Dr Panter is hands-down the best and most caring primary care doctor I could have ever asked for or been given in my entire life every single time I see him I'm not just another patient number to him he always asks how I'm doing how's the last medication doing I came to him during a very difficult time in my life where some brutal things that happened with my ex and he took such good care of me and made sure that I was okay and ever since then every single time I see him he says Liz are you okay do you need to talk about anything you know I'm here what doctor does that most doctors are in and out here are your medications. whenever know he comes in he asked me how I'm doing he's literally remembers every single thing we talked about before I don't have to remind him of anything this doctor is specifically on point he genuinely cares and with me having lupus and trigeminal neuralgia and all the other things I have going on most doctors have told me no you're too complicated I'm not going to deal with you and I brought all that I brought up MRIs in all my previous cts and my surgical history and stop before finishing and going to read all this stuff and tell me no he cant take me on as a patient, that's not what happened he said Liz I know it's going to be complicated but if you let me I know that I can get you better and that's exactly what he's done and I appreciate that more than I could ever appreciate anything in a doctor he is the absolute best and I'm so grateful that I found him he's so personable he genuinely cares it's never in and out and he's always asking me and making sure that I am actually you know mentally and physically okay most doctors won't do that they're just in and out and you're just another number to them and the quicker they see you the more patients they can see it is not like that with him at all I strongly recommend that if you've had a bad experience with primary care that you give John Panter a call and prove me right because I don't think anybody could ever say anything bad about this man he has changed my whole outlook on doctors because all it takes is one good doctor to care and not convince you that it's all in your head and every single thing I told him he was like yes yes and I had the information to back it up he never said no it's in your head or anything wrong he just said yes I believe you I believe you and I will help you with any way I possibly can I've never in the history of living in Albuquerque have had someone care so much and every time I'm giving any new medication or anyting he or his ma called me like that's that's above and beyond so 10 + Stars to this wonderful doctor dr. John Panter
I had an appointment for mid October set up since last year to get labs done. I had some other things come up and made an appointment for today 9/28. I called a week ahead of time and told them I needed a yearly physical so can I just combine everything into one appointment? The person on the phone said yes but you need to get your blood drawn in the next couple of days, no problem got my blood drawn the next day. She says I'll cancel your other appointment ok? I said ok if you're sure I can get it all done in by appointment coming up. She said yes, no problem. I go to my appointment today and they want to charge me $40 copay. I said this is for an annual physical exam - should be no copay. The guy says it's a short appointment (30 mins) so we can't do a physical today. I said I worked this all out last week over the phone. I asked when I could get a physical exam and the next opening was almost 4 weeks away. The other appointment that was cancelled was no longer available. I've seen Brent the PA once and he seemed competent and very personable so I thought I'd keep going to this office. Since they messed up my appointment I need to find another doctor so I can get a physical soon rather than having to wait another month. The medical staff may be good but I certainly don't recommend dealing with the scheduling staff. Update: The next day I received a call from a very nice lady. She apologized and said she could schedule me for an appointment the next day. I said that'd be great. The next day my insurance contacted me and said Duke City Primary Care had contacted them to verify my insurance. The PA I was supposed to see was no longer certified to participate with my insurance and I would have to pay the Out of Network prices if I kept the appointment. There was a little going back and forth (Duke City and UHC) because they insisted their PA was still certified. Eventually, I convinced Duke City Primary Care scheduling and they said the only appointments they had were in Edgewood (30 mi away) and one even further. I ended up seeing a doctor in Edgewood and I guess I'll continue with this doctor. Good thing is I was seen by the actual doctor, not a PA. It's a longer drive but I don't have a choice.
Terrible. I had come in prior to my first and only appointment with a records release so the records would be available at first appointment. They lost the release, and never got the records. I then went in for my first appointment, notwithstanding the fact they failed on the records front - which should have been a red flag, and saw Brent. I needed a refill of maintenance medication after my first visit with Brent. They refused to fill it and said Brent needed to see me again (it had been less than a year since he'd seen me) - but then they couldn't get me in for over a month - even for a telehealth visit! I was told (rudely by the woman on the phone) there was no cancellation list or any way to be seen sooner, even by phone or video. Instead, she told me to go to an Urgent Care to get maintenance medication until they could see me. Thought switching to a different provider there would help after my first unsatisfactory experience there, but I couldn't get in to see her for another 4 months, and still haven't seen her. If a primary care provider can't provide primary services like refills, getting records, seeing patients on a timely basis, and instead rely on referring established patients to Urgent Care for routine medications, then they need to re-evaluate how they are doing business. For a privately owned practice, the lack of communication and customer service is appalling. I will be going elsewhere.
