I'm a regular at the pharmacy and the general store...I went there to buy eggs and soda ...eggs were 2 for 6...I get charged 5.39 twice for the eggs ...so I tell her nicely that the eggs were 2 for 6. ...she starts talking to me ...I can't understand anything she's saying because she has a heavy Indian accent, she has a cloth mask and there is a plastic divider between her and myself...then told her to please cancel the order...she makes me put in my phone number 3 or 4 times..then finally she gives me the receipt stating that the order was canceled...she tells me to put my number in again...I tell her ...I canceled the order for a reason...the line is long but I know not to come to your window next time...have a nice day...it took 45 minutes for this transaction...a nightmare..please every one deserves to work...but if a person is incompetent in a way where they cannot do a task put them to do something else like to stock or clean or whatever...itwas terrible....I will walk 5 minutes more but I will go to the one on Kissena boulevard from now on

The WORST Walgreen I’ve ever seen! I’d give negative 5 stars if this is an option. The staff members were rude and lacked respect for customers! I was buying some groceries, and starburst candy for my kids. the price tag of the candy was wrong. At cashier it shows 2 for $4.5, while the tag shows 3 for $3. I pointed out the incorrect price tag to the cashier, who then verified and removed the tag since the candy was located next to the cashier. Following this, she conversed with another woman, possibly a senior staff member or manager. However, this lady promptly accused us of tampering with the price tag, displaying a disrespectful attitude with eye-rolling and offensive language. This incident left me offended, especially considering there are surveillance cameras above the cashier area, yet she blamed us without conducting any investigation. While I can't speak for their interactions with other customers, in my situation, the staff members were notably rude and offensive.

This lady called Denise B who worked at this DR was extremely rude and patient-less to help us process a return and refund. Two out of 12 fish oil that we’ve ordered online came broken so we wanted to returned them. But she was just unbelievably rude and at one point she even yelled at us. She was unprofessional as well as she was talking to someone else on phone the entire time while she’s supposed to be helping us. This resulted in an unexpected longer wait time also since she couldn’t locate our order due to incompetence. We had to enter our phone number for like 15 times until she can finally figure out where to look for the phone number, of course, with the help from her colleagues (we’d have appreciated it if she’d have asked her colleagues from the beginning). Anyways, we were treated unmanly for no reason by this lady and it was just unpleasant and unbelievable that we’d have to go through this by returning. What’s wrong with Walgreenand DR??

This rating isn't for the pharmacy because the people in the pharmacy itself is amazing and great and they're helpful. 2 stars to the horrible customer service provided at the cash registers and beauty service. Except for the representative that helped me when I needed their help to unlock the items I needed to buy. There is such high turn over there's a new person working there that's not trained and lost and the manager is just over it and doesn't want to deal with the customer. I get it customer service sucks but they decided to take this job so gotta do the job. This is why I tend to not go in and just get why I need delivered. Don't go here for customer service just get your items and go it'll save you a lot of frustration or go to the supermarkets in the area. But again the pharmacy are fantastic so get your prescription here and have them delivered.

I went to duane reade to pick up stuff I bought in zara for the first time. Of coarse I got an email saying my package was ready to be picked up at duane reade, she was wearing her hijab and asked for my tracking number. She said she didn't have the number I showed her. I showed her what I was tracking with her number. Still, she said I had the wrong number. She barely came to my package and asked me to show my ID in a very unkind voice. In the meantime, I checked the tracking number on the package. It was the same number I showed her. Does she want to work or not? I was offended by the unfriendly service so I asked her to show me her name. Showing it like a swish, she ran away. If you can't see if the number is correct or not, ask to show it properly or do your job straight away.

