Great place to get Mexican bread. Their bread is fresh, soft and tasty. I bought 6 different types of breads and it was less than $5 plus they gave my daughter a free marshmallow lollipop. I have also bought a cake here and my husband loved it, he didn’t know about the place and now loves to get bread here. Staff is also friendly …
It’s hard to say if a Tres Leches cake is good or bad because everyone has a preference. I didn’t like it and my daughter who loves them said it was alright. No one finished their slice and I ended up throwing half of a $30 cake in the garbage. Please try it for yourself though. It wasn’t sweet enough and not enough leche. …
Decent bakery. Bread is fresh but it doesn’t taste as great and the cakes have lost quality and overpriced. They moved next door to a better space more fancy looking and the prices went up too by quite a lot and not the best quality cakes. The quality had dropped. Not worth the money. The customer service is bad too.
Cash only. I got 2 rolls and an oreja and the total was $2.50. This would have cost 3x more at an American bakery. The concha was fresh and had a perfect sweetness level. The oreja was not sweet at all, maybe a bad batch. Cashier was friendly and patient. Definitely coming back here if I have carb cravings.
The best coffee in bushwick. It's like the cups soak up the aroma of the bakery and it makes the coffee better. Authentic Mexican breads and pastries are delicious. The staff is friendly and kind. I recommend this place to anyone. The best times to go are 7am and noon.
The bread is delicious. The service needs improvement. When the owner is not around the ladies are rude. My mom went early on a Sunday morning and asked the lady if they had a particular pastry in stock, and the lady replied with an attitude IT’S OVER THERE!
El Charro went above and beyond when I asked them to make a cake in the theme of the new Bad Bunny album! On top of being absolutely stunning, the tres leches cake (and the vanilla filling between the two layers) was some of the very best
Bread quality was good. Very bad customer service. The guy in charge seem to be drunk, and kept asking the same questions over and over again, like he was high. Show no concern whatsoever on my complain about a spoiled cake I receive from
This is the best pananderia in the neighborhood. You have to learn when the best times to go are to guarantee you get bread fresh out of the oven. I mean, why wouldn't you want that? Their pan de queso is delicious as well as the regular
Great local spot for traditional Mexican baked goods. Very affordable and the portions are huge! You get a steal tray and stack on everything you want. Then put it on the counter. If you want a true slice of authenticity you have to go!
Here there are many options at getting bread. They have it fresh and warm. Sometimes you just need to call when the take out the fresh bread and you go at that time. Their bread taste so good, they also serve drinks and make cakes.
OMG. This is one of the stores i truly recommend to those who love Mexican bread. I ordered a 3s leche cake for my baby shower and everyone love it. Can wait to go back soon and doing more business with them. LOVE the sore.
They seem to have changed The baker because it seems the quality of bread has dropped significantly which is a real shame because it's really hard to find another good Mexican bakery that sells good quality sweet bread
They seem to have changed the baker and the quality of bread and cakes has dropped significantly. Go try Los Florencios a few blocks up, the cake actually taste like 3 leches. El charro cakes now are dry and taste bad.
I always stop by in here when I come into Brooklyn to see my friend. This place has the best Mexican pastries ever! The staff is friendly and the prices are great. I always walk out with a big bag of yumminess
Dry and old bread sometimes and way overprice what happen to the old charro bakery once it's got popular there quality when down. Giving two stars since they still make good cakes besides that enjoy.
The best part is that these breads are fresh and priced very good, been coming here with my girlfriend and she always gets big qualities. Its very soft and delicious! The cakes are very good too!
They sell the best Mexican sweet bread highly recommend good Sunday morning when it's very fresh but watch out they sell very fast but damn is it worth it you can get a entire bag for only $8
Childhood bakery! Best mexican bakery in Brooklyn! Always fresh, reasonable prices and quick staff. I have to say I just bought a rosca and it taste so good! Every year they never disappoint.
If you ever wonder what real mexican bread taste like this is the place. They have a great variety of sweet bread. This place hits a spot to any mexican soul. Try it , no regrets!
YES!!! Finally a SOLID panadería. No more mediocre giant, hardened, yellow conchas! They make bread all day long so there's always something fresh. This place is the real deal.
Best place for a quick breakfast to take on the go. I never spend more than $4 here for a coffee and pastry. I even took my sister here when giving a tour of the neighborhood.
They make the best tres leches cake, and also have the best prices for all their baked goods, I had shopped around and I can honestly say this is definitely the best. More
Traditional delicious Mex bread and most times there's always some fresh warm bread being brought out. Also ive been going here since i was a kid so they consistent
The cake is beautiful but the size of the toys shown in the menu picture is deceiving. The toys were too small and in the picture its at least medium size toys.
This is a really nice place for bread. Bread is delicious and fresh. If you live in brooklyn and you wanna eat good Mexican bread this is the right place …
This place has the freshest softest churros ever. I only bought a couple to try. I regret it I should’ve bought double or triple the amount that I bought. More
Amazing Mexican bread!! Never had better and I've been to quite a few bakery's around the city. It's about a 30 min walk from my place but it's worth it!
My favorite baked Mexican sweets. Always fresh and the store hours convenient. They are the best in the area. The bread is never flavorless
Best Mexican bread in the borough of Brooklyn, theres always fresh bread made every day. And to top it all at a affordable price as well.
If you want fresh out of the oven mexican bread. This is the best place to get it. The bread is delicious best one in the area.
I love the fresh bread. I live in Massachusetts and every visit to NY I always stop in to get baked goods to take home.
Very friendly! Their pastries and cakes are amazing! Highly recommend if you're looking for Mexican pastries/cakes.
Best sweet bread in neighborhood, at least stop by once a week but I never regret, good job for all the stuff
It is the best Mexican Bakery. Fresh every days and now is better in the new location, just at next door!
I’ve never been but I tried to call person who answered doesn’t speak English complete waist of time
Love everything here, fresh bread every day and a fair price.
Very good bread fresh baked.