Update: i called in to the billing department prior to sending this review and was told they bill all first visits as office visits rather than annuals. I called in today and said when I left a review they said to call in and they would fix it. I talked to the same gentleman in the department as my first call and now he said he would fix it, so good to know I guess! They'll bill as an office visit unless it becomes publicly disclosed this is what they do. Moved from out of state and needed to establish care with a new pcp and do an annual physical - The Dr I saw was amazing! But just so everyone knows - even though I did an annual physical and the Dr said I wasn't due back for a year, they billed my insurance as an office visit rather than a physical. They get paid more for that and it isn't billed as preventative care so I have a sizeable bill to pay for something which has been billed as a physical at every other doctors office I've ever been to. Just wanted to make everyone aware their billing office bills new patients for physicals as not being physicals to make a bit more money. If you're on a high deductible plan like I am, it may be best to do business with an office that is more ethical in their billing practices.
They cancelled my appointment without informing me. I scheduled over three months ago to get an appointment with a physician here. In pain the entire time--counting down the weeks to my appointment because these are issues urgent care can do nothing for (need continuity of care). Today, the day of my appointment, they tell me that the provider Dr. Luu cancelled my appointment months ago and nobody informed me. So now instead of 3 months to get help, I'm now looking at an additional 3 months to see any physician in this city. I'm in tears. I wonder if they did this to me is because I gave a very well deserved (and not given lightly) bad review to one of their providers in Cedar Crest, but to do something like this as some sort of retribution--messing with someone's timely access to medical care--is inexcusable and heartless. Best case scenario would be if she just thought I was established at the other location, but still, if you cancel a person's medical appointment, you inform them! Period. I'm extremely worried and even afraid my body is gonna endure permanent damage waiting months longer for another physician that I would have scheduled months ago if I'd been informed.
This is the worst place to come if you are having a health scare. I came in Monday morning trying to schedule an appointment, under stress, only to be treated poorly. I wasn’t able to get the name of the woman who was working behind the desk, however she is an older Caucasian woman with short cheaply dyed red hair. She has over plucked eyebrows resembling those of tweety bird. Anyhow, after explaining the nature of my situation, she immediately took to providing me with her insensitive and irrelevant commentary. Furthermore she became hostile and unpleasant, as I tried to schedule an appointment. Her attitude throughout was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Additionally, she aggressively pressured me to make an immediate decision regarding my appointment. During our interaction, a Hispanic man walked in inquiring about something. She went on to make less of him and rudely dismissed him. This was my first and last time at Duke City Primary Care. I recommend the Duke City Urgent Care down the road, as it’s employees know how to treat their patients respectfully, while providing a welcoming atmosphere. As for “tweety bird”, if you’re reading this. Go to hell.
Hello, I am letting you know of ridiculous situation that your clinic put me in today. I was given paperwork indicating that I needed to be at the Los Lunas clinic after 9:00 AM by Wednesday, October 4th. I, like many of you, work for a living, so I chose today to request the time off to give the urine sample. I arrived at 9:00 and was turned away because the person that does this service wasn't in until 11:00 AM. Fair enough, so I went to back to work and returned at 11:00 only to be turned away again because this person called in. The people at the office were of no help, and the person I got ahold of on the phone was rude and also useless. In addition, the email to reach out for this type of complaint doesn't work either. In the future, please consider not offering services you clearly can't provide. also, due to the rudeness I encountered on the phone, I will be leaving appropriate reviews on all platforms so as to let everyone know the quality of your service. I would suggest reaching out to me with a BIG apology and suggestions to make this right.
I got established here because Dr. Stuart has a background that I thought would be suited to me specifically. There have been a few catches along the way though. One has been that he's impossible to get in to see. In 2 years, I have seen him only 2 times, once being on day one of getting established in the clinic. Most recently I have been rescheduled three times to get in for an annual physical/follow up, and almost 8 months later than my initially requested appointment. To their credit, they're more than willing to try to get me in to see another provider, but frankly if I wanted to see just any doctor I'll go to an urgent care. If you value a patient/provider connection, I'm not sure I would recommend this joint. Another catch has been on the billing side. Because Dr Stuart was listed as a sports medicine specialist, it took months of work to get the billing corrected for my primary care visits. Both times the billing needed correcting, and unfortunately difficult endeavor.