Good place to shop when items are on sale, I've been using their Pharmacy for over 20yrs. and a few of the same pharmacy techs.and pharmacists are still there. That's good for a long time customer like myself and others. They're professional, courteous and confidential with handling your medications because they know your history. The only donwside with this dept. is once Walgreens took over, they changed the 24hr. pharmacy to close at 10pm. A mistake on the part of Walgreens, for a busy downtown flushing location. Some customers coming home or going to work after 10pm can't pick-up or drop-off presciptions, not convenient at all when your a long time comsumer like myself. Fix it back to a 24hr. pharmacy and all will be good.

The Worst service ever. I did the same day delivery pick up through the app, I went because my pick up was ready and they said they didn't have my order and told me to come the next day, they didnt even bother looking for it. I get same day delivery and they tell me to come the next day, they also wasted 30 mins of my time. I go the next day, same thing happens saying they don't have my package. I wait 40 mins and turns out my item was in a ripped brown bag which they also pre charged me for. SO they get the item and instead of giving it to me they tale another 20 mins asking the manager what to do with my stuff. So my package was there the day before but they wasted my time and didn't eve look for it.

Went there yesterday and noticed there was a lost child wondering the store. Before I could ask if she needed help, a woman approached her to do the same. She was brought to a worker and this worker bombarded this little 5 year old girl with condescending remarks and useless questions. “Where is your parent?”- if she knew that this situation wouldn’t be a thing. “You shouldn’t have wondered off that way you still would be with your parents”- who in the hell would talk to a 5 year old like that?? She was clearly scared because she’s LOST?!? Why not help her instead of reprimanding her? Do you not have protocol when it comes to lost children? Wild.

I am not American, I am foreign and I come to New York due my job and I like so much each place here in USA but I arrived to my hotel late in the night and I went out looking for some beer to drink in my room. I could find open this store and my sorprende was they only sell beer to American people, no matter if you have your ID, Driver License or Passport. They didn’t sell me just because I am not American. I requested to talk with the manager and he only told me that they request the ID to verify if is American or no. And do you know what? The cashier guy is Indian. Some people need to improve. So crazy.

I bought a bundle of A4 paper, a bag floss picks, a hand sanitizer, and cuticle oil for daily needs, but today I have a tea bad experience in this area with left side cashier. After I paid my items, she asked me do I need a bag, I said, no. I have a book bag with a plenty of space, but she rush me out from the register, so I have to took all of stuffs and I don’t have third hand to help me grasp those item, I was trying to put those things in my back bag, and I drop my phone at the same time. I know it is not her fault, but if she let me put all the items in my back bag, my screen won’t be cracked.

Brenden G needs to go. All the other cashiers are amazing and never treated me badly (I go here often). First time seeing this man and I never want to see him again. Doesn’t know what price matching is and couldn’t even bag all my stuff bc he “couldn’t reach it”… okay could’ve given me the bag and I would’ve done it myself instead of throwing some of my merchandise carelessly into the bag and saying that. If you don’t like you job, then find a new one. I work at retail and at least I know the bare minimum of being a decent human being.

A certain cashier showed great disrespect towards the customer. 08/29/2023 12:10AM, I picked up a small box of special potato chips and asked the cashier for the price. The cashier said it is $7. I laughed at the price, and then the cashier said, "you want it for free, ugh?" EXM? First of all, I paid every single time, and it's even more unimaginable to come out of a cashier's mouth like this. Come on, are you a millionaire? Laugh at a customer? We are both low paying hard work people, why should you be so disrespectful to others?

When I was checking the chips in the cornor with one bowl of instant nodle in my hand just now, the security immediately moved closely to the door where I stood and started to watch me. To be honest, he is a good worker, but I felt really offended. The instant noodle is just 2 dollars something. I didn't look like that kind poor person when I wear my grey scrub. Maybe I am too sensitive, but I still think that is not right. ** the cashier is very patient and nice person.

I would pay Brendon G to not work there if I was Duane reade. He threw things into the bag he didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. I asked if they priced match, I understand if you guys don’t but he said yes and then I showed him something from target and he said that’s not Duane reade. Like I’m pretty sure you understood Brendon maybe human functioning is not your strong suit. I honestly thought he was sleeping when I got to the register. 07.03.22 1017 pm.

