Really sad to be leaving a bad review on a nail shop I been loyal to for the last 2-3 years. I’ve had two encounters where the shellac on my toes peeled off only a few days from getting it done. The first time it happens I thought I’d give the benefit of the doubt because it’s never happened before. I go back again (Saturday just gone) and then the same thing happens (it’s Tuesday and the shellac is off) But this time I cannot inconvenience myself my coming all the way back to change this as I live far. I was refused a full refund or even part of a refund. I make an effort to book all my appointments in advance but on the day I don’t get seen until 45 mins or 1 hour later. I never complain and still continue to tip and be loyal. I would advise maybe listening to your customers because I said on many occasions I cannot come to the shop to get it repainted in time as I’m going abroad.. there was no alternatives. Just sorry “we can’t” Highly disappointed.. that’s for sure.

Sad to leave a bad review as ive come here a few times and the main guy who did my nails in the past is very good and friendly. But its a hit and miss, some of the staff are really kind and great at nails, and some are terrible and unprofessional. The man who did my nails today applied the acrylic wonky, when i bought it to his attention kindly, he blamed my finger shape, corrected it, but then starts to mutter things under his breath and having a rude tone. Then he randomly stood up and switched seats with the other lady, but didn't say a word to me as to what was wrong, I haven't said a word so I'm not even sure why this very unprofessional treatment was necessary. To top it off th lady who did my pedicure shaped my toe nail diagonally. Disappointed i left there feeling horrible and ill be trying a different nail salon for now..

I am a regular customer of two years and love every one of the people in this place. They always do a good job. Tiens sister, Lee and the crew are amazing! However, a few weeks ago, they've recently got a new man to do the nails and he is so rude i can not return here. He can not speak English at all and he also clicks his fingers at me. He has done this twice now. Due to the miscommunication and language barrier, he cut my nails way shorter than he was supposed to and then proceeded to put acrylic on a few of the nails. I hate to say this, because i love all of the workers in the shop and love their work but this new guy has completely ruined my experience. Sad to go :(

Bless them for trying to see everyone, it’s a small shop, but they don’t want to let any customers down, so it gets a little overpacked. This doesn’t compromise their service completely though, they do focus on you and ensure you leave the salon happy! Out of 10 I’d give my pedicure an 8, please work on shaping, as you have to adjust the shape according to the hand and fingers. Not everyone can have the same type of square, as everyone’s nails are different sizes, for example. That’s all I’d say really, other than that I’m pleased with the massage, colour, quality and price :)

I do not leave reviews but on this occasion I had to ! Terrible service, ignore the positive reviews as they are fake !!!! They don’t speak good English and ignore your requests during treatment. If you have a complaint they speak about you in their own language and speak down to you with a very bad attitude. Customer service is appalling and all they are interested in is getting your money! If you want a bad experience with money to waste then this is the place to be ! If not then visit another salon, there are plenty to choose from within the area!

Was recommended to see Lee as my usual technician in the Vietnam Nail location in well Street was not in. I usually do not let other technicians touch my nails however Lee (manager at well street branch) assured me I would receive the same level of service - He was not wrong. The manager in this branch was just as lovely showing me all the embellishments and crystals as I like that extra wow - not once did she seem irritated that I kept wanting to see another box of glittery goodies. My infill was perfect. Not a single complaint. 10/10.

I have cuts all over, nail tech was in such a hurry she had to fix and redo nails because she was shaping them incorrectly. One of the nails she fixed is so shotty, she didn’t finish taking of the acrylic she did badly and just put a new tip over, so it’s like double acrylic, just really bad. Nails are misshapen, polish is uneven and spotty. So strange because I’ve been to their other location and their instagram is impeccable but that’s not what you end up walking out with.

I arrived late but they said it was no problem, happily took my money and messed up my nails. I didn't even realise I was given a dry manicure with a electric file they kept distracting me with conversation. I was in complete agony for about a week with my skin peeling back from my nails due to the damage from the electric file. They don't care about your nails just the money. Would not recommend.

I rang up today to ask if they had time to do a biab infill at half 6 before they closed, they said they could, but I wish they had just said they didn't have time... it was so rushed that they look awful! Practically bulbous they are so lumpy, scuffs around the side, and misshapen. I wish I said something when I was there but I didn't realise it was as bad. Going to need to get them fixed.

The worst experience of my life. So unorganised and unprofessional, told them I didn’t like my nails they said that’s what I wanted instead of rectifying it. I wouldn’t waste my time here at all. They rush so they can fit everyone in, they’re about quantity and not quality. I will not be back at all. If no stars or minus stars was an option they’d get -5 from me

I’ve been using this nail salon since last summer now and I highly recommend it! Always satisfied with the way they do my nails, and staff is always very friendly and polite. I’ve tried out quite a few nail salons in Hackney and must say this is the best so far. Special thanks to the new staff member who did my nails today, I will be back soon!

Very friendly staff with great entertainment. More space than most nail salons I have been to and you can actually freely move around. I was not offered a beverage but I assume it is because they forgot so it will not affect my rating. Fairly priced and worth the money. I will say that the after care was very minimal though.

walked in and didn’t have to wait but it did get busier as rush hour started understandably. quick, clean and professional and really well priced. asked for reference photos and listened to my requests accurately. the massage chair during the pedicure was a lovely touch and I didn’t feel rushed at any point. cash only

I’ve been coming here for just over 6 months now & I absolutely love it here! Leanne is amazing at what she does & she really listens to how you want your nails. The prices are very reasonable & they last for ages before your next infill. Honestly can’t fault the team - always satisfied with how my nails come out.

Worst shellac ive had - really uneven/blobby and smudges and scratches at the edges (didnt realise that was even possible with shellac). Would have asked to be redone but had to leave and didnt properly check until home when i noticed how poorly they were done. My nails look about 1ml thicker and distorted.

I’ve had the best experience at E5 nails, I’ve been going for a few months and they’re consistently the best nails I’ve ever had. I get SNS on my hands and gel pedicure on my toes, the attention to detail is spot on. So professional, so good at what they do, always on time and just good vibes in there

I've been getting my nails and feet done at this shop for a number of years on and off. Today the service was so horrible, from both the woman who did my pedicure and "management". Seems like they had forgotten I am paying for the service, they are not doing me any favours.

Come on down to E5 Nails and Beauty, they care about your nails and Beauty more than you do. They will advise you on your choices and what is fitted better to your needs. If you don't like something they have done they will fix it. Come see for yourself. Highly recommended.

Out of all the nail salons in this area of Hackney, this is one better ones. The staff are friendly, something most others don’t have. Two ladies did my pedicure and my toes were perfect, if this isn’t one of the best salons in this area, I don’t know what is.

I have been using this nail shop since I could get my nails done, lovely people, listen to what you want and will always fix any problems. Shape is always beautiful and acrylic application lasts long- longest retention I’ve had is 6 weeks - 10/10

The people there are always nice and friendly and they do a nice job with your nails. They do tend to get quite busy but they work through the que quickly. It's my local nail shop and I go there all the time. Would definitely recommend

This shop does absolutely everything and the range of colours in phenomenal. Very reasonably priced for such high quality. Only downfall is not being able to book appointments as waiting times for this popular shop can be long.

The pedicure was good, but the interaction with the person that gave me the pedicure didn't say a word to me but communicated with pushing and pulling my feet. The only conversation we had was when they told me the price!

It's a walk-in salon, has a friendly atmosphere. You get whoever beautician that is available when you turn up. (The photo looks different to the actual salon, though)
