Good team but unreasonable manager! We just spent over an hour in the store today making up our mind on what shoes to buy. All customer service team was very helpful. The Slovenian girl (trainee, she didn't have a name tag) served us well. She was patient and professional. She quite professionally sold us the second pair too! The shoes I was buying was not cheap $50-shoes, it was $249.95. Nevertheless somehow she managed to sell us a second pair (completely different style) for another $249.95 plus accessories! Good job! Yes, it took 1+ hour (I'm not the easiest person to convince). It took dedication and patience and courtesy, and multiple going backwards and forwards, and she involved two other team members who were wearing the shoes to give their opinion, and she looked after my relative who was with me in the shop (she got her to try something else while waiting). She addressed all my 'fears' and 'uncertainties' and finally we came to the cashier to pay. I got out cash and began counting. Now, I'm a loyal Ecco customer (at least I used to be until today), I had recently bought expensive shoes there (twice), one pair right in the same store, so I had two $50 discount vouchers. The girl thought it was ok to use them. The condition on the voucher was to 'spend $250 or more in store' and I was buying two pairs for $249.95 each. Oh yes, it is 5c less than $250, right? Now came the store manager - young Indian girl (Dhaki or something) She took over the sale and said that because it was 5c less than $250, she can't give me a discount. I tried to reason that I was also buying shoe accessories and that the total value of each transaction would be over $250. Yet, she adamantly refused and insisted that only the price of shoes can be counted. So she completely killed the sale! All hard work her team has done, all this time was completely wasted. I just shook my head in disbelieve and we quietly left buying nothing. C'mon guys... if you're in sales, what would you do? Would you kill the sale because of $50? And lose a loyal customer? I have nothing bad to say about that girl, the manager... She may be a nice person, but I feel she doesn't understand the customers and phycology of sales. Maybe she is right - she told me it was the company policy - but then it reflects badly on Ecco - misleading customers with their discount vouchers. Anyway, this was my experience and advise I can give - do not go to the store when the manager is on duty.

They did not bother to greet upon entrance, and stood at a distance giving dead stares! Very poor customer service! Such a shame
5 stars for the Asian girl name Jasmine. I lost my receipt after purchasing and needed some information from it, called once, the girl answered phone said she couldn’t email me an digital version and will call me back in 10mins. So I waited, for nearly 2 hours. Then I called again, Jasmine picked it up and read out all information I needed through the phone also offered to email me a digital version as well. Apparently they do able to email. What a surprise.
Can’t speak highly enough about the shoes. Very comfortable and reliable. 5 starts for the shoes. The one star is for a staff member who told me that she will give me 20% off if I’ll buy two pairs of shoes. When I came to buy both of them, she was trying to sell me with a current sale that wasn’t promising to me and I was returned for that 20%. Sadly that she was lied to just bring customers back. Again, the shoes are amazingly comfy.
Horrible customer service. Angry attitude when I asked to try a bigger size half an hour after I bought the shoes. She asked me to sit there wait for 20 minutes without any intention to service me. When I approached her she just said back to me with an angry voice without even looking at me. 'Just sit I will come back to you'. Horrible store. Wont come back again.
Never had Ecco before but heard good things from the internet. Went in just to look at a pair of sandals for my mum with no intention to buy but with the help of young Annie, I ended up buying work shoes for myself and sandals for my mum. No sale was on, just purely genuine and professional service. Thank you Annie for looking after us and making us feel at home.
I had walked into Ecco shoes on many occasions but never purchased till I met Imeh at Chadstone. Imeh was professional, helpful and informative, I walked out with 2 pairs of shoes, a belt and 3 bottles of shoe protection/ care. I am very happy with the shoes I purchased and will return to buy golf shoes one day, Thanks Imeh.

Came in store to change some shoes I purchased last week and Yvette helped me. She was the brightest, most friendly person ever. She was patient, gave me plenty of options and made me feel like a valued customer. She absolutely made my weekend with her smile and wonderful service.
The customer service given by Meg the Store Manager was outstanding. Her level of service excellence was above and beyond customer expectations. Meg has excellent product knowledge. We left the stire feeling totally satisfied. Meg is an ambassador fir the Ecco organisation.
The quality of the shoes were a lot better in the past. They are not as comfortable as they used to be... not sure what has changed.. this review has nothing to do with this specific shop. Ecco in general is not as good as it was before.

Shoes are the worse quality you can get. Our shoes shoe broke after 3 and a half hours of wearing. I’ve posted photo.
