Admin is helpful, reslife is helpful. Getting registered on the database is relatively easy but if you have a business plan that is designed to empower student and staff, you need to know someone on the inside, as you will be dealing with serious gate keepers or people that will steal your ideas....

Good public institution. I completed my BTech here. Excellent work integrated learning program. Not too expensive compared to traditional universities. Good campus facilities. Ample library resource selection. Cheap student food outlets. 10/10 would study again.

DUT's policy needs to be reviewed of not giving students their academic transcript or certificate if still owing. They can have an option whereby they make it as a loan to students where students are obliged to pay when they find employment

Any prospective parents/students, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS UNIVERSITY. It's basically run by the EFF organisation. We don't have lectures on campus because of them being too lazy to learn properly so they protest for nothing. They

The DUT Durban campuses are good in general. (I may be biased), but I feel like the best campus is Ritson as it's the cleanest and has the best facilities. All that it lacks, currently, is it's own library. My view of DUT may change after

Durban University of Technology Ndumiso campus in Pietermaritzburg. Interesting engineering designs and creative engineering works. This is home to the school of engineering and other allied biological sciences.

I worked at the place for 12years it has a vast list of food outlets, the environment is conducive for learning, campuses are not that far apart. It has a friendly and welcoming learning environment too.

As a DUT student I would advice grade 12 to apply to the university. It has been everything to me. I am grateful, and to all student studying there we are within reach of all our dreams.

Poor standard of education, I wasted 3 years here, do yourself a favor and go to UKZN or UCT. I learnt more about IT in 2 months doing a learner-ship then my whole time spent here.

My brother has been studying there, he was doing dental therapy. And he finishes his degree well, at the same time he got a job. So I can consider DUT as a great great campus also.

Visited DUT nursery near bottom of Steve Biko Rd, spoke with Andile about plants for sale, very reasonable prices and big indigenous selection. We'll worth a visit Mon - Fri, 8-3

I am not the best student but the practical emphasis (in Engineering) makes studying interesting. We learn about real world applications and that's what is most important.

Dut is best university of technology. It's pedigree speaks for itself. Innovation and quick adaptation to global needs is their game of education.

Useless waste of time. Such a s&#t area looks so rundown and dilapidated. How can they think we can entrust our kids lives to thos place.

DUT is a very nice university but I feel that they don't give opportunities to people who deserve a chance to study there .
