"I have been Dr"
In August 2011, I moved to Charlotte, NC, where I stayed for one (1) year. During that year, I contracted one of the worst colds I have ever had. One of my co-workers recommended I go to see Dr. Kapadia for examination. Dr. Kapadia examined me thoroughly and became very concerned with the amount of congestion she heard in my lungs. She recommended that I be hospitalized and wanted to call an ambulance to transport me but I remarked that I was on my lunch break, had just started work on a new job, and would follow her orders to the letter if she would just not call an ambulance. She agreed to my terms, reluctantly, but with prescribed medication and follow-up within one week. I agreed and immediately had the prescriptions filled. Dr. Kapadia was the kind of physician who really cared and the medications she prescribed for me truly worked. I followed up with her that following week and she said that my lung capacity had great improvement but that I need to finish the prednisone, antibiotics and continue taking the Cheritussin cough medication. I have since moved back to Atlanta and the only thing I regret about moving is having to leave the care of such a dedicated doctor of medicine. I will never forget you, Dr. Kapadia. I believe you saved my life and I will forever be grateful for your bedside manner, your knowledge of medicine and concise diagnosis and your kindness. Respectfully and sincerely submitted, Donna Roberts
Dr. Kapadia has been the worst doctor. After gaslighting, devaluing, and dismissing me and my symptoms, she then said she wouldn’t bother to do testing. She has significant racism and weight bias. She needs serious coaching and mindset shift in order to “do no harm”, as well as education and experience to be a knowledgeable and safe physician. It is scary to have doctors like her.
I have been with Dr Kapadia for over 10 years now. I just love her and her diagnostic skills, great service, always accommodating and very friendly. She diagnosed my thyroid issue right away just by looking at me, which I have been suffering with over 2 years post pregnancy. I highly recommend her as your primary physician in Charlotte area.
Dr. Kapadia, please educate yourself on more chronic conditions and stop gaslighting and shaming patients. You say you put off tests because of the pandemic, which has made my illness progress rapidly. I’m just regretful I didn’t find a new doctor sooner. Nobody should be treated the way you treat people.
I have been Dr. Kapadia's patient for the last three years. My experience with her has been very good. She listens carefully and patiently about the problem and takes thoughtful and accurate decisions. She is very empathetic, caring and compassionate. I highly recommend her as an excellent doctor.
Dr. Kapadia is wonderful. She was so patient, understanding and was so considerate. She did not rush at all and spoke with me very politely. I would highly recommend her.
An excellent doctor who really cares about the entire person, mind, body and soul. I have been a patient of Dr. Kapadia for over 13 wonderful years.
She's Awesome!
