choice to stay in for families with kids when visiting Yarra Valley.

Dixiglen Farm is perfect for a large family gathering. We were aged from our 70's to 4 years old, and booked all 3 Cottages for a 5 night stay. Roseann offers accommodation that is family friendly, provides movies & toys, a substantial Breakfast Basket, home made Jams, fresh Eggs & Honey, and room to run & play. The children loved the Animals, and a Fire pit at night was enjoyed by all. The Cottages were warm, clean & comfy, and handy to all the Yarra Valley offers. Thanks so much Roseann & Graeme!

Dixiglen Farm was amazing. Roseann is very smiling and we are actually well accommodated since we arrived in the place. We had the cob bread for free. This place was lovely, quaint and cosy. Beautiful cottage style places. Animals, fresh fruit trees. And the AMAZING home made jam and honey and other food was just amazing! Much needed after a long drive! Only problem we had was hair on the sheets, in the tub and shower like I had to pull it off the pillows and sheets before we hopped in.

Lovely place to stay. Nice and quiet in a great location. The owners are really nice and I loved the home made jam and bread ready there on our arrival. Also the breakfast supplies were fantastic and made the stay even better! Accomodation was spacious and loved the fireplace which kept the whole cabin nice and warm. Great place for families. Look forward to staying again one day!

Gorgeous place, well located in the tarra valley. Plenty of wood for the fire place and the house was big and cozy. Would happily come again with a large family or group. Got to see the bees and we we tried their honey. All in all highly recommended.

Lovely little cottages, very clean. The host Rosanne is so friendly and went over and above, providing breakfast and honey from her own bee hives. The farm is walking distance to a couple of really great wineries too. Will definitely be going back to stay here!!

Gorgeous cottage, generous breakfast provisions, spa bath, views of dams and paddocks, comfortable beds, air conditioning and a wood heater (which was glorious when we arrived after dark). We were guided by owner using torchlight to our cabin. Next morning we opened the door and saw several hot air balloons. Magical morning.
