I would strongly recommend seeking care of any sort elsewhere before or considering this business. While this organization is easily accessible through online appointments payments etc., the quality of service is low as is their customer service. Though they were nice enough to apologize and acknowledge mistakes, there was little effort on the part of this organization to provide alternatives. The company would do themselves and their clients a service by practicing active communication and follwing up when they are required to do so. Furthermore, the business could benefit from having a better mix of more experienced doctors to support their junior physician staff. Finally, they could better position themselves to better serve their clients by adopting a more professional business model that emphasizes patient care. I can hardly describe my experience with this company as professional and travelers and expats should consider seeking care of any sort elsewhere or back home before rolling the dice and betting on DoctorsForExpats.

10/10 service! We went to a different clinic and they were no help. Luckily we were smart enough to search for Doctors for Expats, something we should have done the first time. Hernan was so quick to respond to my request and setup an appointment with a doctor. 30 minutes later we were on the phone with Dr. Lopez. He was the best. He asked a ton of questions and got us the medication we need and a lab test setup to make sure we knew what we were dealing with. The clinic set us up with a lab and a personal translator as our Spanish wasn't the best. We met Paula at the lab got the test done and waited for the results. Everyone we came in contact with was truly there to make sure you got the best care. Multiple times the clinic checked in on us and made sure we got our results back in a timely manner. I wish we would have only tried this clinic. They are fairly priced where others try to extort you for money. Trust me you will get the best care possible with these guys.

What an exceptioinal service! I needed anti malaria tablets for my upcoming trip to Africa. With a quick Google search here in Cartagena I found Doctors for Expats. I Whatsapped them and they wrote me back within seconds and proceeded to answer all my questions. From there I set up and telehealth appt with one of their doctors and had my presscriotion + tablets within hours. This was by far one of the easiest tasks I had to figure out before Africa thanks to Doctors for Expats. A true problem solving service I will use in the future when I am in Colombia. If they expand to other coutries I will do that same. Thank you Hernan and Julián!

Excellent experience. Needed help for the daughter of a good friend and all hospitals kept saying they couldn't help because it wasn't an "emergency", even though the kid kept crying and coughing for a whole month+. I contacted DoctorsForExpats and they immediately responded and sent a doctor within the hour. Talk about WOW. The doctor came to our house, carefully analyzed the situation and the patient, and prescribed a medication. Will definitely be using DoctorsForExpats as my "go to" Colombian doctor at least.

I want to commend both Hernan an Dr. Javier Lopez for their very personal and compassionate care and treatment while we were in Bogota this past week. My wife came down with food poisoning and Hernan set up the home visit with Dr. Lopez who arrived promptly, late evening thank God, examined my wife and prescribed effective treatment for the issue. Our experience with Doctors for Expats was exceptional. We are travellers & needed an English speaking doctor. The response from reception was also very prompt & within the day of messaging on WhatsApp we had a virtual appointment with a Doctor (on a Sunday too!). After receiving test results the interpretation was received the same day. Overall the service is professional, thorough & I would highly recommend if you are in need of medical services in Colombia. I have used doctors for expats twice now for two different issues whilst in Colombia, once for an online consultation and once in person. In both instances I was able to get an appointment very quickly, everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I was extremely happy with the service provided. Everyone also is English-speaking, which makes things much easier. Overall I would 100% recommend the company to anyone that has issues whilst in Colombia!

Very good, I can recommend. I needed medical aid due to ear pain while traveling in Colombia. They really helped me The coordination done by Hernan is quick with fast respond time. Amazing, affordable, and rapid service for English speaking expats and tourists in Colombia (not just Bogota!). I was able to get a telemedicine visit with a doctor within 30 minutes of reaching out, and left with prescriptions that were easily found at the local pharmacy. I was dubious at first but turned out to be a really good experience. I was able to get a Telehealth appointment within the hour and received my prescription and invoice etc quickly afterwards. The doctor spoke perfect English and was very helpful.
