Roadworthy not given due to their statement that front brake pads were at 1mm. Took car to Honda service centre, observed the removal of all 4 brake pads. All of them had a minimum of 4mm remaining, which is very adequate and certainly not a trigger to deny a roadworthy certificate. I had the pads changed over anyway, as I wasn't certain that presenting the facts to them would result in the issue of a roadworthy certificate as they may have become defensive in the light of proven incompetence. The whole exercise unnecessarily cost me $295. I'm not happy, and I am certainly not recommending them because of this. The person responsible was Shaun. He was pleasant, but clearly uneasy when confronted with the physical evidence. Dromana Roadworthy & Service Centre needs to be more diligent and attentive in its assessment of technical issues. I'm not seeking financial compensation for this, but I would definitely like to see an increase in competence in this organisation. They lost one customer today.

We won’t be going back here. We feel they have declined in recent years. The first car services they did were good and our car ran fairly well. But after a few years the workers here seemed to change a bit and the quality of service seemed to slowly decline. Our last service here was simply awful. Several key things that we wanted done to the car weren’t done much to our horror and the car ran awfully rough afterwards. We ended up taking the car to another mechanic who was critical of the previous service and showed us the state of our unreplaced spark plugs and a host of other troubling things. The state of the cabin filter in the car, for example, was horrific - it was filthy - and it looked like it had been pulled out and simply stuffed back in and crumpled. This sort of sloppy work was enough for us. You want to trust your car servicing place from a safety, reliability and trustworthiness standpoint and we feel we can no longer trust them to service our vehicle properly here.

These guys know nothing about european cars.never leave your car with them.I left my audi in dromana service centre for roadworthy certificate and they agreed to fix everything in the car specially turbocharger. But they end up saying that fixed everything but can’t fix the turbocharger which was the main issue. These guys made a bill of 2200 dollars for nothing . I had to pay that money for nothing. Still hasn’t got the roadworthy certificate. After that i went to another mechanic . He found my car’s coolant box and radiator broken which was ok before i left the car in dromana service center. So plz think ten times before you leave your car in dromana service centre . It hurts when you get nothing after spending around 2000 dollars on your car.

great place to take your car if your female or even male and not very mechanical minded, the guys explained everything clearly and even showed me photos and gave me the part that was replaced and explained how it should of worked and how it failed. I was quoted a price before any work had commenced and when i picked up the car i was told it was cheaper then quoted ( really i wouldnt of known but thats how honest these guys are). Thank you steve and Ben and vicky (who went out of her way to help me organise how i was going to get to work etc while they had me car) , and thank you to the young apprentice who took me to work and picked me up again at the end of the day ,very polite lovely young man... an asset to your company.

I have have been in for 4 Motocycle RWC's at the Dromana Service Centre. The first was defected on tyres which a Honda dealer said where still very legal when he replaced them. The second was defected on a legal tyre yet again, and some minor items, one missing pop rivet in the muffler and similar things, just silly stuff. The third was a near new scooter, no issues. The last was a 25 year old bike. they wanted the exhaust changed, the manufacturer states the item is 100% legal. The short story is if the bike is new they are fine. If it's an older bike don't wast your time and money like I did. so they are 1 out of 4. will not use again.

I first found these guys when I wanted a roadworthy certificate for my motorcycle, as it is not easy to find a rwc place on the Mornington Peninsula and they seemed good, then I needed a second opinion for an expensive repair quote from BMW for one of my cars. They correctly identified the issue and did the job for a third of the original quote. I now get most of my vehicles serviced here, as they are very honest and straightforward. Any unexpected costs are always reported before they go ahead with work needed, so no nasty surprises when you come to pay. Also pleased with their use of quality parts e.g. Bosch wipers, Penrite oil, etc.

Couldn’t recommend these guys any higher! Easy and friendly to deal with from booking in through to pick up. Thoroughly checked over my car and reported back before starting any work and didn’t try to rip me off for anything that it “needed” as a lot of places do but instead made appropriate recommendations and let me decide. Very efficient work! Having the courtesy car was an added bonus and to top it off I picked up my car immaculately clean and fixed a bit of cosmetic issues at no extra charge. Thanks again, will be back!

Vicky the receptionist was rude to me. Admittedly i did contact her 3 times in one day to arrange a tike for my partner to bring her car from frankston but her attitude and subsequent hanging up the phone on me, was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. To make it worse when i called back Steve picked up the phone amd said Vicky said i had sworn at her. Absolutely false and quite frankly disgusting. Avoid this place. I was happy paying a premium for work but not now!

Steve and the team are fantastic to deal with and have serviced my car's for many years now. They're great to deal with, completely honest, always reasonably priced and even have loan car's available. They have fitted my car in to get emergency works done even when they're fully booked so I can't thank them enough.

Again another superb service from these guys! I had to get a major repair done to my car and everything went great!! Although the team was fully booked, they managed to take time and undersdand my needs and how important was to me to get me back on the road asap. THANKYOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK …

Wouldn't recommend getting a rwc for motorcycles here because they won't work on bikes so if there's a issue (even a reflector) it will fail and you will need another mechanic so it's easier to go to a different place .They might be good for cars but definitely not for bikes.

I was stuck at Vicroads with new plates that didn't fit my car, came down and asked these guys if they could help me out drilling them & even though I offered, they said not to worry about charging them for their time. Such kind & friendly people!

While staying in San Remo, my family were driving to Dromana for the day. Just before our destination we had an issue come up with our car. We came here and were given fantastic, quick service and were on our way in no time! Highly Recommended!

I went for a roadworthy. Always had the car serviced by Repco in Mornington. Roadworthy quote was ridiculous and I felt conned. Ended up getting one done interstate where the vehicle was going, and it was over a thousand dollars cheaper.
