I've been going to Doc's since they opened a few years ago and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the owner. I prefer Bourbon and Whiskey and there is always a good mix of inexpensive, local and/or premium liquors in stock. My brother in law is a craft beer guy and the owner always keeps a good and ever-changing stock of beers in. For others there is a nice variety of Vodkas, Rums, Tequilas all in many different varieties and the prices are good. If you want to support local businesses and have a liquor store where the owner and staff will greet you by name this is the place to go.

Very fair prices, great selection of quality liquors, close to home, and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. It's usually less than a dollar or two more than Specs for anything, but the liquor selection and staff more than makes up for that. There's a decent beer and wine selection if you're looking for a specific style. I may go somewhere else if I'm looking for a very specific brand of beer or wine, but Doc's definitely got the "liquor" part right!

Amazing people and great selection. This is in my opinion the best liquor store in San Antonio. The family style atmosphere makes you feel at home if your a regular and the williness to order any special requests is above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I see Danny and his family often and they always treat me very well.

10/10 customer service. I don’t have much experience with spirits and wines but luckily there was someone there to help me out. He did not treat me like an idiot and was instead helpful and polite. I will definitely return and recommend this business thanks to how kind and professional today was handled.

Great place, nice selection, knowledgeable and personable staff, awesome prices. Also they are promt to fill customer request and my personal favorite, "American Patronage", any member of military status gets automatic discount. Thanks for remembering our boys!

Great business and helpful owners. They were able to find a special whiskey that I haven't seen for over 10+ years. Y'all need to try Revelstoke Canadian Whiskey. Thanks guys for stocking it.

The owner is really helpful, the atmosphere feels nostalgic (you'll know what I mean once you walk in), they play great music, and the store is clean and well kept.

Great local liquor store with great prices on all of their products. Owners are awesome and especially love the unique liquors you don't find at most places.

I've been coming to this place from day one. The owner and his son are ultimately hospitable. Couldn't ask for a better local spot.

It may not have a huge selection you find at the big chain stores, but the owner makes up for it with great customer service.
