Dr. Vasquez is wonderful. A complete change from Uptown Physicians Group... his practice really has the feel of a true "family doctor." Recently one of my appointments was changed, due to Dr. Vasquez being out of town, and I had the chance to see Jennifer. She was just as amazing. They both listen to you and while they really have to "get you in and get you out" they make a point to legitimately listen to you and take your concerns to heart. I'm very disappointed that Dr. Vasquez has decided to go with a new business model ("Concierge Medicine") with a company called MEDVP. There are some great benefits to this, though... you can get same and next-day appointments, a tailored health care plan, etc. You've heard of some insurance plans being referred to as "the cadillac of health insurance"... well this makes his practice the "BMW of health care providers." Yes, it will be prettier and flashier, but you're going to pay out the wazzoo for it. Not only do you have to maintain your health care costs, but you'll have an additional 1,600.00+ annual fee just for the privilege of seeing him. Under MEDVP, they require that physicians see no more than 600 patients, so his client base is being "significantly reduce." Those who aren't in a position to pay an additional 1,600.00 for his services will unfortunately find themselves without this good doctor. Very saddened by his choice to affiliate with MEDVP, thus the three star rating. Purely speculation, but with such a reduced client base, I'm wondering about his office staff--are most of them going to be without jobs now since there won't be but a fraction of the work? :( I was told that Jennifer will be leaving his practice. I'm hoping I can find out where she is going and follow her. Nothing against Dr. Vasquez or the service I've received in the past. Just very disappointed in the direction that he has chosen, but in the end, I guess you have to be willing to pay for a certain level of care.

When I first moved to Dallas 12 years ago and searched for a doctor, Dr. Vasquez was highly recommended. Prior to Dr. Vasquez adopting the concierge concept, I was highly satisfied but it wasn’t difficult for me to decide in favor of following him into the concierge concept. I’m in a highly specialized service industry where I’m only compensated at point of sale but where my expertise directly affects the long term outcome of the buying decision that is usually driven by price, my customers seldom recognize my value beyond price. I recognize that price does not always relate to value and in the case of my Dr. choice, it was an easy decision to compensate him for his expertise and caring attitude that had always extended beyond the point of sale. I am a healthier person because of Dr. Vasquez before and after his adoption of the concierge model but since adoption of this model, there has been a very noticeable increase in my doctor’s level of service that is evident from his intake process up to and including my time with him on each visit.

I have received quality and excellent care with Dr Vasquez. I feel like family in all my interactions with him and his office staff. I highly recommend Dr Vasquez. Things I value in my interactions with him and his staff: -Turn around times for calling in prescriptions, labs results, making appointment. - He has great bedside manners. He is a great listener and values my opinions and questions -He is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about medicine. He loves what he does. - no wait time! they are on time and I am in and out of office. - However, I never feel rushed. In addition to my medical concern for the visit Dr Vasquez gets to know ME. (he knows that your everyday life (work, family, hobbies) affects your health and wants you to be successful at all) Thank you Dr Vasquez and staff for all that you do. Continue to be ROCKSTARS!

Expect the office staff to never return your calls. Whether it is for an appointment or a refill or any other issue. 80% of the time you get either a busy signal or the voicemail during business hours, and they do not return calls. When you do get someone on the phone who assures you they "will very soon", it still typically takes multiple conversations over multiple days/weeks to make sure that something simple like a refill or a fax to be sent in. I brought this to Dr. Vasquez's attention multiple times and nothing ever changed, if anything it's gotten worse. So after 10 years I have no excuses left for him. He's a nice man, but his office is simply not operating as it should. And his patients are the ones suffering for the utter mismanagement.

Dr. Vasquez carries himself with a surprising demeanor and has a bedside manner that surpasses most of the doctors I've encountered over the years. Not only does he care about the individual, he recalls specific life events, gives his undivided attention and above all treats you with respect, humility and care in every interaction. His approach is that of the olden days but with a flair on newer medical practices. He's a proponent of finding the quickest method to making you better without expensing your quality of life and does not hesitate to tell you exactly what's needed to secure your health; even when he disagrees with your thinking. Quality care with a highly regarded delivery, meets unpretentious and educated medical professional. A+

I have been a patient of Dr V’s for almost 20 years. You will not find a kinder more compassionate man than Dr Vasquez. Good people attract good people and that is represented in his staff. Each staff member has been there as long as i have been a patient, a sign he is good to his staff. Walking into his office is like walking into a family home. I do not live that close, im Frisco to Dallas, so that is a 45 min dive but when it comes to your health and the TLC we all seek in our providers, i for one will drive the miles. Dr Vasquez is always available to us no matter what the issue. He takes your calls and answers your questions promptly. No issue is too small for him to respond to. He follows up after wellness visits, procedures and lab work. My husband & I are both members. My husband always has questions of Dr V about the specialists he sees and their recommendations. He is always available to take his calls and address his concerns. His staff is friendly and personable. We feel like family to all of them and trust them complicitly with our health care.

