"Was great visit"
"I love eating here with my family and the place looks so cool, they always have cool lights and things hanging from the ceiling such as a vintage motorcycle, they food is very good, I usually prefer just chicken fingers but everything else is great too like the pasta, they also have AMAZING bread and once you finish the first one they give you more!! The Italian wedding soup is very good I've heard from my family but they say that every time you get a refill they add less and less meatballs so that sucks but it's still great"
This afternoon I went here with my fiancee for a nice lunch date. Upon arrival I immediately noticed how cold the air was as well as no one waiting for us to be seated. I then see that theres a clown horn I have to push in order to alert someone I have arrived, despite 3 employees in the back looking at me and going back to chatting with one another (work related or not pls proritize customer. Espescially if its regarding training). Once approached by an employee, I requested a booth and the gentleman seating us made it obviously clear that hed rather be anywhere but here seating us. Once seated we were quickly werved drinks and appetizers. However food cannot stay at appropriate eating temperatures due to how cold the restaurant was. I ordered the 3 cheese ravioli which was enjoyable despite the underripe still green unchewable tomatoes. The arugula gives a nice bite through the smooth sauce unfortunately it too had raw stems. It is a dish with some potential. A hearty serving of 6 (3 inch raviolis) and mighty flavors within the light sauce. I also entertained the thought of trying a new drink and ordered their Violet Iced Tea Lemonade which did not disappoint in the slightest. Their unlimited appetizers left room for disappointment unfortunately. For the price of things; a less processed crouton would be more appropriate. Lastly I would like to take note of their approach regarding gluten. If you're allergic no charge. If its a preference there is a charge. Dissecting peoples diseases shouldnt be a goal of a restaurant/food establishment. Server was very friendly and social making the ending of our lunch pleasurable experience.

its not appropriate to ask someone to specify their preferances vs. allergies. As someone who is on the spectrum my preferences are part of my disease.
Decided to dine in since we had ordered skip one night and enjoyed it. Brought our family of 5 it started out strong with minimal wait on getting our drinks and food order placed. However that’s where it took a turn for the worse. I had ordered a house salad and soup for my mains which came out at the same time as everyone else’s starters which ultimately left me sitting there awkwardly as everyone else ate, after an ungodly long wait for their mains. Even after waiting so long the pastas were both rubbery and dry making 75% of the dishes inedible, the pizza that came out was okay at best. One of the kids said theirs was “meh” and the other commented saying “it’s dry, even the pineapple is dry”. My house salad I ordered (due to the fact I’m vegetarian) had a hair in it when I arrived which I decided to just eat around since our server/bartender was nowhere to be found. Later found bacon in it at which point I called it quits, the tomato soup I ordered tasted like glorified tomato sauce. Overall was a waste of our time and money, won’t be back and won’t order take out again due to the fact they clearly don’t care and have subpar kitchen standards. Our server saw the untouched food and not so much as asked how anything was, not even once. Save yourself this experience and call it a pass.

Last time when it was packed the food was delicious the service was great we came back today when it was dead only 3 other tables and it was the worst experience I've had in a restaurant. 1. We waiting at the front waiting to be seated for around 5 minutes 2. We ordered mozzarella sticks (only reason we went back) and the first batch was frozen on the inside 3. The second batch was frozen on the inside. We talked to a manager and he said the chef won't make another bat h because he's made 2 and both were sent back we could have any other app and when we refused he said "well it's a free app" with quite a bit of attitude. We offered to pay for the salads we ate as our food wasn't out yet and the manager said it's fine it'll be on them with attitude again We won't go back.

