Decent private rooms but systems lacked artists and didn’t work properly sometimes. The girl there didn’t communicate to us properly and only mentioned that we would be charged on an hourly basis ($58/hour which is still quite a lot compared to other places). She also mentioned how whenever we paused the songs or whatever, we wouldn’t be charged. We sung for a total of 1 hour (I kept track). However, when we were ready to pay, the total was $89. We asked why we were being charged more than what we expected and she then told us that she charged us basically $1/minute after the hour was up ($58 for the hour + $31 extra for being in the room for a total of 88 minutes; the whole place was empty anyway so charging us extra for being in a room no one was waiting for is ridiculous). On top of that, when we were paying separately (we divided the bill into 6 portions), I noticed that we were being charged extra. $89 divided by 6 would’ve been about $15 but I saw that my friends were paying about $17. Right when I noticed, I asked her why we were being charged extra and she said a 15% tip was included in each portion. None of us were aware of this before paying, I had to ask her myself. It annoyed me how the bill she gave us said $89 but we actually paid a total of $102. Not sure if I can trust these guys again. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You can find a way better place that’s cheaper and better quality (like Soju).

Excellent service and fun place to practice singing for a singing competition! I had so much fun and was able to relieve all my pent-up stress (from work and family issues). The sound system is top-notch! Wireless microphones. Karaoke system is touch screen and easy to navigate IF you know Chinese/ Pinyin. Otherwise, make sure you bring a friend who knows Chinese. Server lady is super nice and courteous, and even nicer if you speak some Mandarin. She was super sweet and and service was prompt. The chicken wings I ordered were fresh, hot and crispy too- great as a midnight snack. FYI lounge area is no-charge for karaoke as long as you order something from the menu (drinks and/or food). We ordered chicken wings and two honey lemon teas. Will definitely be back! This seems to be one of the only karaoke lounges that are still open after COVID-19. FYI, despite Google hours, Barcode, (Former) Yakitori Grill, The Voice, and Mix Lounge are all CLOSED until further notice due to the ongoing pandemic. Echo was the only one open, and even they were very empty - so social distancing is not an issue.

Good private rooms, decently priced, easy to book but very limited song selection. Here’s why explained… We had a private room, and was a decent price for the size, the one downside is that there is very limited song selection. Much of the music was on the list but skipped as they didn’t have the “file” which was very sad to hear. Room had some nice lights and a modern system. Very large selection of mandarin music, decent English list (however very outdated and usually just the popular) Japanese and Korean is very limited to older songs and music. The one upside is that once you get the hang of the machine it was decently easy to look for songs. (Note: search by artist name rather than song name, works better) Customer service was great and very helpful. It was not a busy day for us as there doesn’t seem like there was too many people. Booking was very straightforwards using the phone on their website, the person answering the phone was very helpful and picked up even when I called before opening. Great experience but needs larger song selection.

Booking was impossible! We called so many times , almost every day for 2 weeks in a row and nobody answered. They have 2 different phone numbers, 1 on Google maps and the other one on their website, and NONE ARE RIGHT! Despite this we decided to show up, they were already booked. They say that they use an (asian whatsapp app) to book. WHY THEY DON'T POST THAT ON GOOGLE instead? So you have to download the app if you want to book. They have private rooms and also a main room with tables. They all light up all night and it's cool. Also they auto put 15% tip of whatever money you spend karaoke on your bill, and they charge per minute. We didn't even get food to charge us. I believe is like 58$ an hour per private room. Food is more like a full meal like noodles and meat and the tables are too low for that. There are some appetizers but there are not many options.

I am incredibly disappointed by the staff. I didn't order any drinks OR food and the cashier sneakily put 15% on all of our bills (we only had 4 people). She didn't give us a chance to select no tip and forced us to pay tips when she didn't even do anything. Tips are supposed to be something I choose, not forced upon me by staff, especially given my group was small. Additionally, the song selection is incredibly limited to older songs and the search function is abysmal. I try to search something and it doesn't show up, but I will find it after scrolling randomly for a long time. I cannot recommend coming here unless you can catch them from auto-forcing their tips and you're okay with a mediocre song list.

You should be careful when you pay with your credit or debit card. They might charge you tip for 15% without asking you any. I didn’t select the tip % before I paid so I wondered why they don’t need any, but I found I had paid tip when I looked at my receipt. They put 15% on as a tip into their machine although we did not order any food and drink. It happened not only me but all of my friends on the day. I’m not talking about the 15% is high or low. I think the price of tip should be decided by customers, not servers by themselves. We enjoyed Karaoke, and were feeling good before the payment, but the tip matter made us very sad, surprised, and disappointed.

ok, 1st: they lied to us about the price of the room, said 38 on the phone, but was actually 42, and then when we got there found out there was a 15% auto gratuity. 2nd the song chooser was awful. didn’t work, wasted 1/2 of our time trying to pick songs. completely stopped working at one point, asked for help, and they said that if the songs weren’t playing that meant they didn’t have them. but at that point we were pressing all the songs they had available and none worked. didn’t offer to comp for time wasted. do not waste yo time. i can see why it was empty. first time i’ve never had fun at karaoke :(

Our time was supposed to end at 11:35 pm (confirmed when we got into our room). At 11:10, one staff came into the room to remind us we had 15 min left. We started wrapping up. At 11:20, same person came in and stopped the music while we were still singing and told us the time is up. This is rude and unacceptable. We pointed out this is earlier than the expected end time, the employee didn’t apologize or adjust the fees charged, just handed out the credit card machine. Rude. We are not going back.