I had a negative experience with Duke City Primary Care. I called to set up an appointment to establish care with a provider. (I was on hold for over 20 minutes). I took the soonest appointment - two months out. After waiting two months I arrived at my appointment to learn that the provider does not prescribe birth control. I'm a 31 year old woman and was not informed of this prior to the appointment. I have since received a $500 bill for an out of network lab test. I initially thought this was completely erroneous because I declined all lab work but have learned that this bill is for a simple urine dip that happened in office in a matter of minutes but is being billed as an out of network lab test. (Currently appealing this.) I waited months for my appointment, was informed that my provider did not provide basic care, and am now dealing with an extremely inflated bill. I'm left feeling that this provider is trying to maximize profits with little regard for patient outcomes.
I love my current doctor (DR.Stuart) through them, but the last 3-5 appts that I had scheduled with them, have been either rescheduled or completely cancelled because of double/triple booking, (as if that’s my problem) and they state that they are, “unable to reschedule or guarantee an inperson visit”. Again I love the physician that I have, but their schedule is a nightmare. Even if you make an appointment, months prior, they will call you to cancel or reschedule and reschedule your already rescheduled appointments. I honestly doubt my doctor even knows who I am or what I look like because every appointment I have made to see him for the last 18 months has been, “rescheduled”. Whoever is in charge of scheduling there, needs to get their ducks in a row. I honestly feel like the scheduling side doesn’t care about my health because their actions says otherwise. I hope that they are able to fix this. I also hope that I will not be pushed aside for posting this. We will see.
Incompetent in handling billing issues. Zero follow up, no returned phone calls. When I call a guy named Keith always disconnects me. Last conversation with Vanessa in mid to late April I was assured this would be taken care of but it wasn't. Updated 5/6/22 I'm told they are working on this. On 5/28/22 NOBODY has reached out!!!! Are they not embarrassed? I'll be reporting this business to the BBB. Week of 6/13 I called again, was directed to a supervisor named "Crystal". Once again my call was not returned. How the heck do they stay in business while ignoring customers and not returning phone calls??? Don't get it? Despite the (unfulfilled) "response" below there has never been any follow-up or effort to correct a mis-billing to Tricore. As of 8-1-2022 Tricore has never even been contacted by this provider. A BBB complaint has resulted again in no response. Medicare is getting an official complaint and I will be contacting an attorney regarding this matter.
Been going here for almost 1 yr. No real doctors here the one I see Brent doesn't know much. I have Primary biliary cirrhosis which he doesn't seem to know much about. Been on my one meds for 8 yrs he took me off. Then when my specialist found out he put me right back on them they were givin to me because of my conditionnow he wants to take me off of 1 of my other meds that I have been on for 16 years.I don't really think he knows what he is doing. This meds were givin to me because of my panic attacks Im 73 with a liver decease that should be his first priority.not trying to take me off of my meds that I need.and treating me that he will give me 3 months or he will not write them anymore. I could die coming off of them but he doesn't seem to care.Right now all Im worried about is my liver condition I have 3 surgery coming up he should be helping me with that not threating me.
Dr. Stuart is an outstanding physician. We have been patients for many years as have numerous friends of ours. He is extremely kind, caring and compassionate. He has always gone above and beyond to help with our medical needs and concerns. He is a man of integrity and humbly serves the Albuquerque community. I would also commend Duke City Primary Care for bringing Brent Gillespie, PA, on to their team. Brent is a person of integrity and is compassionate and kind to a fault. Brent is a Physicians Assistant and is an excellent provider. He has been overseeing the medical needs of one of our daughters for the past year. These are challenging times trying to get in with medical professionals in Albuquerque. Nonetheless, this group of medical providers do their best to meet the demands they are faced with. I appreciate them and their staff! They are heroes in this community.
Dr Christie and he MA Desiree were not there to help me. The MA took it upon herself but to check my urine and a couple days later I ended up in emergency room with something that could have been prevented. The MA kept going in the room bothering the doctor, so the doctor left without doing my exam. The MA gave me the complete wrong referral than the doctor told her but the MA said she thought her referral was better. So I left mad and untreated. Worst care ever. That doctor was usually good but the MA was horrible and made things worse on the doctor and myself. I was told to look into a suit because the MA not checking things the doctor told her to. Caused painful problems because she did her own thing. I am still a patient with this clinic but with a different doctor. Hopefully this one's better with a better MA that knows, she's NOT the doctor.
