absolutely terrible place. first a member of staff the skinny man with the beard. quite a disgusting man. you will not meet a more uneducated, vile, arrogant, and condescending man. i was waiting in line and a young British lady was in front of me trying to make a large order. she was unsure of some of the items such as drinks and chips that came with some meals, and was served by this member of staff. he tried to make things as hard as possible for this lady, was constantly condescending to her, and even though she was bubbly and polite he was always rude back. there were 2 other members of staff there, and you could tell they were also uncomfortable with this man's behaviour. they kept looking over and looking away embarrassed. one was a skinny man clean shaven another was a fatter man in the back. all in their 40's-50's. the arrogance of this man shows his lack of education. the food. again disgusting. the chips. i waited 10 mins for a kebab. all this time there were chips in the tray getting cold, that had already been cooked. after my kebab was wrapped i was given these same chips. i asked if they would be cold now and was told they won't be and they were wrapped and put away before anything else could be said. there are other reviews about this man's behaviour and the chips served and i have to say they are right. the kebab meat was cold and very fatty, the wrap is NOT a nan. it is a thin asda smart price tortilla type wrap. the food could be fixed with some effort of actually trying to produce good food. the issue is the man who is probably the owner/manager. he aims to hurt people, and has no care if the food is good or not. i think it is is a form of racism to British people, the man is an Arab immigrant and has a superiority complex against others. this is merely a sign of his own lack of education, especially needing to bully a female customer who was trying to work out what she needed to order. update a year on: absolutely vile. they are the miserly ones who turn the donner heater off. so when u walk in and order one they turn it on for 5 mins, shave it and serve it to you. it's lukewarm at best, and just full of chewy greasy cold fat that hasn't dripped away. like someone else mentioned., chips are cooked a long time before served. simply dumped in the fryer again for 2 mins to 'reheat' and then served to you as fresh. the owners are miserly. they know they serve bad food, but do so intentionally and with a laugh. this is because they feel caucasians in this country will eat any 'trash', especially if drunk. vile food. vile people.

Bias account: First had my double peri burger delight in 2011, have been going ever since. The Peri chicken outclasses NEARLY every other Peri Peri chain chain in Manchester bar Rochdale's Chunky Chicken & Nandos. The portion size is a real manly portion. Pizza is surprisingly amazing from here. Chips, nuggets, wings & other fried derivatives are spot on. Never had a calzone. Salad price is a joke. Certain staff are friendly. Can be delays on order due to the amount of people ordering. Can eat inside with around 15 people there. I wouldn't say it's a place you would travel for an out of towner like me going to International in Rochdale, Steak bus/plane in Bolton, Big Moes in London, Bumbas grill in Rossendale or JUNAIDS in Birmingham! However, if you are in Manchester, it is a must. Thumbs up for Drumstick for applying manly grilled portions like Food Box.

Absolutely disgusting. We ordered 2 peri peri chicken burger meals. We were unable to even pick up the burgers because they were swimming in grease and water in the tray, the 'peri peri' rice was just a cheap golden rice half cooked and hard in a small tub and the chips were cold. The bottom of the barm was a soggy mess and when we contacted drumstick they said it was just sauce. While I was complaining the person I spoke to asked 'what do you expect us to do?' so I said what would you normally do in these situations and he replied 'well I'd send you another but you'll only moan about that!' complete waste of £20 and the customer service was just as terrible as the food.

today IN THE AFTERNOON, THIS DELIVERY WAS NOT AT ALL AT HUMAN EXPECTION. iT WAS DRY MEAT, YOU CAN TELL THEY do not CHANGE THE OIL WHEN THEY COOK. they MISSED HALF OF MY ORDER AND THEN WHEN YOU CALL THEM. THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO REPLY CHECK YOUR ORDER PROPERLY. the FOOD THEY RESENT CAME COLD AND WENT STRAIGHT IN THE BIN. chips SOGGY AND THE RICE WAS NOT MADE FOR EATING. clearly FOOD FROM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT REHETAED IN out dated OIL. Do not go to this place unless you want to get ill. This is not worth paying and even ordering at all. This place needs to close down and also the hygiene is not acceptable. Please be careful.

If I could I will give zero star for this place. Food was disgusting. The chicken we ordered seems expired. Taste was awful and we couldn’t finish eating the order. Chicken wings were cooked maybe a month ago and stored in the freezer for long time, we hope it’s not poisonous as we try to eat one piece before we returned to the restaurant. So good in this place are not fresh as well as tasteless. I have never had such a bad experience with restaurants like this place, and I will never recommend it to anyone.

I hope the owners get to see this review because they genuinely deserve the praise. We were on a visit from out of town, attending an event. We happened to stumble across Drumstick. What an amazing little gem that we found. We both ate the peri peri chicken and decided to eat inside. The meals were presented on plates to our surprise and the food was superb. They were such nice folks too. 10/10. It was do good we went back the next day!

Absolutely terrible job and food. I ordered a turkey chicken and they served it on a terrible shape and it’s cold and no meet on it. It’s all salad… the point is I didn’t ask for delivery and I but it myself there but they still did this to me. I wasn’t expecting they’re such a u terrible shop. This is the terrible take away ever I went to and I’m not recommending this to you guys. I gave them a call and they weren’t responsible

they didn't think about costumer service , disgusting manner the thin guy with the grown beard had, he was so cheeky liar ,he tried to re fry the already fried and sat on the tray chips.i said i want fresh chips but aggressively he goes they are fresh just half an hour been there... finally i managed to get my money back and left this dodgy takeaway forever.

I've had an awful experience my food came 15 minutes late and my chicken burger was hard and tasteless also the cheeseburger was burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside my chips was not cooked or were either really burnt all in all will never be ordering from there again and definitely will not recommend to anyone.

Tasty chicken, extensive menu for all your chicken culinary requirements. Good value for money. Our new Friday lunchtime go-to. Online menu could do with a bit of work - doesn't do the place justice, find it mixed up/illogical/hard work find what they actually do/what you want tbh. Menu board in shop much better!

Absolutely disgusting, asked for chicken wings, only because I seen them supposedly ready on the grill shelf, but no he went to the back and got 4 , dropped them in a deep fryer, wasn’t even hot oil, needs closing down

I’m sorry but this is by far the worst fried chicken I have ever tasted well I couldn’t taste it there is no flavour at all just tastes like burnt skin and dry chicken i couldn’t eat it I also had some wings witch were soggy but had a little taste on them really poor needs major improvement

One of the worst food I've ever had. Really poor food quality.The chicken was flavorless, oily ,dry and not eatable. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price. You should not call yourself a takeaway. I would NEVER tell anyone to eat here. Nothing was fresh.

Got chicken and chips, chicken is cooked in old burnt out oil so wasn't nice at all, maybe if they changed their cooking oil more than 3 times a year it might be nice, money down the drain
