I want to start off by saying Teresa is great and I love the way she does hair. So you ask why one star, well let me tell you. I was new to this shop and would come when my regular shop was full to capacity and I didn't have time to wait. So on the day that would become my last visit there I wanted to get a relaxer and advised that I needed one for a sensitive scalp as I burn easy. After waiting for a while, the lady that works along with Teresa called me to the chair and began to apply the relaxer, which again I made sure I advised for one designed for sensitive scalps and she agreed that it was and began to apply it. I was scrolling through my phone when I realized that the relaxer had been on my head for a while and tried to get the lady's attention and she asked if it was burning and I said no. After saying no she walked away to do other things. By the next time I got her attention I knew that it had been on too long but was not aware of how long as I was scrolling through my phone and not paying attention to the time when the relaxer was put on my hair, and this time she washed it out after I said it was burning when it was not, only because I knew too much time had gone by. By the time my hair was washed and roller set, chunks of my once beautiful bra strap length hair had started coming out. It was so bad that Teresa didn't want to put any heat on it so she put me under a cool dryer and hardly put any heat on my head when styling because there was so much hair coming out. I left there that day and over the next few months lost so much hair that I had to cut it due to patches of long and short sections of hair scattered about my head. I cried because I could not believe this had happened to me. I am writing this review to let others know that just because you go to a salon where the people are supposed to be trained, you really don't know what their abilities are. It is hard to find a stylist you can really trust your hair to. I will no longer trust my hair to be chemically serviced by anyone after this...so heart broken.

I have been coming to the salon for the past 7 years I used to enjoy the experience I actually looked forward to it. The last few times I attempted to visit the salon there has been issues I arrive early before opening and the salon did not open until 30 minutes after time stated on door. The very last time I attempted to visit the salon I arrived on a Saturday at 7:45 a.m. and I waited until 8:36 a.m. no one ever showed up and open the door. I proceeded to leave a note stating that I was very unhappy with the service and the communication because they could have left a note stating they will be opening late or we're out of town. I then received a phone call a week later from Teresa attempting to apologize but also telling me that someone told her they were there at 8:24. I told her that was invalid I was in the parking lot I also attempted to open the door no one was at the salon at all and I left at 8:36 all she did was apologize to me .

Ask for a trim, and cut too much. Stylist had a phone call while doing my hair. She stop doing my hair and kept talking. Than came back to doing my hair, didn't apologize or nothing. Had a blowout last one day and it cost $50.00, every where cost $ 30 and it last almost a week. Like that they are open on Sundays but really need more customer service. Really didn't like that she cut too much and didn't speak much English. I know is a Dominican salon but I like how they normally do my hair. I just would like to know if they understand me and I been trying to learn Spanish.

If i could i would give this place 10 stars my name is lala and this is the only place i will go to, have been coming to for a long time, wanna is the best you can tell she has a passion for hair and she loves what she does, raina which is her niece is amazing when she washes my hair she is so patient and kind, i had glue in my hair and she literally took it all out without no complaints medi is also amazing at what she does‼️Everybody is professional at what they do i love them love them and i will definitely be back again

This Salon Has a new Owner, it’s now called HAIR BAR EXPERTS! They provide amazing services for all hair types and styles. I used to be an old customer to the old owner of the building, and now I have been consistently coming to HAIR BAR EXPERTS for the past 6 months. I love the way they help me keep my hair healthy, hydrated and long lasting styles with quality assurance and products with literally the best prices for services. Google needs to update this information and put the new name for this address. Thank youuu

I have never had so many compliments on my hair, I asked for wash and set, Teresa advised me I would need a deep conditioner due to my hair being so brittle, the best part is Teresa didn't do anything her assistant did it all, what I really liked is I was there at 2pm 5 people were ahead of me 2 wraps, 3 coloring when i tell you Teresa and her assistant knocked it out i was out of there by 5 and the last girl was being done. I will diffentely be going once a month.

Horrible experience....asked for a specific style ...got something completely different...she kept my hair to idk what with it. She seemed more worried about keeping my hair (because it was so long) than actually focusing on my cut. She was done in in a little over 5 min and put in no effort at all. Even when asking her opinion nothing was really said. Ended up having to cut off all of my hair that started by my bottom and is now at my shoulders .

I was in the area for a wedding and visted this salon with my sister. As walk ins they serviced us and we were done in 2 1/2 hrs, a bit faster than the time we spend in NY. We have never gotten our hair so straight. The Florida heat and dancing the night away and our hair is still super straight and beautiful. Teresa was very friendly! Great job!

Teresa does a great job. Been here twice. First time I was blown away. $45 for wash, deep conditioning, blow out and trim. Second time was great too until she charged me $55 for wash and blow out. More money for less work. I want to come back but not sure if I will be ripped off again.

If you don't speak Spanish l advise you to seek a shop with English speaking stylist,Super slow also l was serviced after someone who arrived after me and she tries to cheat Me of a full service blow out by not using rollers but charges the full price.

I was a walk in today and early arrival at that but i was seen. Very nice woman. Friendly environment and I loved the outcome of my hair. I would have given 5 stars but the wait was too much at first but it all worked out. Definitely would recommend.

Very clean and cared for establishment. Had no problems communicating my concerns and worries, and she made sure that it was comfortable. Even with the wait I have no doubt i’ll be a regular ☺️♥️

Great service and they did a awesome job on my daughters hair straightening definitely taking her back again when its time.

Waited 2hours and 30 mins just to get a condition and blow out. 2 hours!!!! Honestly a joke. I wouldn’t recommend anything.
