Fun Drink, food and fresh produce Though you can take your food along with you, you won’t want to miss the chance to eat fish and crustaceans that are fresh from the ocean. You can haggle with fishermen at the shore and then have your fish barbequed right there on the beach. Also, there are various coconut hawkers on the beach. You can purchase coconuts from them and drink the coconut juice right from the husk. 2. Relax At Eleko Beach, you can rent a tent for the whole day and treat yourself to a relaxing time. You can also come along with a mat and pick a spot on the white sands. Enjoy the soothing ocean breeze and the refreshing waves. 3. Enjoy Fun Activities Go on horse rides, kayak around the ocean bank, dance and have fun with your loved ones. Eleko is a great place to create unforgettable memories.
The gate fee was ₦500. It is negotiable if you go as a large group. They are very receptive and usually drunk/tipsy, but everything will cost you money. The beach is very dirty, the water is dirty, the horses weren't treated well they looked malnourished and exhausted. The beach is very boring so I'll advice you go with your music box, a mat, as well as all what you wish to eat and/or drink else it'll cost you twice or thrice the usual price. It is even more boring at night. They have a hotel that you can get drinks and suya (was very bad, I couldn't eat it), and lodge for the night. The maintenance is very poor. Eleko is the worst beach I ever visited.
Went here with the family before the new year. We had crazy fun. Gate fee can be negotiated on if you are much. Once inside, them boys will hustle you for parking, don't fall for it . I like the fact that this beach is clean enough. I think signs should be placed everywhere though for folks not to drop bottles on the sand, perhaps a bin should be placed at strategic points eh. We brought our own food and drinks. Some kids were begging for food (na Naija we dey so this is tough, before the child will complain of Tommy ache and one lands in trouble), some hustled for sea shells and sell it to shell lovers for any token you can give.
This will be the second time I will be visiting beach. The place was not very busy on the they we went there. Our first encounter was the tout that extorted us to enter the place. The annoying part was seeing 2 of them following us (to help us locate a good place) in another attempt to bill us. We made it clear that their service is no longer required and we will give a dime again. After settling down in one of the shed. One of them quickly informed the owner to come and extort us again. The guy asked us to pay 10,000 naira but we threatened to leave. After back and forth we paid far less and had great fun at the place
One of the great beaches in Lagos State, it is beautiful and serene. Its edges are filled with palms and can serve as good shade. Aside the Dead Sea weeds and ome plastics, eleko beach was not very littered. When we sought a clean patch, a rake was provided and the mess cleared for us. As its typical, there were huts to cater for groups and parties. Gate fee is N500 for each individual and N500 for parking, you will be required to pay for other services required. On the whole, I like it here. Less crowded than most beaches and if you like quiet like me to read a book or catch a nap, Eleko is great.
This is on of the nice beach in the locality , there is a beach view restaurant where you can sit and have beer and food sighting see view , the price is quite affordable, the entry fees for per person inside beach is 500naira and there are boys who will be around who took you and charge you too much if you are not aware about the place. It is safe for foreigners , bathing is free , you can have suya, grilled fish, asun, tender coconut etc in the beach. And if the evening weather is good one will experience a wonderful refreshments in the weekends. This is one of the best place for detoxing stress
Came to this place first in the year 2008. In last 10 years, while traffic and development from Lekki to Eleko have increased, this place actuality didn’t see any major facelift. Can’t believe that such a beautiful beach can be left like this for years. It can be one of the best tourist destination if relevant authorities take the initiatives to improve the beach huts, set up some secured villa/bungalow, permanent restaurants etc. Entry per adult is N500/-, pay at the gate, child under 12 is free ( we were not charged). Sat-Sunday best time to visit.
We had rated Eleko Beach highly before heading out there for new year watch night, with the intention of joining other merry makers there to usher in the new year, but we were quite disappointed. The beach was littered with ladies of easy virtues and area boys, and different levels of smoke could be perceived here and there. We had a meal of roasted fish and chips and left hurriedly. Nice place. Very big. The sitting area is however very close to the shore of the beach. Well managed by touts who will want to extort you in a lot of ways. But really cool place. Quite remote, so might not be so frequented. No much fun attractions apart from the beach and a rather pretty much slow swing. Can try it out if you close by. But might not be worth it to travel all the way from a far distance just to get beach there. You'll be better off going to the beaches closeby
I have visited this beach several times. It is clean and with some good spots to enjoy snacks, drinks and food. Very lively on weekends and public holidays. Beach race, football pitch, horse ride and other games are also available. Many people enjoy the beach in the evening and spend their time into the night. Good place to enjoy with friends. Be cautious if you decide to swim as the sea can violent sometimes.
Beautiful ambiance but lots of area boys will try to take advantage of you. Little kids begging up and down. But over all experience of the beach is nice. The bike man advised us to go through the community into the beach and we didn’t have to pay a gate fee, you can go with your things to eat and drink and have an amazing time. There’s no roller coasters or things to play with, better to go with a group
Visited there on the 1st of July 2022..it was my first time there also..was nice and I had fun..but not much going on there..the water was dirty too on one side. The entrance fee was 500 naira. And I was able to negotiate two chairs, one table with an umbrella for the price of 2500. The food there isn't that great. And you can enter with your own food and drinks. Very breezy there too.
