We spent our first day in Rome in the Spa. We opted for the couples Hamam experience followed by a 1 hour massage. In hindsight, it probably was better to keep this experience for the end of the trip; but seeing as we were there for the New Year’s weekend, and flying out on the 1st, we didn’t have any other option. The Hamam started with us laying down in a VERY warm and steamy room (wonderful during the Winter) after which we were scrubbed down and all the dead skin was exfoliated from our bodies. A bit different from previous spa experiences, but I don’t complain. Whatever they wash your hair with is amazing. My hair was so soft after. The massage after was relaxing. Unfortunately we did not get to massage in the same room (and I forgot to even ask if that is a possibility); but I don’t think that would’ve made much of a difference anyway because I promptly fell asleep during the massage. The price matches what we’ve paid in other spas in other countries, so I do recommend the visit. What I liked about this spa - and what made us stand out from other experiences - is that they offered us 3 different types of oils for massage. Fair warning: one of them is a citrus oil and I recommend doing a patch test on your thin skin (inner arm, or neck). Being from the cosmetic industry, I completely forgot and realised during the massage that I am sensitive to the oil. It wasn’t dangerous, I was just itchy and only in the thin parts of my skin. PLEASE NOTE: I am not complaining nor am I accusing the establishment of negligence. Just be careful and be sure to test the oils before choosing one; ESPECIALLY if you choose to do the massage after Hamam (all your dead skin is scrubbed off and your pores are open from the steam). A wonderful experience all in all.

My wife & I used the spa this afternoon. When we went in the morning to arrange an appointment, they were fully booked up but the Lady at the front desk managed to find us a slot in the afternoon. So a big thank you goes to this Lady whom we have forgotten to get the name. When we arrived for the appointment the same lovely lady welcomed us warmly & explained to us what we needed to do. Our respective masseuses came & ushered us to our rooms. My wife had a Lady called Fatieh & she said she was one of the best masseuses she's ever had. She said Fatieh's massaging technique was great & enjoyed her session very much. My masseuse was very good too. Both of highly recommend this place. We wish our massage place in London was this good. Excellent service & keep up the great work. Thank you again.

El Spa è davvero intima, assolutamente silenziosa e non dispersiva (ho adorato le vasche di El ad esempio!!!). Gli ambienti curati, il personale gentile e professionale: ogni dettaglio è pensato per farti sentire coccolato e a tuo agio, dal vassoio galleggiante, alla scelta dell’operatore (uomo o donna) per il massaggio. Un ringraziamento particolare a Simona: oltre ad avermi seguita passo passo nella scelta del percorso più adatto a noi e aver risposto pazientemente a tutte le mie domande, ha fatto in modo che potessi godermi un momento di vero relax senza essere penalizzata dalle mie numerose allergie. Alla prossima!!!

Mia moglie ha organizzato una sorpresa bellissima per il nostro anniversario, portandomi in questa SPA. Il posto è davvero magico, il personale altamente professionale e cordiale, negli ambienti c'è perennemente profumo di pulito (cosa non scontata nei locali umidi dove spesso, se va bene, si sente odore di cloro). L'esperienza nel complesso è più che positiva e spero di poter ritornare presto per un altro massaggio rilassante. Cosa diversa dalle altre SPA provate da me finora: gli accappatoi forniti sono in lino bianco morbidissimo, al posto del cassico tessuto spugnoso, per una sensazione di comfort assoluta. Una vera chicca nel centro di Roma, altamente consigliata!

sussulto! Questo posto è come un angolo di paradiso in terra! Amo visitare e mi sento così triste quando il mio tempo qui è finito. La reception / direzione è meravigliosa, Fatima ei miei massaggiatori, Federico e Marco, sono stati fantastici! Posso dire che i loro trattamenti termali sono autentici e al di là del trattamento lo spirito del luogo promuove il benessere. Adoro le caramelle speziate e il tè. Il rilassante roo, la piscina (quando era aperta) .... proprio tutto! Questo è il mio posto preferito per essere a Roma.

The massage room was so small, my therapist had a hard time going around the table. I changed in the ladies room and when i was ready there was no place to sit while waiting for my friend so i was waiting in the changing area, taking my time. The lady came in and started screaming at me, telling me i have to leave cause a man needs to come in to change. She was clearly lying, not sure what was her motive but let’s say that’s not a very relaxing behavior after a massage. I also had a lot of neck pain the day after. I wouldn’t recommend

Such a great Spa. We came there and felt directly relaxed from the good smell in the entrance area. After changing we waited on a hot stone bench for our shortened hamam ceremony. Your whole body gets washed, shampooed and washed again. After that we spend 30min. alone in a bath. One big warm Pool and a smaller cold pool. We were able to relax completely and got some tea with us. To finish this amazing Spa appointment we get a 60min. whole body Massage. This Massage was totaly relaxing. Thanks a lot to the Team!