When I arrived to check in, the Receptionist said that my appointment had been cancelled. It was an error and in less than 10 minutes I received service. My PA-C, Brent Gillespie was fabulous. Caring, attentiive and explained the meaning of all my blood work test results. He heped me focus on how to rectify a high cholesterol reading since I stopped Lipitor and prescribed Crestor and ordered it at my Pharmacy....all by computer. I think I lucked out...I now have a great primary doctor, Mai Luu, MD and a PA-C, Brent Gillespie. What a change from the pro forma 7 minutes I used to get from my former primary wqith a bill for $360. I also use Duke City Urgent Care located almost next to Primary Care. The staff at Urgent Care is also wonderful. Am grateful to have Duke City programs near my home and accessible with wonderful care.
I have had a bad experiences with (Duke City primary Care) from day one I've had a hard time I'm talk down not talk too. I was seeing Brent and nothing was getting done I have a lot of medical issues and it's hard to get better 2hwn doctors keep living Albuquerque. Then I transferred Dr Luu thinking she was going to be better but no she was not any better she kept me waiting in the Patience room for 30 minutes . Then she send a helper in asking me questions without looking at my history. Then I was never told that Dr. Luu was going to leave never got a letter in the mail never got a phone call in till I call to ask a question did I knew she was leaving. This place is about money not You're wellness...I called today 4 times for 30 minutes waiting I can't get through to reschedule and no one answers the line ...
When in the facility everyone is very friendly. However I have been requesting a call back for last two weeks to get a problem solved and no one has taken the time to even spend two minutes on the phone. The receptionist has always been kind and understanding but just says keep calling back every day and she will eventually call you back. Maybe i am the exception and not the norm but cant seem to find a way to get a hold of anyone that can answer a question. I am assuming that writing a review is the only way I can magically get a call back. People make mistakes but i have talked to them so many times its now not mistakes, its organizational dysfunction. After posting I realized this is for Montgomery branch. Apologies to their staff but speaking about Cedar Crest.
Had an appointment in early May cancelled because the doctor called out and rescheduled for middle of June. Received a call this morning cancelling my appointment again because the doctor called out and the earliest they can see me is now the End of July and at a different location. It is incredibly aggravating that Duke City Primary Care can cancel your appointment out of the blue and then have no good way for you to come in and see a doctor in a reasonable amount of time. That fact that this keeps happening and that they do not have a system set up to get people in who have been waiting after a sudden cancelation makes it appear that the patient is not their highest priority. Awful experience with this primary care and I haven't even been there yet.
Worst experience I’ve had at a doctors office. I went in there because I recently moved to NM I was on Medicaid in Colorado and was taking vyvance for my ADHD, my whole purpose of going there was to get back on meds even tho I was paying out of pocket. I pay up front to see the “doctor” named Brent I explain my situation and he tells me I need to go pay to see a psychologist to get prescribed that and that he can’t do cuz it not what he practices. Witch is BS I’ve only been prescribed by primary care doctors, he tried to give me some medicine that I looked up that’s for helping you with depression and to stop smoking. Witch has nothing with my situation at all. I chewed him and he gave me my money huge waste of time.
I enjoy going to my primary care now thanks to Duke City. The staff is always friendly, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen by my provider. The nurses who check vitals and get me checked in are always courteous snd make sure to ask why I am visiting today but If there is anything else I need to discuss while I’m there which makes me feel like they truly do care about my health rather than just trying to get me in and out. My provider is always very thorough and makes sure to answer any or concerns I may have. Again they are efficient and fast but I am never rushed this is something that is hard to come by these days. I am very grateful to have duke city ad my primary care.
My experiences here have been above and beyond anything I would have ever expected! I've been coming to this practice for just about a year after having transferred across the country from the Atlanta, GA area. My husband and I both see Christie Domme, and let me tell you- fellow humans just don't get any kinder than her! She is intelligent, generous with her time in listening to you and your needs, patient and kind, downright friendly and just an all around great human being! Vince and I are so grateful for her and all that she does to keep us up to date in our yearly exams and our in between visits. Thank you Miss Christie! YOU ARE THE BEST!
