My bloodwork indicates that, at the very least, I should be referred to a specialist. Dr. Casalman diagnosed me with a fat a$$. I'm not even "obese" on the bs BMI scale. She didn't even want a follow-up blood draw to make sure the numbers, which are 50% higher (or more) than what they should actually be, you know, return to normal. Just keep eating my greenbeans and work out...which is my current lifestyle...soooooo maybe something else is wrong. By the way, the need for a referral isn't according to me, it's according to the second and third opinions I sought out. The looks of horror when the second and third opinions looked at my blood work and asked me to repeat Dr. Casalman's diagnosis will forever be burned into my memory. The diagnosis is so bad, I'm not even sure this is a real doctor's office. Maybe it's a front or something. I never see other patients and the paper-only system is so antiquated that it screams, "fake doctor's office." Clearly, no one is really practicing medicine here anymore. Idk man, I know Nevada has bad doctors, but stuff like this makes me hope they raise that med Mal damages bar up to the $3.5 mil mark.

My wife went her first time. Dr. Casalman sent her for mammograms to Desert Radiology. We have Cigna insurance that's why we choose Caselman. We pay 500 dollars every month for health care with 0 $ cost prevent care. (As mammograms etc) When she got there to DR ,they asked her health insurance card. They did not say anything, made the mammograms. 5 days later we got 600$ bill from Cigna, explaining Desert Radiology outside of the network. If they would warning her about they out of network, could choose different options as STEINBERG DIAGNOSTICS etc. for ZERO cost. BE AWARE THESE SCAMMERS! THEY WORK TOGETHER TO RIP YOU OFF!!!! My first appointment with this doctor I was hopeful I found someone to finally help me, I was however very wrong unfortunately. It has been a waste of copays to come into her office to say she can’t help me in any way. I wanted to follow up with her after two urgent care visits due to eye swelling and body rashes and was turned away at my appointment time because I did not have my records stating that I was treated twice with steriods. Even with the prescription name they wouldn’t see me. Maybe if you have an ear infection this doctor would be for you.

I honestly shouldn’t be surprised after reading the reviews. I scheduled a new patient appointment 2 months out for my daughter who’s in college and a packed schedule for 2:30. We arrive on time and they somehow say her appointment was at 10:30am which I never would have scheduled. They tell me she would be late anyway because new patients have to be there 30 minutes early. She couldn’t even see the Dr. They said they can reschedule another 2 months out. Ridiculous! The service staff obviously needs better training.

Good healthcare seems hard to find in Vegas. I was hopeful with Dr. Casalman, but unless it is something basic like a cough or sore throat (which there is always a several day waiting period for an open appointment), you will be referred to another office every single time. I know that sometimes a specialist is required, but the amount of times I have been told "sorry can't do anything for you, here is who I recommend you see" makes me wonder why I go here in the first place.

Dr Casalman is my wife's Doctor and she loves her but Decatur Family Practice employee's are rude and I called three times to refill a prescription each time they say they will call back in 48-72 hours and they don't call then you have to leave another message and wait three days again they don't seem to care about there patients.As a result we are forced to change Doctor's I do not recommend this office.

Dr. Stephanie casalman is only great when you’re coming in and paying her big money with your insurance. Besides that, when you need help in any other possible way, her and her staff are useless. She does not care about people, she cares about the money, I suggest going elsewhere for medical help.

Both my husband and I are patients of Dr Casalman and love her. She has been very understanding and has treated me extremely well and professional. I have a very rare neurological disease and she has been wonderful and caring for both my husband and I.

Personally, I don't care for her bedside manner, but I'm sure she's fine for your basic needs.