My friends planned my bridal shower here and it was absolutely divine! The staff gave us very attentive and individual service. Everyone speaks English too so it was easy to communicate. The space is small but well designed and it was exactly what I wanted and needed. It is also convenient to public transportation which was a definite plus. When our treatments ended they had a little apperitivo and prosecco waiting. The ladies and I had a marvelous time and I can't wait to come back with my new hubby!

My body was completely worn out from the holidays, so I decided on a spa day. It was the very best decision. I did a Mandi Lular treatment which consists of massage, body scrub, etc. and a Vitamin Spa facial. I have been to many spas all over the world, but this was my first experience with the Mandi Lular treatment. It was FANTASTIC!! From the warm and welcoming receptionist to the spa professionals to the enchanting environment, El Spa is top notch! I will return every time I’m in Rome. ❤️

Ho regalato il percorso di coppia "Armonia" al mio ragazzo ed è stata un esperienza davvero stupefacente! Il personale è stato davvero cordiale, competente e sopratutto discreto quando ve ne era bisogno. Il posto di per se offre un atmosfera rilassante e accogliente. L'esperienza offerta, l'hammam, è assolutamente una di quelle da fare almeno una volta nella vita. Una coccola lussuosa che ti fa letteralmente scollegare dal caos della vita di tutti i giorni. Assolutamente consigliato!

After walking, walking and walking the beautiful streets of Rome, El Spa was the perfect end to my trip. The staff was attentive and professional, and they spoke English. The place is beautiful, clean, serene and upscale. The services were amazing and the prices are reasonable. I also purchased some of the skincare products and my skin already feels and look better. As a New Yorker who is an avid spa goer, I highly recommend El Spa. You must add it to your Rome vacation!

One of the most incredible experiences of my entire life. I have been to Hamam's before but this experience was so much more. Such a beautiful gift to oneself. I had the Hamam and the sound bath massage. I cannot say enough about these experiences on their own as well as together. The combination was incredible. Staff was amazing 10 out of 10 ! Will 100% be a regular customer even coming all the way from Canada this will always be my first stop when I come to Rome!

Esperienza sensazionale momenti di vero relax nelle mani di serie professioniste. Fatto percorso di circa 3 ore, aperitivo a base di liquirizia come benvenuto, dalla sauna con scrub, lavaggio corpo capelli e shampoo, per poi passare allla piscina caldo e freddo, nuovo aperitivo, e poi per finire con un massaggio di un ora fantastico. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole staccare la spina e godersi piacevoli momenti.

Wonderful. My husband, adult son and I went for three signature massages after walking through Italy (Rome and Sorrento for two weeks). We were sore and achy. Neither my husband nor son have had many massages so they were nervous. But the staff was welcoming and accommodating and put them at ease. The 90 minute massage was amazing. I feel like a new woman and would absolutely go back the next time I am in Rome.

Ho scoperto El spa per casa a settembre. Da allora sono il mio "vizio" preferito. Le mie due ore di pace e benessere assoluto. Non posso dire chi di loro sia più bravo perché tutti, con modi e tecniche diverse, sanno regalare una coccola, un massaggio speciale in grado di arrivare all'anima della persona. The place is conveniently situated not far from Piazza del Popolo. The amenities have this relaxing special vibe. You immediately feel at ease and in the mood for the relaxation. The masseur Jean Carlos was extremely professional. Enjoyed the session a lot and definitely would come back.

This place is amazing. They are respectful and very nice. It's full of a relaxing, loving atmosphere. Alessandra was amazing at the massage. She was very in tune with my body and what it needed. She also made very interesting conversation. I'd highly recommend her, she's great! =)

Unique and enchanting experience at El Spa, as soon as we arrive we dive into a magical atmosphere. The team is very attentive, always present without being intrusive, ultra competent. The best experience we’ve ever had at a Spa. We’ve got the Venus couple experience.

Lovely experience, I definitely recommend this! Started with hummam baths with black soap scrub, then hot and cold pools along with a wonderful mixed massage from circulation to relaxation and tibet bowls. Relax room with tea's...music and atmosphere was so soothing!

Esperienza veramente molto bella. Abbiamo fatto un percorso di coppia che comprendeva Hamman con scrub poi riposo nelle vasche degustando una tisana e poi massaggio rilassante di un ora. Tutto veramente ben fatto con discrezione e con molta competenza e serietà.

Let me start by saying that the customer service was fantastic. But the facilities left a lot to be desired. When faced down for the massage all I could smell was rot or a strong musty fragrance. The massage was decent. I think the prices reflect what you get.