I saw Mr. Walters last week for my new PCP; had been going to Los Lunas since I used to live down there, and was worried about finding a doc in the ABQ. Happy to have found Duke City in ABQ. They already had my records from Los Lunas and he was able to read the notes that Mr. La (also AWESOME BTW) had written on me. He examined me, listened to my concerns, got me a referral and ordered some testing to figure out my weird joint pains. I am really optimistic about NOT HURTING any longer! So far both Mr. La and Mr. Walters have been great!!!! While not MDs, they are clearly pretty smart and good at treating patients. Would definitely recommend.
I’m frustrated with Duke City Primary care.Montgomery office. The only telephone number you can reach the office is a number that offered you choices of a location and then you’re on hold for at least 10 minutes. They don’t have a direct line. I also had a voicemail asking them to call them back. No name or what it was about. It took me 15 minutes to get in touch with them. I would have appreciated if they could have left a message with that information. The staff has not been friendly, and it feels the P.A.s don’t really treat you. I like my PA, but I felt he didn’t add any any information to my questions, or give me feedback.
Several months in advance, I setup an appointment for first visit with a primary care doctor. I arrived for the appointment and was informed the doctor had left the practice. I received no email or phone call informing me I needed to make other arrangements. Receptionist said something about the computer system had been changed and some people were not notified about the physician leaving. This shows extremely poor management. They likely knew the physician was leaving some time in advance. Someone could have simply printed the appointment schedule and made sure patients were informed by email and phone call.
Calling and having to deal with the staff was one of the worst experiences iv had all week. (Not including injury) as I called the main Duke city care Phone number listed on Google. A women answered the line and has never made it so hard to schedule and appointment. They are filled with additude with any question you ask or if you don't have the correct answer such as the name of the specific cross streets are located you will not be helped but only giving a huge amount of SASS. I suggest the front desk receptionist look for a new day job because customer service is definitely not your forte.
The doctor cancelled last minute on me yesterday and asked to reschedule. I was able to re-schedule but the doctor missed our phone appointment. I keep trying to speak to someone there but can only get through to billing or scheduling(after a very long wait) the automated machine will transfer you and then hang up if you try to go to any other connection . I was never told that my original doctor was no longer there. I now have to start over with someone new. Created a patient portal profile and don't get responses. This is just the recent problems I have had. I don't recommend this place.
This place is so incredibly insensitive to patients. The overall rude staff, rude doctors is unbearable. If you’re looking for a new primary or urgent care don’t bother looking here. They will never provide any quality care at duke city in los Lunas. I cannot believe how we’ve been treated so horrible by the staff and doctor. All they want is money. Duke city does not care about you as a patient. Don’t bother signing up for health care because it’s all a scam for the money hungry company. They have absolutely no compassion for patients.
Very frustrating that primary care physicians do dont stay put for longer than a year anymore. No notice sent out, that they leave so you can reestablish so you can be seen when you are in need. My first visit was almost exactly one year ago, my 2nd was 6 months after that. When this information was presented to me, it was as if i was the dummy for not constantly visiting the doctor. Whoever answered the phone was very short and unwilling to answer my questions. Very frustrating situation I find myself in time and time again.
Waited over an hour in the room to see the PA. No apology or anything. Needed to get labs done, went and got them drawn, waited 3 weeks and then decided to call and ask why no one had called me. The r receptionist said that the medical assistant was supposed to call me and go over results, but she didn't. Then the receptionist goes on to tell me that everything looks okay. I ask about my hormone levels, and they tell me it looks good. So glad I paid money to be treated by a receptionist. Would not recommend.
Poor patient experience. They canceled my appointment 15 minutes before it started. This was not communicated to me, so I still made the drive to their office. This is after waiting for 3 months to even get an appointment. They also did not have any additional coverage, so I was unable to been seen by a provider. They were then rude and matter fact about it, like it somehow didn't inconvenience me at all. If you are looking for a patient forward experience, I'd strongly urge you to look else where.
I’ve been with Duke City for a few years. The receptionist are rude! I called today because I’m sick and was meet with a receptionist that was just unnecessarily rude. If I knew her name I could mention it she sounded like she had a cold herself maybe that’s why she was an attitude, but if that’s the case take the day off don’t take whatever your going though out on patients. My primary is great and when she moves I’ll be following her. I have nothing positive to say about Duke City.
Twice I've been to this clinic, and have seen two different providers. Terrible. Won't treat you in any way and tell you to go somewhere else. I've been struggling to find a primary care physician. No one practicing here is interested in doing so. To top it off, I brought in records of my latest medical treatment, and they kept it! I went in asking if they could help get my records in order and they kept what little I had! With healthcare like this, you're better off dying.
