"The breakfast was amazing and the service was absolutely fantastic! Will definitely put this restaurant down as my favorite place to go! The food was authentic and the vibes gave a down home feel like walking into grandma’s kitchen with the homemade tortillas! More"
"A local spot that is certainly worth a hop and skip to enjoy what they offer"
"Service is so bad if you are a woman "
The food here was really good and authentic. They have many Mexican options, including all day breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the tortillas which seem to be made on site, and the barbacoa. My only complaint is that our server kind of gave up on us halfway through our stay; I'm not sure of the reasoning. Likely to come again. More
You want authentic? This is the place. Aguas frescas, homemade tortillas, Pozole, Puerto cascabel...can't wait to go back. First had a sample of their food at Segundo Lab inside of Ironworks. Food was so good I asked where they got it from and he said Doña Chelas on 76th. More

A local spot that is certainly worth a hop and skip to enjoy what they offer. Will keep it as a phone in and carry out place as well. Certainly enjoyed the value of this place. It was also decorated for the season which was nice to see. More
Service is so bad if you are a woman .. I have been here plenty of times with a family member to eat and his service was always excellent.. I went in with a female friend and an elderly couple got served and waited on before we did. I even
Wasn't real mexican food. Left my cheese off the super burrito, I guess it was the last of the meat, it looked like it was cooked multiple times, my wife got the most expensive meal on the menu,of course, it had to be pigeon legs, and the
Nice, Mom & Pop vibe nestled in this East End community. I had an appointment in the area and asked one of the locals where I could go for authentic tacos or good lunch. Without hesitation he suggested Dona Chela... It was everything I
This is definitely a hidden GEM in this little Mexican dominated population side of town. I have had Menudo, Tacos (Barbacoa my favorite) breakfast or Lunch is great here. Wait staff like they were trained in Mexico or Guatemala, very
The food is great super delicious, just don’t expect to get good service. One of Two Waitress has an attitude the entire time she is taking care of you. The other one is ok but takes long to come over to take your order.
The food tastes just like home made by your mexican grandma, the service is homey and the place is in the middle of the most iconic Avenue in one of the oldest latino neighborhoods of Houston
Little Hispanic hole in the wall. Kind of expensive for tacos but they are big and filled. Ashley took my order and suggested some items that I liked and made it better. More
Authentic Mexican taste with home style meals. The server and thw kitchen met our veg requirements. Excellent tortillas and salsa flavors. My Son really enjoyed Horchata.
Good food, good service but they have the ceiling fan on full blast making it very cold which makes your food cold.... If you like cold food this is the place for you.
I discovered this Restaurant almost 2 years ago. Excellent Mexican food, they always offer the same quality and flavor in all their dishes.
Great atmosphere and people. Service was excellent funny and knowledgeable. A good spot for a good meal that didn't break the bank. More
The food is pretty decent, if you don't feel like cooking & you want Mexican food close to the house... this place is recommended
It was ok menudo tasty a little funky would only go back if the other fine institutions in the area were closed again More
This place has a little of everything. We enjoy their pancakes, burgers, chicken strips. They have a variety of plates.
It's quaint but sometimes the waitresses only speak Spanish. It's full on the. weekends. Only been here twice More
