Rude staff. I found a board game that I thought I recognised from having played it once before. Noticed that it was open with a sticker on it saying "Demo game. Try me!" Popped open the box, checked out the board, and was closing it back up when one of the staff members started speaking to me. From half way accross the store (just standing there. Definitely not occupied with something that prevented him from coming over.) Had to ask him to repeat himself a few times, since... half way accross the store, but I eventually managed to make out that he was asking whether I had asked to look at the game. I was pretty confused, and pointed out that it was open and marked as a demo, but he just kept repeating the same line. I said that I hadn't but that I was done with it and in the process of putting it back. Same line. Very bizarre. Eventually, the other assistant in the store came over to do damage control, and said that they just like to "try and keep everything together." Sure. Ok. In his defense, there may have been a sign saying "ask before looking at the demo games." Certainly didn't see any, but if so, my bad. There are definitely more polite ways of pointing it out, though. For the record, it was indeed the game I was thinking of! Now I know what to look for elsewhere! Thanks!

Be careful when shopping online at this place. No detailed product dimensions/ descriptions are given. Images are manipulated to give the impression that items are larger than they actually are. I bought a bunch of goblin warriors. They turned out to barely taller than 5mm. The picture on the site creates the impression that they should be at least 10mm long. I also bought a pack described as Misprint Villains of 100mg thinking I will get quite a few number of villains, even if they are misprints. I mean they are villains after all, so who cares. In the pack I only got 3 misprinted Villains. The rest of the 90 mg are cut offs of body parts and weapons. Again the picture on the site did not indicate this at all. It had a picture of a bag full of miniatures. A very disappointing purchase for me. I don't think I'll buy from them again in the future.

It started on a Wednesday walking in this store and asking about Magic: the gathering. I had no idea what this is and my knowledge only took me far as YuGiOh. Then on Friday, I was told to attend the MTG night to meet and greet the MTG players. The owners and salesman at the counters were very welcoming and the environment here is clean, vibrant and every Friday night MTG. The groups of people you meet and play MTG with here are really welcoming and friendly. This is the kind of environment where you go to just have clean fun! It really makes you look forward to the next time to play MTG again. I was happy to purchase my 1st ever MTG Commander Deck (with some professional assistance from store owner) in this store and their products are always in well condition.

I was extremely disappointed as an avid MTG collector I always visit different outlets to help improve my deck and was always encouraged to visit this store. On arrival, I felt very unwelcomed. Staff , who I assume were family members kept shouting at me and never really wanted me to voice my needs. It seemed as if they just wanted me out of the store immediately. Honestly regret making my purchase there even though they are the closest card game outlet to me.

Plenty of boardgames, miniatures, trading card games, D&D dice and resources, hobby paints, etc. Offers many weekly events to join in and play - such as the D&D group I am part of every week. To accompany the play, there is a coffee counter with some snacks available too. The shop attendants are all down to earth and very friendly. The best game shop in the Western Cape.

I always have a good experience at the store! It has become our regular hangout on Saturdays to get our weekly TCG (Pokemon) fix. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. They have a epic range of boardgames to choose from at competitive prices and they can source any boardgame (big or small) if its not on the shelf. At this store I went in to find some Magic cards and was surprised about how many people there were and how much they contributed to the busy atmosphere of the shop. Ruan was very helpful and even took some time to teach me the game. Its quite a big store and the have alot of tables for people and kids to play their games. The store is much bigger than expected. They have a fantastic range of products and it reminds me of Wizards in their prime. The prices are very good. Many products are cheaper than any of the other retailers. They host gaming events as well but the price is a bit steep. Overall I will continue supporting them.

Owner sells everything online and stuff can be sold out while you busy purchasing them. Staff member made me feel like a thief , did not want to open the door and asked me if i brought in the bag in my hand *Joey’s meat* and I offered to open the bag with the mince inside. Rude and uninviting

Affordable and relaxing place to spend the afternoon or evening. Coffee and refreshments served, or bring in food. R30 to spend the afternoon playing demo games. Open during loadshedding (bit no drinks). The best place to relax and try something new and bring down your screen time.

Great place for having old fashioned fun. The shop hours are great if you are working as they only close at 23:00. They have the most competitive prices, and they will advise you of your purchase before you waste money. As the owner said, it is more about the player than the shop.

This is a little hidden gem. If you love boardgames, Dungeons and Dragons, or Magic: This is the place for you. I got into a Dungeons and Dragons group thanks to the owners. They host a lot of events that you can get involved in and do their best to help you get what you need.

Ordered my first product from them on Monday. Received a little personal touch with a note from the shop - sturdy and safe packaging. Never going to order D&D material anywhere else than with these guys again! Highly highly recommended. Supporting you all the way!

Very helpful with a huge range of games. My son wanted to test the latest Star Wars game and we were able to play on the night of our visit with one of the other star wars games and are going back to join in on a Star Wars Legion game next week.

Regarding SPE 16-17 June 2023. Venue is too small for an event of this size. Bathrooms very inconvenient to reach. Also lacks a Halaal food option around the venue.