Super competent, friendly yet formidable, informative, scientifically curious practitioners that take their time to listen to patients and who consequently make timely and relevant diagnostic and treatment decisions. That about sums up my experience with Duke City Primary Care and Duke City Urgent Care. These folks are serious and seriously good. I'm impressed with their facility, the work they do and the awesome attitudes and professionalism of the entire staff.
I have been going to Duke City Primary Care since they opened. The quality and standard of care with Duke City is the best in New Mexico. Professionalism, caring, competence from the receptionist to the doctor and anyone you deal with there. Anytime I have felt I had an issue I spoke with the person and all was resolved. I see an atmosphere of true desire to offer the best care, learn from any issues and be better! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
I had my first visit yesterday and walked away very pleased! From the check-in with Austin, to the nurse Desiree, to Brett Gillespie,PA who attended to me...all were so pleasant, kind, and wonderful! Mr. Gillespie was so patient and thorough. He listened to my concerns and it seems he really cares. I am very satisfied with his recommendations. I'm happy to have a primary care PA to go to now if I need to. I highly recommend!
Fast honest and easy to deal with and a real person answers the phone not a machine. Solved problems that I was having with my old primary care physician in less than 15 minutes that I have been trying to get fixed for over a year. Their Urgent Care is also top notch as a walk in I was seen on a Saturday that was busy in less than 20 minutes. No exaggeration they're friendly staff SAVED MY LIFE!!
Our daughter Stephanie taught on of Dr John Stewart’s children and had gotten comfortable with the facility. In fact her whole family used Dr John. When we moved from Arkansas to Albuquerque last year at thanksgiving, we had to arrange for “all new” hdealth care providers. Stephanie led us to Dr. Stewart. We are blessed with compassionate, quality care! We couldn’t be more satisfied
Had an appointment called stating I was running late told there was a 10 minute grace after the appointment. I signed in nobody at desk she came back helped the other person and then spent time on computer while I was waiting they canceled my appointment. The receptionist was aware I had been there but refused to contact the back to see me so I now can be seen in end of September
Cedar crest negative experience in Apr., numerous errors in med chart still not corrected mos.later. Then tried Montg.ofc. Messages often get delayed or lost. Company seems a bit disorganized. Had hope that DukeCity Montg.would be great.. PA B.G. not listening to me when I come to appt.without partner. I'm not confident in my care with him. Not sure about Duke City overall.
This place deserves a ZERO. Unbelievable. While the visit to the PA was fine, everything else was horrible. The promised antibiotic ointment was not called into Walgreens, It took Four calls got the ointment, but it was wrong. I called a 5th time with no response. Yesterday a $327 charge for X-Rays went to my Medicare account, but I got no X-rays nor any other sample.
I am very happy with the care I receive. The entire staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I have recommended my care provider to everyone one I know because I want the people I love having the best health care available. I have never felt rushed or dismissed at Duke City Primary Care. They do a great job keeping me and my family healthy! Five Stars!
I love Dr. John Stuart, and all the staff at Duke City Primary Care on Montgomery. I have had 5 primary care doctors in the past 7 years. They all moved, or retired. I waited for a year to get in to see Dr. Stuart, and I am so happy to be working with him on my health. All of his recommendations have been spot on. I feel like I am finally in good hands again.
I have been to this place for my kids never had a problem. At the beginning of February i had to take my kid just to be turned away cause there was no appointment made and i had just seen online that walk in are welcome anf if thats the case i want to know why my child got TURNED AWAY. We had to waite 10 hrs in the er for strep cause no one would see my kid
Dr. Bradley Walters made such a difference during my visit today. Each time I’ve come in to see him I don’t fell rushed and I don’t feel like a “number”. He takes the time to chat with me about what I need help/treatment with and gives me an in-depth rundown of my options. Probably the best doc I’ve ever worked with! Would highly recommend working with him.
I've tried calling to reach Dr. Luu twice today at Primary Care and on both occasions phone contact was impossible. It was not even possible to leave a message because the robot answering machine said that the mailbox was full. Not a professional way to run an office/business. This has happened before in 2019 as well, so this is not a one-time occurrence.
My mother has been going to Duke City for about 4 years and from day 1 she has had nothing but problems! She likes her doctors ans the staff is usually polite and courteous but they can't ever get her medications called into the pharmacy right or even at all! She is diabetic and has gone for weeks without her meds! This is completely unacceptable!
