I would break my review down into two parts: Administration - 1 star I had numerous problems in this area. Upon booking my first appointment, I made the payment but did not get a confirmation so had to ring up and ensure everything had gone through; it hadn't so lucky I checked. Next, after my second appointment, I expected to be sent some kind of receipt or invoice, as there are four tiers of costs for a follow-up and I wasn't sure which mine was. The next I knew £73 was taken out of my account. Not only was this towards the higher end, I was not given any written confirmation before or after. At this second appointment, I was told to come back in two weeks. A further appointment was not made and I fully accept this could have been my fault, however when you are paying such a large sum, I would expect to be at least reminded to book something. As it turned out there was nothing for at least three weeks, and when I asked to book this it had gone, extending it to four. Therefore I was looking at four weeks, instead of two, between appointments. Treatment - 3 stars My treatment wasn't bad, though I did feel it was inferior to that I had with the NHS, which is of course free. My physio was professional and perfectly nice, but I did feel he was slightly bored/disinterested at my first appointment. Again, this is with the cost in the back of my head. Fundamentally though, had the admin not been messed up as above, I would have returned. Summary: I am leaving this review to temper expectations as when I first looked for a local physio, I read this page and expected a lot. As it turned out I was disappointed. If you've got the money and need an appointment soon, then do give it a go but for me it was not as good as using the NHS.

I have been working with George regularly for two years now after picking up a stress fracture in my leg whilst training for the marathon. From injury diagnosis, recovery and getting back into a sustainable practice, I’ve had full trust in George every step of the way. I’ve appreciated how George takes time and care to tailor support to the patient factoring in their overall lifestyle and not just the immediate matter in hand. Whether it’s sports massage, putting in place a functional training plan, dry-needling, liaising with your GP etc, I’ve felt listened to and informed. Even when I’m hopefully back up to a regular running practice, I intend to continue working with them to improve my overall sports performance which is one of the many offerings the practice can also support with.

I started having physio after getting pain in my neck and back because I sit infront of a laptop all day. I have also started doing more running and wanted to make sure my technique wasn't going to cause me injury after having a little pain in my knee. George ran numerous tests to analyse and fully understand the root cause of my pain. He slowly and clearly took me through exercises and has given me a program which is really helping. The service is very professional and at no time felt rushed. It's also very cool having the studio right in the middle of the Olympic Velodrome track! Will definitley go again.

I saw George for around 20 sessions following hip surgery. George was brilliant - he was very invested in my recovery and would constantly spot issues with my body that were not directly linked to my surgery but which might be impacting on my recovery. For me, this proved that George was engaged for the duration of our sessions. His treatment methods are innovative and his sessions are well balanced (i.e. a good mix of massage, dry needling and exercises). George went over and above on a number of occasions, for example by checking in with me once I had stopped seeing him.

Great rehab sessions with professional physio! I saw George for sessions on sore ITB/knees before my last half marathon. He loosened off areas that were causing me lots of pain, analysed my running technique & suggested amends ahead of race day. I ran a PB on a very tough course, so have nothing but good things to say (except I’ve already booked follow-ups for further running evaluations).

I recommend Dale Walker (he works on Thursdays). So far, in 2 sessions he has been able to identify a few potential causes to a problem I have been having for some time now. He uses many different techniques, so I am impressed. Also I like the exercises he recommends to me and the fact that are easily seen online.

Superb! I was advised by an NHS physiotherapist that it was better to see a private physiotherapist than an NHS one and so after shortlisting around 20 different places it proved to be that East London Physio was the only top-notch place to go to! This is the one guys!

Had to come back and give one star - came to John for lower back issues and discovered two years later that the lower back issues were due to weak hamstrings. Paid for a half an hour session to get a list of wrong exercises focused on glutes.