When serving salad, may I suggest wedges of lemon be offered with the did and the garlic and oregano was great with the Ceasar which Evan got for me as as not enough garlic for me. Ceasar Sauce a little bland. But condos for cutting up lettuce correctly. No hard pieces to choke on. Iate every last bite. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Worst East side Mario‘s experience ever. First they try to rip me off with a 32 ounce pitcher of beer. When I questioned my server Gina, I was told I was wrong. After escalating the issue to the manager Owen, he brought out 2/2 beers to bring up the ounces to the standard 54. We ordered Parm sliders which came with 1/3 the regular amount of chicken. I again spoke with the manager and he said he would raise the issue with the kitchen, but no compensation was offered. If you want to eat at East Side Mario’s in Kingston, take a few extra minutes and drive to the one on division Street. At least they are not ripping off their customers! P.S. our server Gina never said thank you one time and her rudeness made us feel uncomfortable. Brutal! Edit: Gave back a star because corporate called and gave me $20 gift card.
Used to be our favourite place for dinner when we went out. Unfortunately tonight was pretty awful. Arrived around 4:15, when there was only a couple tables occupied yet it took 30 minutes to get seated. Once seated, it was another half an hour to place our order. Once our food came, we were missing a kids dish and another 15 minute wait to get that. The food was quite terrible compared to our past experiences. Pasta dishes were seriously lacking sauce, chicken parm bites were over cooked. Two of the servers were standing around talking poorly about another server, was an unpleasant time from the moment we walked in. Hopefully this hasn't become the normal

Well I am severely disappointed. Was having a great day spending time with NY mom and shopping. Stopped I here for some lunch. Ordered the seafood luiginini. Once it was delivered to the table, it had a burnt smell, I tried a bite and yep it was burnt. We tried several times to get someone's attention and barely got a server. Once told it was like oh ok. My mom was almost done her meal. I was asked would you like something else. I said what's the point she is almost done and I'd still be waiting. The service sucked, it wasn't even busy, the food was horrible and to get a bill we had to wait forever. If I could do a negative 0 I would.

Came in for lunch with the little one. Got spaghetti with butter and parm for my daughter and club wrap for myself. Food was barely lukewarm. Club wrap was pretty bad so thank god the fries were decent even though they were cold. Asked for two club sodas with lime. Got two club sodas with lemons because they “ran out” of limes(got to the restaurant at 12pm). Table was sticky. This is just a heads up to management because normally I’ve never had a problem with this eastsides. Their Hells Kitchen Chicken has been spot on every time. Anyways…they dropped the ball today.

We visited this location last Saturday and had a terrible experience. We waited about 20 minutes for our waiter. When he finally arrived, we ordered our drinks and food. We waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks - and had to ask the host at the front to get them for us. We waited another 25 minutes and decided to leave since customers who arrived after us were being served their food before us. The service was very poor and we weren’t checked on once. We were still charged for the bread, salad and drinks and didn’t receive any sort of apology. Will not return to this location.

Always enjoy when we got to east side Mario’s. This location is easy to access and has friendly staff. They had a robot helping to serve food which was interesting to watch. We enjoyed our dishes and as always loved the all you can eat salad and bread.

Definitely kid friendly but music and background noise a little loud for babies.
Our large family recently had dinner at this location and had a fantastic experience with our server Kasey. While restaurant was very busy, Kasey was extremely efficient and explained all the steps to ordering for a large party so the whole process went quickly and smoothly. The food and drinks came out promptly and everything was delicious. While it was busy, we did not feel rushed at any point, and Kasey took the time to chat with our party and make us feel welcome. Another staff member also came over to congratulate one of our family members on a milestone that we were celebrating. Great experience overall.

Visited on Tuesday and although our food was very good as usual our service was terrible. It took long for our order to be taken. Another staff had to cover. Then when asked if everything was okay we asked for another salad and drinks. He never brought them we had to ask again. We never were offered bread had to ask for it. As well it was extremely slow service And only 7 tables of customers. We were so disappointed. Usually its great here.

