I had bounced around from salon to salon trying to find somewhere I liked in the area…so glad I discovered Elite! Alison does an incredible hair cut and colour, I’ll never go anywhere else! Her knowledge of hair and products is second to none. Come with some inspiration pictures and she will create the exact look you are going for. I’m a blonde with long hair who generally gets a balayage/highlights, which Alison knocks out of the park every time. My hair looks stunning when I leave Elite and for ages after. The salon is small, cozy and very cutely decorated, with lay down stations to wash your hair which I love. Would definitely recommend Elite to anyone looking to try a new place! I can’t speak for the other hair stylists as I have never gone to them, but if they are anything like Alison expect extreme talent and a great cut!

I had a wonderful experience today at Elite Hair Design & Spa! Julie did wonders with my hair! I had a bad at home colouring job and she revived my dead hair with amazing layered hair cut and amazing colour. Julie mixed the exact colour that I wanted and gave me a relaxing wash and hair treatment. To top it off, she blowed out my hair and styled it with beautiful curls. I’m kicking myself for not having planned a fancy dinner date to go to with my lovely new hair-do! Prices are very reasonable and service was top notch. I love my new haircut. I moved to Calgary from India and was little anxious about my first hair cut here. But I got a wonderful hair wash and cut and it was really refreshing. I needed a voluminous hair cut and she did a perfect job on my hair and suggested some protein product for my dry hair. Happy to find this salon and I won't be going anywhere else. Highly recommend this family running Hair design & spa. They are super professional and friendly. Price is also reasonable. Very clean and nice place. Got my hair colouring done. Yay! I'm so happy. This was my first visit to this place after going to the same barber for the last 20 years so I was slightly reluctant to change but I based my decision on the strong ratings and the location. Chang did a fabulous job and he also offered great advice for maintaining my hair in between sessions. He is somewhat of a conversationalist so my appointment flew by quickly. Impressive overall and I look forward to coming back here again. Prices were comparative to the others so I had no issue with that and I left a tip as appreciation for the great job. Highly recommend!

This has been my salon of choice for a decade and a half. I have gone to many high end salons but I never like the quality of my haircuts and treatments quite like I expect from Elite Hair. They take particular care to actually take care of your hair, and will outright tell you if you ask for work your hair isn't ready for. They've helped me get my damaged fine hair to a good place, perm it, colour it, and style it for important events. Their product recommendations are very good as well, as they only keep the best on hand.

I didn’t have an appointment but they gladly accommodated my perm/cut request. Julie was extremely nice. The perm and cut done to my hair was by far the best I had since moving to Canada. I highly recomment this place. Book an appointment before going. Julie was off that day but she was in the salon getting her hair done. The other two staff was fully booked. Julie was asked if she wants to do mine and just like I said, she did it without hesitation.

I have been going to Elite Hair for as long as I have lived in Calgary and the staff here is amazing! The facilities are great, comfortable and clean. I used to go to many different places to get my hair cut but when I found this gem, I refused to go anywhere else! Thank you Alison for always making sure we look top notch! Ive been getting my hair cut at elite hair since I moved into the neighborhood about 9 years ago. I have not once been dissapointed, and the stlylist helped perfect the hair style I am most confortable with. Elite hair is a professional and comfortable business, with polite and skillfull employees.

There been doing my hair for the last 30 yrs. and if you want a quality cut and style this is the place to go before any event in town. Most of the time you look for a cheap cut and you always ended up spending more...I can always recommend it anytime!!! Try it sometime n you won't regret it

I had some time in my calendar and they were able to book me in right away. It was my first time at the salon and I’m definitely going back! After a suggestion, I tried a “volume perm” for the first time and I love it. Super happy with the change and the work was fantastic!

Alison was great and asked me a lot of questions about what cut and style we felt would work best for what I wanted. My cut was perfect for my needs and she recommended some styling tips for it that were very helpful! Definitely recommend this local business.