The room was very nice. It was hard to understand the karaoke machine because it was not in English or French. The music selection was very poor and not alot of verity. Drinks were all different prices for the same drink, any where from$6-$18. Staff was not overly friendly and there was not much for service. Friendliness goes along way in the service industry. I think next time we will try out the other Karaoke lounge in town.

It was clean establishment but a little tight in the room. Chinese song selection was decent but other languages including English and other Asian languages were quite lacking compared to other karaoke bars. They need a system upgrade or to download more songs. When we called to confirm if the room was available the guy quote us 28/hour, which we verbally double checked with him, but when it came time to pay he charged us ten dollars more at 38/hour. A bit disappointed that they did that.

The experience was good, you got to sing on a stage, sing a variety of music ranging from English songs to a lot of Asian songs. This is good if you know someone who is able to communicate in Mandarin because everything is Mandarin from the service to your machines you're going to be using. Went on my birthday and it seemed like the service was trying to get us out and I even forgot my cake there. Would recommend if you have knowledge with Mandarin or friends who can read Mandarin

Awesome karaoke equipment and they have stages in rooms! Rooms are pretty spacious. Snacks are delicious. Servers may get a little pushy on their menu but I guess they are just doing their job. Service speed is on par with any other karaoke I have been to. Make sure you book in advance though as this place sure looks busy. Con: a little too down south. A 20-25 minutes drive from downtown. A great place to hang out nevertheless. Try their squid dough. I absolutely love it.

The karaoke system here is very advanced, and all the rooms are private!!! You can get all ur service in the room, unless you are going to bathroom or a smoke. The services there are fast and relatable. Front table staff are very humor there, I forgot his name but there was a guy who served us on the day we went there. It makes me feel comfortable and privacy going to this place. It would be much more better if they can update the song more.

Very good karaoke place! Private rooms, drinks and food available for order, and a great selection of songs! Sometimes, some songs won't queue but it didn't happen to us often. Probably my new favourite place to go for karaoke 2021 Update: Definitely still my go-to place for karaoke. Staff and atmosphere is still great. The only thing I'll say is I kinda wish they had some newer English songs but nonetheless, their song list is still solid.

Best karaoke and bar in the city! The control system for the karaoke is the easiest one to use out of other places in Edmonton and had a ton of songs to choose from as well, even older songs too! Their food was excellent as well as were the drinks. The price is pretty good based on how modern and clean the environment was. The bartenders was all very nice as well! Definitely one of the best places to hang out in Edmonton! 100% recommend!

I had my birthday party there last Saturday and it was fantastic!!! The staffs there are so kind and welcoming. Me and the girls had a great party time, the song collection is huge, for English songs. And staffs are so patiently teach us how to use the system. strong recommend this place for parties. (we had 9people and went to a medium room and it’s private!!) I’m sure I’ll come back. Awesome place!!!!

Lied about the price and didn’t let us know about the 15% gratuity. The system was incredibly confusing with a horrible selection. Water low key tasted funky idk what that was. It's the BEST KARAOKE in the city!!! Massive song library, including English, Korean etc. The staff will patiently show you how to use the song selection system. AWSOME SERVICE AND AMAZING DRINKS & FOOD. Such a nice place to hangout with friends. U will find out a totally different and amazing karaoke experience there!

This is such a cooooool place!!! The private rooms are beautiful. However the karaoke system is in Chinese but the guy who works there were teaching us very detailed and patiently. it took us only 2 mins to figure it out. They charge rooms per hours but doing it on minutes, so we won’t get charge more or less. I love this place!!!!!

Been this place couple times. Perfect place for parties. Sing collocation is huge with lots different language. The private is fancy!! And the staffs there are very kind. Definitely gonna come back.

I went here with a co-worker on a Friday night hoping to sing some karaoke. Let just say the establishment was not friendly to non Chinese. They wouldn't even give us a room because there was only 2 of us. And the karaoke machine in the lounge was set to Chinese only and they can't change it for paying customers.

Friendly services. Reasonable price. They have some Chinese snacks and noodle bowls. A little expensive but expected for a night lounge. Their karaoke equipment is pretty neat. Sound is very quality. The song ordering system let's you use your phone (wechat) app to order. Best karaoke in town at the moment.

Not much selection of songs and the language of the karaoke machine is Chinese so it is very hard to understand if you dont know the language. But the rooms were nice and had a lot of space with a stage and many mics. But if song selection is most important I dont reccomend this karaoke place.

On the website should be mentioned on a front page that a reservation needed. We came there on a Friday night around 8 pm only to be told its by reservation only. Cost us a taxi both ways. The staff was rude and not helpful. It looks like that place is for Oriental only.

Cheap karaoke and a good selection of Chinese songs. But the service is bad, the server does not knock the door before interrupting the singing and repeatedly advertise for their food menu. Came in a big group but was forced into a small room with everyone being squished.

Went there last week to celebrate my bestie’s birthday! Definitely, we had so much fun there. Staffs are nice and quickly react even though I broke a glass and asked to add hot water during their rush hours. I think I'd love to recommend this place to everyone.

First time there... didn't let us know they charged per hour and ended up paying $75 to sit in a room and do karaoke... not including food or alcohol. Wasn't told at all even though we Saud we had never been there before. Will NEVER be back

Echo Karaoke & Lounge is a good place for vibes. It had a decent karaoke set up. The food was a bit of a letdown but overall it wasn't too bad if you’re mostly getting drinks anyways. The rooms can be a tad too small for larger groups

You can book a private room ahead of time. If you feel like you are a star then book a bigger room with a stage. Chicken wings are good and the crinkle fries. Feeling like drinking - Hennessy Green Tea in a jug if you feel ballin'.

Karaoke was not as expected. Their system is basically a sing-along with music videos instead of an actual instrumental track. Service was good.
