I've only been here a couple times, and while I might be in the minority here, I found it *far* too loud. I'm all for music and partying, but sitting in here makes me wish I had earplugs in. I will admit that I find myself to be quite sensitive to sound, but my friends had similar complaints. You can really only talk to the person directly next to you, and even then you have to yell. It's a shame because I would have stayed for a few more drinks each of the times I've been. The music was actually good and interesting, the decor is super cool, generally good vibes all around! hopefully someone from management reads this and considers at the very least checking the sound levels.

It’s a nice, fairly low key, small bar. Good place to go to hang with some friends so a chill, relaxed drink. We often go there as a pre place to the Round. I did get given a glass that still had lipstick all over it and when I asked for a clean glass instead of making me a new drink they just poured the one from the dirty glass into the clean one which I thought defeated the purpose.

The bar has a cozy eclectic atmosphere. There are a couple of couches, some tables, a nice patio in the front and a bar to sit at. They only take cash, there's an ATM in the basement but it charges something like $4 per use. They have great DJs and other artists perform in the space but it's so narrow that there isn't much dancing happening.

Incredibly underrated bar, the retro grungy 70s vibe with a meloncholy, trendy vibe is something to behold. Also an excellent selection of beer.The bar has plenty of space, knowledgable staff, and a uniqueness that is a rarity. A great place to just talk and not feel like you're taking up too much space.Fair warning it's a money only bar, but there is an ATM in the basement.

One of my favourite places to grab a pint in Kensington. The music is always on point (first time I've heard a Boards of Canada track followed by Massive Attack in a bar) and the draught list is varied and accessible. The decor is fun and the bartenders friendly. Cash only, so come prepared (although there is an ATM in the basement). Highly recommend!

Loved the vibe at this bar! Super chill and relaxing when my friends from the states came up. Staff is really nice and they even told us what to check out at Kensington market. We came here around the evening so the lights were dimmed but it gave a chill sensation drinking here. Awesome place to come to with friends if you want to relax and chat!

All cash bar with a unique vibe and an awesome DJ the night we were there. Had a couple pints of cider and just listened to the DJ spin while taking in all the cool items on the wall and the relaxed crowd. Not an upscale or tight place just a great spot to have a drink and hang out. Cool little patio in the back as well.

Awesome place in Kensington market to grab a drink. Has a nice front patio that fits 8, it's perfect for relaxing on a sunny day on the city. Plenty of booths and tables inside. Friendly staff, good service. Plenty of micro brews on tap. Washrooms as neat and tidy, lotta graffiti but adds to the atmosphere. Recommend.

Great little bar. Music can be varied but a gem in the heart of Kensington. But Cash only was a bit of a surprise. But now I know I will go prepared for that. Check it out. It's a throw back to the 70's and a perfect place to meet friends for drinks.

Small intimate spot with cozy and casual vibes... And most surprisingly a back patio! It's a perfect place to just sit down peacefully and chat one-on-one. Good atmosphere, good drinks, good times. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.

One of my favourite spots in Kensington. Cozy, comfortable, and ultra cool. The bartenders are lovely and the drinks are delicious. Side note: there is always a perfectly curated playlist to accompany your evening. Vibes = immaculate.

This place was wicked! The service was awesome, the decor makes you feel like you stepped back in time. It's cash only and they use an old style cash register. It's pretty cool. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Tiny bar but also a bit of a Toronto landmark. Worth a drop in for a round or two but it's a tiny spot that can't accommodate many people. Still the music, provided by the bartender that night, was pretty good.

Incredibly cozy! They pour the best cream ales in town, and always have the best tunes playing! Only downside is it's cash only, but there's an ATM downstairs.

Quick service at the bar, and always something cool going on there. One of the main reasons anyone is in Kensington Market after the sun goes down.
