Good for kids and moms, teens playing some "backyard football", and hikers, trail runners, and trail bikers. = = = I went to do some trail running, and boy did I ever get a bargain! First things: you park on the street; there's a small, mostly maintained playground at the entrance with toys for kids; and right next door (south) is a field where you could easily kick some soccer balls, throw around a football, etc. But the real fun: Just behind the playground is the entrance to the hiking/biking trails- there are a few short hiking trails at varying distances, but there are a lot of biking trails, and it can get confusing if you decide to go far back into the trails. There is a giant map at the entrance which is accurate; and most of the trails are clearly marked so it's easy to get back to the main trail head. Don't be deceived: The trailhead seems simple at first, before getting into the woods. But the whole trail is full of ups and downs, rocks and trees and roots, twists and turns, and far back in the trails there are creek crossings. It's kinda like, "How far you wanna go?" The further back you get, the more stuff there is. For the hiking, trail running, and trail biking enthusiast, this is your place.
Cute little park for the community, met some real lovely folks here. There are a couple tables, smaller play structure, sand pit, swings, and a play house. The park has no trash cans or bathrooms so - pack it in, pack it out!
The play area for the kids is really small and outdated not much to offer. The trails were also a bit confusing and some of the direction arrows on the trees were on the ground and falling off.
Beautiful short easy 2 mile loop hike so close to home. We went in early November when weather was pleasant and after some rain. So creek was flowing and vegetation was fresh and green
Needs a little better signage. I am typically held in high regard for my sense of direction but we got lot here for a little while. Other than that good hike close to town.
I must be a total amateur because WOW these bike trails are gnarly and pretty dangerous. I can appreciate them, but I won’t be riding them again anytime soon.
The trails aren't very well marked and it's not very clear where the trail is in some places. Other than that, I like the climbs and the descents.
I loved how hilly this trail is. Definitely what I have been looking for to increase the intensity of my hikes. I will be back!
The trails are great for hiking or mountain bikes! They have things separate for safety and a huge playground for the kids
Small neighborhood park on a hill, mostly a little playground with some trails
Quiet little neighborhood park. Nothing fancy. Good for younger kids.
Pretty cool hidden trails, not too bad even on a hot day
Good park to take kids to burn off energy.
Bring gps device for hiking.
A great place to party