Beach#Eleko#Lagos# Gate fee :500naira ✅ Location : from ajah-eleko junction-beach✅ Service : Bring your food and drinks(You can buy food, drinks, suya sharwma lots more) Canoe to catch fish, horse ride, jangolover and take cute pictures....✅ Coconut water :100naira (u can use 10straws)lol✅ We went there with my mum,kid bro and granny. This place exists was Amazing!
A nice place to relax with natural protection from rising waves. Also a good place for picnic and outings and beach sports. Good hotels are also available with horse and donkey rides. Just be careful with your personal effects and also develop a good negotiation skill to cope with the seemingly high prices that'll be dangled at you.... In all, it's a rewarding place to be.
Eleko Beach is fantastic relaxation place, the refreshing atmosphere, good music and interesting local meals serviced are unique and delicious, the coconut drink is a super refresher, is a place for family and friends to sit out and have real fun and family reunion.... I love their local meals and the uniqueness of the atmosphere and environment
Lots of thugs around, preying on innocent guest. Please if u visit the beach, don't be deceived by the area boys, they offer u seats and when u want to leave they tell u that u need to pay for the plastic chairs, the horse owners are also very dubious, please endeavour to ask questions surrounding payment before u accept any of thier offers.
They now charge #500 per person. The beach is generally fun, less crowded and cool atmosphere. We went with our food and rent a shed for 2000 naira. Comes with a nice sitting which is raised and have a good view of the beach and a fairly decent toilet. I'll recommend it to anyone who want a day out in the beach with family and friends.
Eleko Beach is a scenic beach in the city of Lagos located along 80km, Lekki-Epe Expressway Lagos if you are driving from Ikeja. It is a private beach which offers a serene retreat from the everyday hassle of a city lifestyle. It is perfect for time out with friends, personal getaway or great time with kids.
Fantastic place for a get away and beach experience, gate fee is the cheapest ever in all the beaches in Lagos just 500 per adult is no encouraging to be there every weekend. Wished I can be going there every week to ease myself stress of working Monday to Friday. Coming back with my family to have fun soon.
Upon getting there, we rented Umbrellas to shield us from the sun. We then proceeded to the water. Don't expect much from the sea food but the shawarma was quite tasty. You are allowed to bring your own refreshments. Overall, it is a safe place to relax with a nice ambience.. especially at night.
A cool place nature has gifted us.. Attended a wedding ceremony there, a nice venue for such occasion, couple with the roaring beach, cool weather and serene environment.its a place to visit. Tho government can improve the beach and make it attract more tourists.
Gate fees N500 per adult simple fun beach you need to negotiate much for renting the hut Hut not have good toilet and bathing facilities, you are responsible for your security of your belongings have rent and other rates finalised prior and be careful
The beach itself is ok. The guys at the entrance are friendly. But getting in, you have to pay for everything from parking to rentage of umbrella, riding of horses etc. Some bargaining skills and haggling may be needed to get value for your money.
Yolo by the sea is a beach resort in eleko beach, eleko lagos state. A lovable place that provides lodging and accommodation for tourists. It's serene, clean, and lively, it also has a swimming pool area where u can cool off, swim and enjoy the day.
Peaceful with natures touches. Not usually crowded except during festive periods. Good place to relax and enjoy natures gift. Drinks available but foods here not too nice. If possible, come with your own food and if it's possible, make use of it.
This beach is basically among the the top3 beaches here in Nigeria, it's a very cool place... I love the breeze and the vibe around there, though there are lots of touts there. I love the clean salty water and it clean environment. Kudos to
My wife and I spent alone time at Eleko beach on 24th December though it was a long trip but it was worth every litre of fuel burnt. The beach is very clean with blue waves compared to other beaches we visited. It's less crowded with fresh
This place is a cool spot for relaxation and tourist attraction... I was here for an eid fun fair and I had real fun. Aside the cool breeze of the sea that attracts everyone it also has palm trees_ description of a typical beach though.
Eleko Beach is a private beach in the Lekki Peninsula, about 30 miles east of the Lagos Island in Nigeria.Eleko Beach is located in the Ibeju-lekki local Government area. Eleko is a small community located along the Lagos coastline.
It located along lekki-epe express way. Not too crowded. Loved the presence of the coconut trees. For me on a scale of 1 to 10, i will give it an 8 in terms of cleanness. There is also horse ride and coconut drink on the beach.
