Just used this facility today. Very good. For Monday morning quite number of customers. Saw the reviews before complaining the machine didn’t work…..based on my experience, most likely due to lack of English instructions. For washers, pretty straightforward, pay the € at the pay station - pick the correct machine # then go back to the machine and turn it on. For dryers, after the payment, if the machine doesn’t start when you press the green “start” button, ensure to pull and turn the red “NOT-STOP” button, it will be OK - guess that button is to reset? Anyway, pretty easy. Don’t hesitate to ask local for help. Some don’t speak English but willing to just check or do it for you.

Easy place to get your washing done if you're a tourist (I am) in Köln. Signs are in German only but the diagrams are simple to follow. As of June 2018: €3,50 for a wash, €1 for 15 minutes of drying. Accepts up to €10 Euro notes. More than enough machines, there should not be a queue. Grocery store and kiosks nearby if you want to go grab a snack while you wait.

This place is absolutely not open till 11 on Saturday. The machine that takes your money stops accepting money at 10. My washing machine timer said 35 minutes when started but took 50 minutes to complete and I was stuck without being able to dry my clothes.

Heute war ich das erste Mal dort, ich bin total begeistert, die Menschen sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Vorher dachte ich immer bäh die Wäsche wird nicht sauber.... ganz das Gegenteil :) Hier gehe ich wieder hin.

Die Waschmaschinen sind okay, aber die Trockner sollten mal erneuert werden. Trotz hoher Temperatur muss man 2 - 3 trocknen damit die Wäsche nicht mehr feucht ist.

Wie schon einmal vorgeschlagen, warum nicht gegenüber der Bank mit den NUR 3 Sitzplätzen eine weitere Stellen, das würde helfen,hat sich leider noch nicht geändert