Definitely not worth $75 order for takeout. Cauliflower pizza and pasta dinner for 2. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Food was cold, portions were small, barely any sauce on pasta. Look like vomit really. The pizza taste burnt. We had accidentally order the food for 6:45 online. I called right after to change the time, but I feel like the food was probably made at the original time and left to sit. Tried calling the restaurant to let them know, but no one answers the phone. Needless to say, will probably never go back there.
Just wanted to give a big shout out to Madison the hostest. We went to this location Friday July 21 @615pm. It was extremely busy and we had a weird request for a table for 5 plus a highchair. She was so sweet and was trying her best to get us a table as soon as she could and kept us updated on the situation. I felt so sorry for her as she was getting pulled in every direction and just wanted to praise her for keeping calm and getting through it! We also enjoyed our food!

Kyle C. offered us the best service we've had in a long time. He went over and above every step of the way. I cannot say enough good things about him and I hope this finds its way to him and his manager. I would go back just for his service it was so good. So pleasant to deal with and an ideal employee. My family hopes to see him there again!

The atmosphere is okay. The menus should probably be upgraded. My guests found the menu old, dirty and sticky. We pointed it out to server. I felt bad for him as he did a great job considering what he has to deal with. Food items were nice. They give you a good amount of food. There was a small error with the pasta meal. We were given chicken instead of shrimp. My guest loved it nonetheless. The restaurant was really quiet. A seniors group in the corner, a few families and a couple with a dog.
Was told we couldn't have a booth so I asked for a table not in the middle of everything as I was shown my table I could have had a booth it just needed to be cleaned off I got to my table witch is where I asked not to be seated the chair had salt all over the seat and the small table for 3 was sticky like it wasn't washed off properly... I doubt I'll return to this restaurant. P.s I didn't order food I left and went to Montana's

Food and service were great, however small plates were dirty - even the second set they brought out. (Greasy, they need a good scrub or their dishwasher isn't working well) bit of a long wait, considering what we ordered... And my husband's salad came out with his meal instead of before. In fact it was forgotten and we had to ask about it. Usually have a good experience here but today they were just a bit off.

Salad used to be one of my favourite parts of the meal. However, they have now swapped out the croutons for a way cheaper version. Menu prices have increased and is not really justified-$20 plus dollars for spaghetti with no meat, really?? New waitress so will give her the benefit of the doubt but she forgot our drinks, forgot our salad and messed up my dinner order.

First time at East Side Mario's, didn't really know what to expect. I liked the soup and the fact that it was all you can eat bread, soup, and salad. The main dishes didn't impress at all, I got the carbonara but it tasted like Alfredo instead. Could try it one time just to know what it offers but most likely won't be visiting again.

Always a great selection & good prices. My wife and I were sat right away by the bar. My wife had cheese capaletti and i the chicken parm. it was cooked well, large portion. My wedding soup , delish. Our server was spectacular and we had an over the top experience. Her boyfriend the bartender was amazing and prepared all our dri gs spectacular.

Tried to reserve, they would not, went there and they had plenty of tables empty but told us there was an hour wait minimum… we showed them the tables but no, the waitress from the bar came to ask them what was going on but she just did not want a 9 people table… We felt like eating there but felt there was some kind of power trip at the door. Left and went somewhere else where we felt welcomed.
I don't think the hamburger patties come in frozen not made fresh. Disappointed. Salad was great! It just didn't come fast enough with the seconds, thirds....... 5 of my friends who are with me all had pasta dishes and enjoyed them.

Had a great meal and wonderful service on Fri Jan 12/24. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the lasagne. Both hot and tasty. Caesar salad and bread beforehand was excellent, too. April and the young lady who brought us our food (and offered Parmesan) were both friendly and clearly taking pride in their work. We will be back!

Easy in and easy out, the food was good and the bread was warm! My friends and I went on a Friday evening so the place was busy around the dinner hour, but we were never left waiting for too long. The staff was quick and the food came out within a reasonable amount of time. Not my first pick, but it was a good experience regardless.
Mussels are tricky to serve safely. My husband had two on his plate that had failed to open. The 20% that the manager took off of our bill is pretty small compared to the real risk of food poisoning.
