My child had an accident which i wasn't sure if i should send him to the ER or a doctor surgery. I rang this practice because they usually have appointment available on the same day. I explained our situation to the receptionist on the phone, she said "you should go to the hospital' and couldn't hang up on me fast enough. My child was in distress and i was in a slight panic, her lack of sympathy certainly didn't help. We should always treat this practice as a go-to place for repeat scripts only from now on. If you want personal care and good treatment, this is not the place for you.

I have nothing but praise for the doctors and staff at this surgery. The Drs are friendly, thorough, don't rush through the appointment time, and most importantly they have patience with children. The staff are friendly and make things as easy as possible for patients. Yes, some may find it disappointing that they no longer bulk bill, however the Medicare rebate covers more than half of the fee.

My family are very complimentary of the Doctors at this Practice, the Receptionist a very different story, rude, overly officious all round very unpleasant! Should have read all other reviews beforehand! Most are of the same opinion. If i could have given no stars would have. ( obviously Practice Managers do not regard reviews as important, nothing seems to have changed in 2 years!)

Extremely rude receptionist at Howrah practice. Entered our details into the system wrong and was unapologetic. Refused to pre-book an appointment over the counter for us. We have previously been left waiting in the waiting room forgotten after booking our appointments and arriving on time on a couple of occasions at the Bellerive clinic. We do not recommend this practice.

Every single decent doctor this place had, has left. Receptionists are stuck up and rude. Patients get treated like gum stuck in their shoes. Complaints get ignored and the doctors that are left are incompetent and couldn't diagnose their way out of their rooms. Getting a booking when needed is near impossible too. Will never go back!

Very bad experience.... called in today due to an emergency situation for the appointment, requested if any type of adjustment was possible (for my baby boy) the receptionist started yelling for no reason. I was very shocked by here reaction. I am a regular patient here, but overall a very sour experience today.

Inept, deceitful and pretty much daylight robbery. You might as well donate the exorbitant fee these people try to charge patients for a substandard service and find a real doctor elsewhere who has basic ethics, knowledge, expertise and a moral compass that this place lacks.

Conveniently located. Plenty of parking. Medicare rebate takes care of the (pretty standard in my experience) cost a few reviewers are complaining about. I also have been given free appointments for a prescription repeat (not always, but sometimes). Friendly staff.

This practice is very highly priced compared to some other practices. My husband just needed a repeat script, they insisted on a consultation and charged $83. We'll look for another doctor thanks.

Simply needed my script for an anti depressant printed and they can't even do that and wouldn't even assist with anything further. Great support for mental health here, just discarded like trash

The doctors here are fantastic, I've seen many on different occasions and would rate them a 10/10. The reception staff on the phones however are rude and unhelpful almost every time I call.

Friendly and thorough medical practice. The doctors I've seen here have always taken the time to answer questions and address any concerns. Never feel rushed.

Rude receptionists who completely ignore you when you are standing there wanting to check in. A general acknowledgement if busy wouldn't go astray.

The bedside manner of the old nag that answered the phone needs to be seen to immediately. Sounds like she needs putting out to pasture.

Friendly staff and the doctor I saw didn't rush the consult, took his time and asked lots of questions which is always appreciated

Was told no follow up required from my MRI. Got a second opinion from a different surgery that immediately found a fracture

They don't take new patient. Isn't it funny?

Insensitive and 'cold' reception staff.

Does not bulk bill any more.
