It was my first time coming here. We were looking for specific dresses and the first store did not have what we needed. We walked further in and we walked towards "Fashions Factory Direct". The gentlemen who worked there greeted us warmly. There were so many dresses to choose from but, we needed something specific. Hamid is so very kind and knowledgeable. He helped me to dress all of my daughters and he knew exactly what was needed. The prices are reasonable and the merchandise is absolutely beautiful. Hamid is the best. Thank you, Hamid for all of your help that day. I would highly recommend coming here. I will be back.

I enjoy the Eastgate square because it offers a variety of stores and the food court has great options. There's always lots of people in the food court but you can still find a seat. The public washrooms leave a little to be desired as they aren't cleaned often enough for my liking. I use the accessible stall and have had to use a regular stall and leave my mobility device outside because the accessible stall was too dirty to use. At least the other stalls gave me a clean option. Otherwise this mall is great place to spend an afternoon.

It’s a problem to find decent food. Hair salon is overpriced and won’t take the coupon they advertised. I don’t know who rated the food OK? In 2021, the Asian place charged 4 dollars for egg rolls. Now, they are always BURNED and they keep raising the prices of the other foods, not what you want. If you’re in a hurry, shop somewhere different. I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes the next place to escape the cold for everyone that has affordability problem to keep a roof over their head.

It's obvious the stores are looted constantly as security is everywhere. It is uncomfortable to shop being followed at least once per trip. All of the "fun" and Brand Name stores are moving out. The Shoppers is fantastic. Even though they have the highest security, obvious surveillance and some occasionally nervous looking staff, they manage to tow the line of helping customers without adding to the "I'm watchingvyou" vibe. I don't believe the existing stores will have long term employees.

What makes me confused is why do some stores open later than others? When the mall is open all the stores should the stores should be open... Not an hour later! Or back in 5 minutes and you wait 20 minutes. Also why is the food court closing so much earlier than the rest of the mall? Covid is over, well sort of...it's a flu! If you want to be competitive open the hours that you use to and demand that the stores and food court do the same

This mall is just as empty as Jackson square. With the upcoming renovations I'm thinking retailers are preparing for the worse and got smart and just moved out. No real brand name stores to shop at.. Limeridge is where its at. Still. Quick pit stop for a coffee and washroom break while in the area, grab a quick meal since the food court is right there as well at the front doors. Plenty of parking near beer store side.

Just visiting after moving from Hamilton but popped in to get something to eat and look around - and also cool off a bit. Gotta love Jimmy the Greek. Mall seemed surprisingly nice and well kept for the general area. Nice to see folks out as normal after these hard times, especially for malls. Hardly anyone wearing masks but each to his own now. Definitely would come again.

Needed to return something to Cogeco store here - gal working at Cogeco was wonderful, she was speedy/friendly/excellent at her job! *Note: found the staff at Eastgate to be very helpful, was my first time there and didn't know where the Cogeco store was - had two employees of the mall (cleaning staff + security personnel) assist with locating the store

Started walking here yesterday with my Motherinlaw... we would pop into some stores. I was very impressed with the store clerks...when they could not help us with our search they recommended us to another store in the mall! Now that's good old friendly sharing of customer service! Thank you for the fabulous shopping experience! Will see you often!

The mall is fairly clean, and the stores are a pretty great variety. From collectables to clothes, food to household needs. They have pretty much everything you would need to go to a mall for. And the parking lots are fairly massive so it's easy to find spots. Favorite store there personally is gamestop. The staff there are really great.

Ordered a new bike online, had it setup and picked up 3-4 days later, no issues. The gentleman in the bike department was friendly and knowledgeable at pickup. The email notification system from the bike department needs to be restructured, but they are aware of this, and it was explained to me prior to pickup.

No one can deny this mall has seen better days. Fortunately they were finally able to rent out the space the old Sears occupied. There seem to be more and more vacant retail spaces and kiosks here however which is unfortunate because this is a very well placed mall geographically.

Someone smashed my car mirror off on purpose an the security there was no help. There's no cameras protecting the cars or the walk way enter here at your own risk . Some people there need to be put in a loonie bin photo or video of guy hitting my mirror watch out for him

I used to visit that Mall for 24 years (just moved out of the area). I enjoyed its uncomplicated layout and the fact that it is not very big. For this size of a mall it has most needed stores and services. Clean inside and outside. Also it has sufficient parking lot.

A very small mall. Once they close, they are super quick at closing their doors. There are a lot of no name and unheard of stores. Food court is tiny, but all the restaurants are very well known. Doesn't take long to walk the mall, nothing really stood out.

A great place to shop and have a quick snack with your family and friends . Convenient and free parking as well. Has Shoppers , Fortinos , Body Shop , Winners etc … Catching a bus after going ever more easy as the bus terminal is few walks away

Very depressing mall. Many stores still vacant post covid. I wish they would attract more independent businesses to fill the empty space. I'd love to see some creativity in these kinds of retail spaces but it's just mall. Bland. Boring. Mall.

Lots of great stores but I find the security guards aren't as helpful as I'd hoped for. Parking can sometimes be an issue and having this as a bus holding area, traffic is often crazy. Otherwise it's a good experience with some great shops.

I have seen this mall change since 1998 when I moved here in Hamilton. The mall is very updated and stores also selected very well. Everything you need in a mall and the fortinos is always been a favourite for groceries.

I came to Eastgate Square once in a while to do window shopping, but I noticed that a lot of stores have gone out of business, and there aren't many stores left. It's kind of boring at this mall and needs more stores.

Nice mall, plenty of stores to serve all your needs. Lots of sitting areas especially since walking is difficult for me so they come in handy. If there are no sitting areas we would not be able to go to those malls.

Only made it to Cogeco, place is bright, yet made warm with the feel good posters, and other decor. Top notch customer service, from the technicians (hey Chris!) to in-person plus phone service (hey Natasha!).

Has a lot of amazing stores, the food court is a nice place to sit and chat. Aswell as the rideable animal place that's inside. Great entertainment for a kid and is always hit with my little one.

Absolutely great experience at Eastgate today. Went 2 visit the new Cogeco store and ended up changing over my services for an incredible deal. Sherri was amazing and made sure I left happy.

It's like your neighborhood shopping complex. You'll get everything here, but with limited choices. That got clothing, shoes, toys, candy stores, jewelry stores, everything.

Truly an excellent place to spend with family and friends during the high season is a good alternative to healthy recreation and excellent service highly recommended

Went there to grab an early dinner to take home. Sad to see that many of the stores have closed. The mall used to be really busy, but that changed even before Covid.

Security is rude and abrasive. They don’t even let you in the mall in the morning. Interesting strategy for a mall that is dying. Keep the customers outside.

Went to Sport Chek. Great service from staff. Went to food court and was not impressed not a clean table to be found... Some of us are immune compromised.

My experience was not that great. Soups I picked but was out of supply. The one ended up with was luke warm. The sandwich was OK. Maybe next time.

Was a great place to go for a lot of things. But I feel it is a mall slowly going away. All the places I used to go are gone. It is disappointing

Eastgate is a great mall to shop at! Plenty of stores, clean building, quality products and excellent staff! Will shop again!

It is a clean mall and well kept. It hurts to see how many people have lost their business. Quite a number shops are closed.

Indoor Malls seem to be dying so I'm glad we still have Eastgate. It could use some more new stores but it's still good

The mall is kept fairly clean and is very bright and easy to navigate. It's sad there are so many empty stores.

Used to be a much better mall 15 years ago. They should never have gotten ride of the pond and the Walmart.
