Visited East Park for the 1st time during the Music City Hot Chicken Festival on 4th of July. Park was packed with people, vendors and musicians yet there was still plenty of room to sprawl out - wish there were more shaded area and picnic benches to accomodate the crowd. The kids playground area was slightly shaded with a few picnic benches. There were many trash cans around the park but festival organizers would be wise to furnish additional ones for festivals as all cans were full and garbage was overflowing onto the floor and street when the wind was blowing - let's keep Nashville clean! The park is located within a beautiful neighborhood with many historic architectural homes, another reason to visit the area.

I've been trying to put more effort into getting enough exercise, so I've been going to different local parks in my part of town. East Park is smaller than other parks, but has enough paved area and sidewalks to get in a good walk. My only complaint is that there is some garbage on the grounds and the smell of urine...most likely from vagrant individuals. I hate that people are living this way, but isn't someone in charge of making sure parks are clean? I will come back, but please, Metro Parks and Rec...keep it clean.

Great after school care and childrens summer camp. I have sent my children here for the past 3 almost 4 years and I know all the staff, myself and my children love them. The staff do their best to accommodate to seldom tardiness of parents and are very good at reporting all occurrences worthy of reporting. Great job, keep it up✨✨✨ Congratulations!

Nice big park surrounded by homes so not too much traffic. Also near a school so probably gets busy on school days. There is a great mix of kids and adults. There is also a community center which may have bathrooms available. The parking lot was packed even though the park wasn't too crowded, so may have to park and walk.

Metro Community Center East Park is my favorite. The workout machine selection is excellent. Price is better than the Y and it has an indoor pool. Downfall. Closes at noon on Saturday and not open Sunday. Til 8:30pm M-Thu and til 7:30pm on Friday. On Woodland and 6th street.

This facility is awesome, it has a FREE indoor walking track and the other amenities are very low dollar ($3) to use like indoor swimming pool, weight room, dance classes etc. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help with questions or accommodations.

Convenient place to take your little one or just sit and relax yourself. There's a relaxing vibe type feeling safe place if u have to use the rest room there are toilets inside and out and they are clean I use it and my kids use them as well More

a nice park in the west of Nashville. I spent the independence day here. Every year at the time the hot chicken festival takes place here. A very nice event. Yeah, I'm every year for independence day. I can only recommended it to everyone.

Came for the Tennessee hot chicken festival, and oh boi was the scran good. Large variety of chicken and food stands for everyone to enjoy. There appeared to be a very high police presence but coming from Europe maybe this is a normal

My baby shower was here. They were accommodating and helpful. If you have an event ir party to plan check here first they are reasonably priced and stay open as late as you need. I appreciate thaf it gives back to my community as well.

Attended a graduation party in the community center. It's a great facility. The parking was a bit frustrating, there was an even in the park. They don't designate parking even if u rent out the center. But overall it's a great space.

Very beautiful Park I've been going here since the 1990s I originally learned Yang style Tai chi here, there is a swimming pool ping-pong a camp for children, Zumba,and so many other programs for the youth and the adults in the area.

Nice, clean park to go to. I like the basketball gym they have. Also they have a workout room as well. The only thing, you have to go during certain hours. They have pre-planned events for the kids throughout the week.

Went to hot chicken festival on July 4. Great fun! Free watermelon. Great chicken. Ice cream booth portions were too small and lemonade booth needed way more workers. Fun music on stage local folks

Awful customer service from the supposed facility planner, for the price they charge for an event and won't allow you to set up tables and chairs the day before or day off event. Ridiculous!

Great rooms for rent to accommodate whatever your needs are. We were there celebrating my Mother's 90th Birthday. The space was nice, and the workers showed excellent customer service.

Ok the man in the pool area Mr Jerry is nice and wont let me go above five feet. He remembers me telling him that i didnt know how to swim and i appreciated that!! Nice man.

I like how you can set up different activities I like how they have different sections out for you to have baby showers meetings or whatever and it's just a beautiful place

It's where me and my fiance first met I love this place it's beautiful clean and fun for animals . Beautiful view of the clouds and lots of lightning bugs in the summer

Thus is a great local park. It has some a cool community center, good toddler park, cool climbing structure, and big open fields. There are also some ball fields.

Love this park, it's big and clean and not overly crowded They have an awesome youth center with gym equipment. Every city should have a park like this!! …

Great park but there can be some people hanging out that are a little suspect. Go during the day and everything should be fine, can get a little dodgy at night.

This park is great. Well-maintained, nice facilities, good playground. The grass is mowed regularly and it hosts a number of awesome free events in the summer.

Nice place to go work out at if you don't have a membership. They offer day passes have a inside track that you can run or walk on if it's to hot or cold.

My kids love this park! Great water features, fun playground equipment, and they will play in the hollows for hours. Excellent place for imaginary play.

Nice community center. Great yoga class. Work out machines I'll hit later more that I know they are there. Great resource for us East Nashvillians

I wasnt really in the park but walked from Russel Rd to downtown Nashville safely on a gorgeous saturday afternoon.

Very Nice Park across from the Turnip Truck! I was there for the Hot Chicken Festival and it was great as usual.

I came here for a wedding it was so beautiful. It is a good place to have a small gathering for any occasion.

Not a great place for a festival. They ran out of some food before lunchtime. And parking on the street.

Crawfish Festival was a good time! Easy parking, be sure to bring your chairs or blankets for seating.

Nice park and play ground. Only draw back is there's a lot of homeless people sleeping on the benches.
