I need to write another review as things had changed. I will now give La Bijouterie Doucet a 4+ just because the manager of a Quebec store had reached out to me and helped me get the same ring, but new. I am totally satisficed as I have been wearing it for over 2 yrs and no diamond have fallen out. .. So I will encourage people to shop there. My husband bought me an anniversary ring about 2yrs ago. Gold with half circle of diamonds. Since the month after he bought me that ring, every 4-6 months, diamonds would fall off . I have gotten that ring fixed 3 times and last time I asked the store in Orleans to make sure that all is properly secure. I went on Friday, October 9th, 2015 to the mall in Place d'Orleans AGAIN as one diamond was lost AGAIN...the saleswomen told me that the guarantee had expired by 1 day and when she spoke to the manager that evening, the manager said I will be charged. HOW is it that I am charge when that ring has been defective since the beginning. Does it mean that DOUCET sells cheap jewelry. I GUESS So because They cannot or will not guarantee their product. They are charging me over 300$ dollars to repair the ring, almost the same price the ring was bought for. DO NOT try to see for the owner as I was told he is in Spain and cannot be reached and I asked the employee who was the other managers and she didn't know and she couldn't give me any information. It's kind of weird that NO ONE knows anything if it's a situation like now .. FOR US, this was the first time we had bought something more than 25$ and I would never buy there again and I will tell anyone that DOUCET JEWELLERS do not care for customers after the sells and that their jewelry are expensive and cheap. If I could have, with the way this has turned out, and with the way that I have been getting the rings repaired so often, I would rate the store as 1/2 star..just because the young lady who served me on Friday was sweet..

My sister came in here on June 13th, 2016 to buy a pair of earrings and wanted to get a pair that she could wear daily. Nothing too fancy, just a simple pair of earrings. She never mentioned how much she was willing to spend and 2 sales people one of which was a manger, were talking down to her and offering her some cheaper line of earrings that they thought she afford. She was more than offended because my sister lives a very high life and has a budget larger than their wages. It was completely uncalled for, the attitude that she received. It shouldn't matter how you dress or look, everyone should be treated equally and you never know just who you're actually serving.

Went to get watch battery changed and young girls tell me they dont know how and have to come back tmrw for the assist manager to do it ! (Also that a link needs to be removed to change battery .. um. No !!) What ?!?! Umm i spent alot of $ on a watch thatI cant gwt battery changed when I want ... I live across town this is the time i have to come get it done , the old manager Natasha wouldve had it done in 10 sec flat ! Pathetic that your employees dont have the knowledge to do the simplest of tasks, like change a watch battery !!

Just loved the quality of this piece I purchased at this location ❤❤❤ The lady that works here was just amazing she helped me find the perfect gift and was very helpful experienced and knew where everything was which made my shopping experience very relaxing!!! I would definitely recommend this store over the chain stores A lot of unique pieces plus better Quality and prices I couldn't believe it I will be back for more gifts for my wife and kids Thank You!

I do not recommend purchasing from Doucet. My fiancé purchased the engagement ring from this store, they gave him trouble for resizing. We then sent it back because the main diamond fell out after 6 days of wear and it came back with scratches/dents. We ended up returning the ring, which they could not do in store and had to be done online. We called back 2 weeks later to be told they forgot to issue the refund- it was then completed within 2 days.

Service is terrible, the ladies that work there don’t care for the customers that enters the store, no smile no acknowledgement. Plus the quality of their products is also terrible. They can’t even verify that the product they are selling has all of the diamonds before releasing it to the customers. I would not suggest anyone to buy from this place or even give this place a chance.

Même pas 3 semaines après avoir reçu ma bague elle commençais déjà à changer de couleur. La place qui avait couper pour agrandir la finition était mal faite. J’ai du me battre pour qu’il la répare. Je suis aller la chercher après les réparations et en arrivant à la maison je réalise que la pierre est craqué ce qui l’était pas avant que je leur laisse. Bijoux de mauvaise qualité!

My husband and I bought our wedding rings from this store and another one of their locations at Promenades St-Bruno in Québec. My husband’s ring size changed now, 6 years later, so we went back to see them and their service was impeccable! After 6 years, both of us still love our rings; no issues with quality whatsoever. We’d definitely recommend!

The service was amazing at store 54 at Place d’Orleans in Ottawa. Lili Kassai made us feel welcome and listened intently to all our questions. She went above and beyond.

My husband bought me a white gold bangle for a Anniversary gift. I only like yellow gold. I returned it for a yellow gold one with no problem. Sales lady was fantastic.

I was in yesterday the sales lady was so unsanitary and ignorant pushing sales with snot on her face no mask a weird face sheild I won't go back that's disgusting