Dr Vasquez is AMAZING! In addition to the healthcare knowledge that he has, it's the TIME he dedicates to not only my healthcare needs but also just genuinely connecting as a human being. I never feel rushed during my appointment - in fact, sometimes I feel as though I'm taking too much of his time. The rest of his staff - from front desk to nurses to checkout - are all just as friendly as him. It's always a fantastic experience, no matter why I'm there to see him. (And he's readily available for online/digital questions too!)

Dr. Vasquez takes the time to get to know you and truly cares about your health. He ordered tests to determine what had caused me moderate back pain for over 10 years and found a cyst on my spine. I saw several doctors, went to PT and to several chiropractors and Dr. Vasquez was the only one to recognize that there must be a deeper problem and he got approval for MRI and found the problem. I am eternally grateful for his persistence to get to the bottom of it, refer me to an excellent surgeon and orchestrate a cure for me.

Decent doctors, horribly run. Hard to get an appointment over the phone - sometimes you don't even get a person to pick up over the phone or have the ability to leave a voicemail. The wait once you get there is the worst part. It took and hour and half after my appointment to see the doctor for a total of 10 minutes. Either they have an awful ability to schedule appointments appropriately or they have no care for their patients time. Avoid at all costs - no quality of Doctor is worth the time.

Dr. Vasquez and his staff are AWESOME! I've been seeing Dr. Vasquez for many years. I'm usually early to my appointments and they've accommodated me same day if I needed to see the Doc immediately. Always spot on with diagnosing my challenges as well and giving me pointers on herbal ways to resolve my high cholesterol. Refers me to a specialist if needed. Outstanding health adviser and very attentive during my visits providing a high level of care. Thanks to Dr. Vasquez and his team!

I have been with Dr. Vasquez for almost 20 years. He is very professional, very loving and caring (like a friend or family member). He is always personable and make you smile. I feel comfortable in discussing any health or personal concerns. Dr. Vasquez staff is excellent. Everyone in the office is great to work with. I've seen by Dr. Jaime and Jennifer for about six years. Both were always sweet, courteous and professional on every visit. Both went out of their way, on more than one occasion, to help me when it was not their obligation to do so. Yes, things have changed ... it's a bummer... but that does NOT change the quality of service they have provided! It's unfair and unkind to use this forum to lash out. I call him : Dr. V. He deeply cared about my physical health, and, emotional well being. He took time to listen to what my illness is, and what bothers me. He always says, "....I am here for YOU." Just seeing his smile and compassion, make feel better, even when I was very ill. When I moved out of Dallas,TX , in July of 2007, Dr. V. said , " ...if you decide to move back to Dallas, I will be honored to be your Physician again."

I felt like a number and not a patient here. The office rarely answers the phone or returns calls. Several times, the office confirmed they had mailed important paperwork without doing so.I called back later and it had gotten "lost in the pile." Some of the staff is short in conversation and often unnecessarily rude. Office staff claims it is transgender-trained but has misgendered and used wrong name almost every visit.

Dr V is the GREATEST !!! I use to hate going to see the doc until I was introduced to Dr V. The best doc EVER !!! In and out appointments, last minute appointments, calls my meds in FAST !! Dr V CARES I feel like he’s my doctor but he’s a friend as well. If your looking for a genera doc look no further. Dr V is THE BEST IN THE MEDICAL FIELD NO QUESTION !!! I appreciate the personal quality care I receive from Dr Vasquez and his staff. I have been able to reach Dr Vasquez in the office or night and when he was out of town, on weekends or during the week at night. He understands the medical needs I have in dealing with having had survived Bulbar Polio in 1952 before the vaccine had arrived. He has a very caring nature and always seems to have time to listen.

Dr. Vasquez is so warm and caring. He personally calls me to let me know my lab results. He even noticed a low thyroid problem that no other doctor had told me about. I'm respectful of people's time and arrive at appointments when I'm scheduled. I had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours for Jennifer to see me and I've had similar experiences at previous appointments. She tried to blame it on her staff. I've not ever seen Dr. Vasquez so I don't know if he is more respectful towards his patients.

Office staff is very irresponsible. They never return calls and do not communicate when there is any kind of issue. I've talked to Dr. Vasquez about it before when it took weeks to accomplish a simple prescription refill. Now it's happened again and this time I will not be back.