My freind sufferd a sinal cord injury aside from the pain he goes thew he constantly gets uti's we went in they sent urin culture and gave him antibiotic he never got a call back with his results and now we find out he has been on the wrong antibiotics this whole time! doesn't seem like they care about their patients if you ask me! …
Best care you could ever receive. Both the medical assistants and providers will actually listen to you needs and will provide what is needed. You can't find a better place around. John Panter is the best provider you could ever receive. He and the staff is the best. Keep up the great work and care. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you!!!!!
Mikayla Johnson Is a phenomenal primary care provider. I have worked with many over the years and none were as attentive as she is. She has a sense of urgency to help where help is needed and is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Most of my previous providers took their time and didn't push to make things happen, she does.
Dr. Luu is great, however, leaving a phone message for the Dr is rather cumbersome and the bugs need to be ironed out. It's often difficult to tell if the message ever got through to the Dr or if it was intercepted by a tech or nurse. You talk to a person but the person is off site and not in the actual office that the Dr is in.
I used to receive exceptional care but now the receptionists and MAs are new and no matter how much kindness and respect you give them they return with snotty attitudes. When I stand up for myself or clarify it just gets worse. It is unprofessional, bad bed side manner and I will no longer be having my care here. This is wrong.
I want to share my gratitude with the staff at this facility. I brought my daughter there yesterday and the amount of compassion and professionalism were by far the best I’ve seen. They are so pleasant and helpful. If you’re sick or injured these guys are definitely recommended as easily one of the top spots to be seen.
I had a great experience. Dr. Panter was amazing. Took a lot of time to talk with me about my concerns. He seemed to really listen and took the time to come up with a plan moving forward. It was my best experience with a doctor in over 25 years. I am very happy I chose to make my appointment with Duke City.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went in expecting great service and I left feeling scammed because I keep getting recurring bills after I already paid multiple times. I've called and can't get an answer about why I keep receiving multiple bills. PLEASE go somewhere else if you can!!!!!!!! AWFUL PLACE
The Staff is very friendly and that is very important. What I found disturbing was the carpet. It was stained with large spots and all together gross. A medical facility should not have carpets. It gives an impression that the facility is dirty. It needs to be removed and just not cleaned.
Excellent help from the front desk. The assistant who got me ready for the visit was capable and professional. The Primary Care Physician, Heather Dountas, was professional, compassionate and proficient. Her expertise in various areas was apparent and she took care of all of my concerns.
Dr. Mai Luu is an amazing doctor. She is very thorough, spends time with you, listens, is compassionate, knowledgeable and is trustworthy. It’s difficult to find a good doctor these days and I’m grateful my family found her! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Dr. Luu!
Never have I had an experience like this at medical facility. Dr. D did not care about quality of life in her patients. I strongly advise not to see her for care. She was very upset to have a patient advocate in the patients visit. Very unprofessional and horrible bedside manner.
This facility from the start has been a great experience. Dr Walters was very nice did not rush me and took the time to listen and help. The last practice I left every visit was rushed and they did not care about their patients. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.
Dr Panter is the best Doctor I've ever had he is caring and professional. He actually listens to your concerns and tries to fix your issues unlike doctors in my past who ask how I was and when told they do nothing to fix your problems. Thank you Dr Panter I appreciate you.
Dr. Stuart is a down to earth medical doctor with true compassion and concern for his patients' well-being. He takes time with my elderly mother, is very polite and gentle with her. He has a very humble demeanor and wants to know and hear the concerns of his patients.
Excellent doctors. Only ever experience one minor problem. Information passed from you to the staff or from the staff to you seems to go astray. Everyone is very helpful but somehow the information gets jumbled up. This is minor and eventually will get cleared up
Their treatment of my wife is, well, non-existent. She constantly gets the runaround. She is frustrated beyond belief. Time to find a new primary care doctor. And that we did. My wife is so much happier with her new provider. It’s like they actually care.
Very happy with John and Kay over the years. Feels like we're just going to see friends when we visit. I moved out of state and still drive here for specific treatments. Front-end staff charges out with some frequency and can be a bit indifferent.
Dr. Walters has been amazing since I started coming here. The office folks are really nice and return calls in a timely manner. Scheduling appointments is very efficient with their help. You can tell the staff really care about their patients.
Overall good at location. Shame no doctor hired before another leaves. The main number for all duke city anytime I call on hold hour or longer sucks can’t make appt on phone or billing question like on my lunch hour because of long hold times
Been sick for going on three weeks, even the cold meds say to see a doctor at this point. Went in and they didn't even listen to my lung sounds or look in my throat or ears...Just told me to keep treating my symptoms and sent me on my way...
