My husband and I were at home holding an indoor concert for our daughters to perform for us. We had a light machine as well as a fog machine. After an hour or so, our smoke detector and alarm went off. We didn't even think the fog machine would cause any issues. Apparently it does. 5 stars. The fire fighters that were on shift tonight showed up very quickly! We didn't even have time to cancel them. Very quick and also very understanding of our explanation as to what happened. They laughed with us and asked if we at least got some videos before it happened. We apologized profusely and felt very embarrased. They were so nice about it though! Thank you very much to the gentlemen that showed up! You ended up making our daughters night!
These guys are awesome, even though I didn't have a fire emergency it was actually the police I was trying to get a hold of because a young lady trying to start a fire on the property that I live on. But the fire department responded and pretty darn quick that's for sure, it made me feel safe and happy to know how fast they were able to get here. Thanks you guys for keeping us all safe I have a question though. How do we know if our fire alarms in the building are up to code? I'm only asking this because the alarm has gone off twice now in the last few months and I can't hear it in my apartment if I'm sitting watching my TV in my living room or in my bedroom for that matter.
Although the sirens can be overwhelming sometimes, the crews at this hall are as repectful as can be. Great community leaders as they are often seen outside cleaning up the area. Every time my son is outside playing they make sure to wave and have even on many occasions invited him over to see the trucks. Keep up the great work Edmonton fire.
Took our Girl Guides Brownie unit here tonight for a visit. Firefighters Blair, Jeff and Judd were AMAZING with the girls! They were friendly and funny and the girls had such a fun time! Us leaders enjoyed it as well! So glad to have this wonderful station as a part of our community!
