I absolutely love Dr. Rostami. She is the most caring, understanding, thorough doctor I have ever met. However, the one star is for the absolute rudest, most condescending, ignorant woman at the front desk. ( not Ellen she is awesome) , I have even seen this atrocious woman speak down to her. She really has Dr. Rostami fooled. Phone is rarely answered. One day while waiting for my appointment I literally seen her answer the phone say doctors office hold. Then turn to a young man who was working there at the time and start gossiping about his weekend!!!!!!! I usually have to drive up there to speak to someone because they never fax my Rx. LAZY , LAZY. LAZY.. always blaming the fax machine!!! The other doctor she has in there is a nightmare to deal with. She laughs at everything I say, doesn’t take anything seriously and barely speaks English. So the language barrier is frustrating. For example she didn’t believe me that I had a vaccine I KNOW I Had. She is argumentative and when the opticians were not working she laughed at me. Said I can get you in. Oh really??? Then Dr. R. Comes and and says the exact same thing I said and then she’s all like ohhh. I worked in health care for over 26 years and this disgusts me. I KNOW what I am talking about!! I really hope Dr. Rostami reads these. Blonde front receptionist needs to be gone! Like yesterday!!!! I have bitten my tongue for long enough. I am extremely sick today and dealing with her is giving me anxiety and anger.

Honestly one of the most unprofessional medical clinics in Hamilton. I never get a call back to book appointments and it’s a whole chase just to get a hold of someone. I on countless occasions have had to actually go in to book an appointment because the phone is never answered. Dr Rostamis assistant doctor, the only one anyone is able to get an appointment with. (Dr Rostami is never available) is also one of the most unprofessional doctors I have ever met, she laughs at everything I say, does not take what anyone says seriously and never sticks to her word. I have had to bring my husband in with me on multiple occasions just for her to actually listen to me. For someone with a medical license she seems highly uneducated, doing the bare minimum for her patients. Her personal views and opinions keep her from being a trustworthy medical professional worth anyone’s time. It’s a horribly run clinic that needs to be reviewed by a Canadian medical board. I immediately am removing myself as a patient from this clinic and recommending everyone to stay clear of it.

Dr. Rostami, herself is a really good doctor. She has had some health issues which makes her absent a lot of the times. Now, some of the doctors that are substitutes are good but not all. I also cannot stand the receptionist. The white blonde lady is the rudest receptionist I have ever come across. In person and on the phone she has the worst attitude and will belittle you. I have walked in a few times asking for appointments for if I could see someone available and for some reason she always has an attitude and something smart to say to you. She is very accusatory and I have watched her treat each patient that would come in, like absolute garbage. How do you employ someone in the health care profession who is rude and a bully? I will change my family doctor because of her. Really disappointed.

If you want to be ignored then this is the right place for you. You can leave as many voicemails as possible, they still will not return your calls. The receptionist gives me anxiety anytime I have to deal with her rude attitude. One day when I came for a walk in because they were not answering my phone calls. I called them while I was at there 3 times and it went to voicemail. It wasn't even busy. They are extremely rude. They have unintelligent doctors working there and when you bring up a health issue she laughs about it and says "its not serious' super unprofessional. This place used to be good when Dr. Rostami was working there but now that she is rarely ever there it has turned into a dumpster.

Went to see Dr. Obienu but never got to, and not going to try anymore after dealing with the receptionist. I didn't hear back for months after I submitted my new patient application, and when I did, the receptionist sounded frankly annoyed I wanted an appt. They only offered me two weekdays to come in, and when I did, I was told I couldn't have an appt because of an expired health card. When I said I wish they told me this before I came out, she laughed at me. It's not worth an appt having to deal with the large, old white female receptionist, and if you want to be a new patient, good luck.

I love love love Dr Rostami! She is the most caring Doctor I have ever seen. I would recommend her to anyone! Unfortunately she has hired a blond nightmare secretary who is rude and condescending. She shouldn't be working with the public...EVER! She doesn't answer the phone most of the time and when she dies she's not polite and is very abrupt. I've complained to the Dr Rostami personally but she still keeps this person on staff. Please fire her Dr Rostami...she is ruining your practice and ratings.

Since 2012, my family and I have been patients of Dr. Maryam Rostami. She is one of the best doctors in Hamilton, a very kind , caring and loving person. Even when we couldn't go to her office in person due to illness, she makes sure to call us and if possible orders the medicine to the pharmacy near our house. My family and I appreciate the efforts that Dr. Rostami and her hardworking staff do every day. Many Thanks to Dear DR. Rostami and the great staff.

Great doc I have had her and my mom and daughter see Dr. For a few years now and my baby!! They are helpful, empathetic and they actually listen to your Concerns when it comes to your health. I always tell dr. She’s the best she knows that already but I have been speaking with Alisha the past couple days and she is the most empathetic and best listener thank you. I am deali With a lot and thank you for everything!! All the stars to you and all the staff

I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE MET SUCH RUDE STAFF. The blonde receptionist thinks she can be rude to every patient. I have heard her raise her tone and become super rude on the phone on multiple occasions. She has no sympathy for anyone. I feel bad for all the elderly patients that have to deal with her nasty attitude and her anger issues. Someone like that should not be working in health care.

THE WORST! They have the rudest receptionist that will LITERALLY argue with every single patient. If you work in health care you need to be kind and patient but she will talk down to you, yell at you. Dr. Rostami on the other hand used to be a great doctor but now she does not have time for her patients and they just have random doctors and students there that know nothing.

They never pick up the phone to book appointments. When you leave a detailed voicemail such as booking an appointment, then they never get back to you. I’ve left 2 or 3 voicemails in the past 2 weeks and still haven’t seen the doctor. i’ve had not had a good experience in the past 7-8 years.

7 years of suffering, and not one specialist appointment. No testing. No calls back. They are negligent in their duties to their patients. If I don't get help soon I will be contacting a lawyer. I'd find a new Dr but that's not easy and time consuming.