I was just leaving (25,11,2019 19:42) There is an Indian woman (maybe) in the cashier. I hope you see this comment. She looks so unhappy. When I tried to pay with my card and placed it in the wrong place. She gave a scornful sound and say impatiently "insert". Well my card is wireless and you should be nicer. Someday someone will do the same to you. Karma is a hitch. No fruit in the supermarket and have to buy in another place.

I think this place could be better not the worst experience is really just 50/50 some workers are super sweet while some a just straight up nasty and rude I go here occasionally to but kiss press on nails or just for a fast run for a party snack and all that but some workers need to go one of them got annoyed at me because i didn't want to pay 5 cents for a bag and rushed me to leave her lane so she could take someone else

No one in beauty section to unlock stuffs for me. I just wanted a nail clipper and ended just waiting there. Thanks for the worker who helped me to get nail clipper, that person was not even from the customer service. He just wanted to help me out. (I pressed on the customer service button for three times, it only worked for one time and I was still waiting. The person who is responsible for customer service never came)

I reported a racist security guard and it resulted in me being banned from the store and accused of threatening a minor . I’d never do that , A lot of people who suffer from mental health wander around that area and unfortunately most of them are African Americans so they profile all African American men. Please be cared if your black and shopping at that location. It’s flat out racist. Top to bottom

Pretty good and fast if Im honest. Its mostly clean except the back where they leave some boxes with gallons of water and such. But its mostly clean. The staff as usually very nice and helpful. One thing is that some of the prices for things are a bit high and duane reade points don't really count as much as they used to. So just have that in mind. Overall, a pretty good store.

Indian man is so bad, when I was leaving he said he saw me taking something in my bag and wanted to check my bag, I told him to check the surveillance, get the manager, he didn't do that, kept checking my bag, I didn't take anything, I said call the police, he wanted me to leave, very very angry! The manager can check the cameras, and I can get a lawyer to Sue you for insult!

This is the WORST Duane Reade in the world. The workers there are slow as molasses! I had to do a FedEx shipment there and they don’t even have a separate line for that. You have to wait on the regular line and when you finally reach the register, the cashier has no idea what they are doing. Avoid!

I had dropped off a package worth over $1000 with them, and they lost the package. While the package position is remaining at the store, they say fedex have picked up the package. I have to call fedex back and forth just to know where is the package. Until now my package is no where to be seen.

The line is always very long. Also do not go shopping in the middle of the night unless you want to be looked at like a thief, have the cops follow you. The white lady worker with blonde hair is very nasty and rude if you say excuse me to her. It was a horrible and very unnerving experience.

Be aware if you want to drop FedEx package here, they “lost” my iphone 13 pro package. Tracking status remain "Dropped off at FedEx OnSite-DUANE READE 14438 Package received after final location pickup has occurred. Scheduled for pickup next business day." and will never be updated anymore.

It's a good store to get your goods and medicines! Please stock more Foster's Oil Cans. I know you sell them but they go really fast and you're usually out of stock. I'd frequent you every day if you stocked this item more. If it is an item high in demand, why not stock more of it?

Went to drop off a package for fedex to return to the store and apparently they don’t accept packages without the return label already fixed on the package. They won’t scan the QR code for you so make sure y’all print out the return label and tape it on the box yourself.

They stole $200 from my UHC OTC. They rung me up, charged me $200 but refused to give me items I needed because their system issues. I lost $200 worth of items I needed. The workers here are incompetent. Shame on them for stealing from those in need. Crooks! Thieves!!

Worst experience with fedex dropoff. Dropped off package, and they lose my package, saying fedex have my package when clearly the tracking is stated that the package is still there. Manager doesn't even want to look for the package claiming its a waste of time.

This pharmacy is the closest you can find near the Flushing 7 line. It has two floors and you can get the best view of Flushing Street here. I came here to grab some gift cards, and they do sell many makeup foundations on the second floor.