This place is very good and nice place to visit but keep your belongings safe and also try as much as u can to avoid the boys living within the beach. They are highly dangerous. Keep your children within your reach
It's just like every other beach.. except other beach where they have live bands/strippers and all sorts of night live activities.. but it's cool and safe.. feel free when you have to go with your family
Beautiful Beach ....Not too Crowd.... Wooden Hut Property is Nice. We can get the property for 8k NGN from morning till sunset. Only thing is toilet were not that great. Gate fee is 500ngn per person
The favorite with fashionable Lagosians is Eleko Beach, a big 60km trip east of the city. You can rent a beach hut for the day here, and get someone to make a barbecue for you.. . Never a bad option
Very peaceful and serene beach, I like the fact that you can do whatever you want however you want it here, not much bars or loud music, aside that nature is at its best, I definitely love it here.
The beach is beautiful and blue. I love the coarse sand. But a lot of trash and grease in the sea water. Plastic trash, bottles and garbage on the shore ruins the beauty of this beautiful beach.
It’s a developing resort thought it’s been around for long, nice spots are popping up everyday. The place is going to grow more popular because of the development happening all around it.
Eleko Beach is the future Miami of Africa. With the massive development coming to that axis of Ibeju-lekki. It will always be on top of the public Beach in Nigeria in few years to come.
Eleko was ok. Not so crowded like other beaches but most of the trees that gave it the cool look has been barricaded by hoodlums demanding cash. Not a tidy beach. Had fun all the same.
It's a cool spot and far away from the city noise but there are somany touts there and you can easily be extorted based on the car you drive there and your looks. Gate fee is #500
I visited on a week day any nothing seems to be happening, there were no fun games but the environment felt safe and serene for relaxation. Amazingly the gate fee was just #500.
It's a bit far from the city but with the way Nigeria is growing in population and expanding, it won't be far from a lot of people soon. A very nice place to be, warm and quiet.
It was quite peaceful cos I went in the late evening. The beach was clean but not much activities for fun there. Be careful when parking outside not to get stuck in the sand.
Please bring your food, You can find drinks on the beach but no decent place to eat. Oh and bring some music along if you would like to dance with friends while at the beach.
Clean, well maintained. Few side attractions for kids. Not giving a 5 star because the convenience was nothing to write home about. Had a good time with family and friends!
A good place to be. Better with fewer crowd during the weekdays. Parties from Friday evening till Sunday, makes those times busy. Horse riding and boat Entry fee ₦500
It nice place, the beach is clean, and other resorts are there as well so people would have a dedicated beach front which makes the place beautiful and not rowdy.
Eleko beach is located at the end of Eleko road, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. Expect to pay a gate fee of 500 naira, negotiable if in group... and 200 naira for car park.
It's a very nice beach. The draw back is that there's constant beggars and they are in your face so much you hardly get to enjoy your day at the beach.
The place is cool but not well maintained and prices to get a table and drinks are kinda outrageous for a place that isn't well taken care of.
Quite & secluded like most beaches. Raffia palm shade with lounging chairs, Horse riding, Coconut on the beach, seashells in abundance, etc
This is an amazing place to connect with nature, the sea waves, the chirping sound of birds and the cool ambiance make it one of the best.
Enjoyed the nature at its best, with minimum pollution and human intervention. Interacting with locals give some knowledge about Nigeria
Eleko beach should be one among the best beaches in Lagos but investors aren't yet coming in...though there are few set up in the beach
The beach is the in Nigeria Please if you haven't been their better do Come now to "ELEKO Beach" now to have the best time of your life
Though far from the mainland, but its The best beach i have ever been to in lagos.....clean water, quiet and neat environment 10/10
This is A natural environment , peace and Accommodating , i stay in this Particular Beach for About 4years, Ancient beach
Situated along the lekki free trade zone few kilometers to dangote refinery lies ELEKO beach Packed with some fun too
Gate fee is #500 per head (might be increased depending on the event happening) It’s also #500 for a horse ride.
The beach is neat and not crowded. You might be able to access the place free depending on the time of visit.
Private beach with decent environment. Less crowded than some of the more popular beaches it's cool in here!
One of the fun places to visit. The view speaks a lot about God's mighty power. It's mostly fun on Sunday.
Very busy like other beaches in Lagos. Very easy to locate cheap gate few and food place for family picnic
Lovely location and beautiful views.. Bring your own food and drinks, rent a hut and light your bbq
It’s a lovely place to visit but of lately it’s not been well mentained. I’ll give it 2.5 stars
The Beach is very okay, it's wide and blue.... But their are cans of dirt in the sand near by.
I had a great experience here but for the traffic I encountered going and coming to my house.
Very rough beach! Needs revamping. Went on horse ride, that the only bit I enjoyed. …
It was a good spent time with family, the environment is very good and vibes is wonderful
It was a nice experience. A true getaway from lagos hustle. Really enjoyed myself
I heard is a beautiful place but I have not been there....hoping to visit soon.
Beautiful atmosphere, love it even though it's still undergoing development
Enjoyed my stay…. Visit on a weekend and enjoy the lesser crowd environment
Nice beach and still developing for better atmosphere. Keep moving...
Though it's far, but it's such a nice place to be
A very gorgeous place for relaxation and variety
One of the best beaches you’ll ever visit
Touts disturbing the peace of the people.
Nice place to visit for wonderful nature