I really like John Panter as my new PCP. He takes the time to listen and doesn't rush you. What I am not fond of though is the 2 hour after my appointment time wait to see him. If it wasn't for the wait time I would have give them 5 stars.
Duke City Primary Care is really an incredible experience. They are kind and put you at ease from the moment you walk through the door. The doctors and staff also work with you on the treatments, while keeping you fully informed.
Excellent organization. Waited only a few minutes before I saw Dr. Stuart. My session with him was not rushed. dr. Stuart is very professional and well versed with my health. I am very happy with my move to the organization
Front desk staff was friendly and helpful throughout the process of the appointment. The nurses and staff seemed to really care about me and my concerns rather than rushing through the appointment and brushing me off.
Dr. Luu and her team are incredible every time, she breaks things down for me, is honest, to the point and has a wonderful personality! I drive from the far west side to come see her, because she’s that great!!
Heather Dountas is professional, caring and knowledgeable. I am confident she provides excellent care. The office 8s easily accessible. The medical assistant is fantastic. Pleased that Duke City is available.
Not the best service. You will never talk to a live person until you are about to die. And then they will have an excuse. No back up doctors? Wow, if you are in bad shape, probably best to not take a chance.
I have always felt that my primary Heather Dountas gives me her full attention when she is with me. My questions are answered and my medical issues addressed. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.
Dr. Luu is one of my favorite doctors. Being in my 70’s I’ve had quite a few primary doctors. She is thorough and explains what is going on in a conversational way. I have recommended her to my friends.
Margaret, nurse practitioner, and her assistant, Austin, were awesome. Very efficient, kind, and friendly. Got a full exam, bloodwork and out within a half hour from the start of my appointment time!
This is a good place to get primary care. Though the physcians and nurses might be a little overwhelmed, they take the time to to listen and concentrate eforts on ensuring patients' needs are met.
Dr. STUART has been my primary for years at a different clinic. I'm so glad he decided to make the move to Duke City Primary Care as now the entire office experience is as great as he is.
The BEST Doctors, Nurses and Staff in Albuquerque by far. Friendly. Professional, knowledgeable, and competent. I enjoy my visits each and every time. They're so good, they saved my life.
I had a doctor named Margaret and I did not like her. I have a new doctor now and I am hoping for the best. Came here because their urgent care services are probably the best in town!
I attend Duke City Primary because of Dr John Stuart. He is kind, attentive and a really great Dr. I have followed him from his previous practice and will continue to follow him.
The staff are really helpful and patient. My doctor also takes the time to explain why he recommends what he does and provides options if I have questions or concerns.
There's a lot of unhappiness here. No records. No listening or inquiring. Was told I would probably be better off somewhere else. I won't go back to this clinic.
Absolutely love Dr. Stewart! He's the only doctor my kids have ever seen and they're 9 and 10 now. We even followed him from his previous network to Duke city!
I do love Dr. Luu and think she's the greatest doctor I've ever had, very supportive and she regularly schedules me for appts. Very proactive...and caring!
Dr. Luu and her team are amazing. They took the time to listen and address my concerns in a timely manner. Very clean and organized medical office.
Dr. Stuart and his staff have always taken the best care of our family. We are very thankful for him and everyone at Duke City Primary Care.
Dr. Stuart is fantastic, all of his staff are friendly and listen. He takes the time to listen and ask questions!! Always enjoy my visits.
Great facilities, dedicated, highly qualified staff. Overall, I am happy to entrust my dermotolical care to the folks at Epiphany.
Very warm and caring. I felt very welcomed. Dr. Grenemyer is great. He explains very well and listens . He is a wonderful Doctor.
I am extremely pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the entire staff. I would advise any one to visit the facility
Everyone is always professional, pleasant, and you're made to feel like you are the most important person there!
Always thankful for the professional services I Received every appointment at the facility Sara Sandoval
Duke City Primary care has been amazing! Bradley Walters and his staff are very friendly and helpful.
Always great with Heather. Folled her to Duke City Alw!ys friendly and professional.
Very pleased with the care and attention provide by Dr. Stuart and his staff!
I have enjoyed seeing Heater Dountas she cares about patients. Thank You
Dr Panter was great. He took the time to explain things to me.
Staff is extremely rude and dismissive. Won’t be back.
