The two stars are only for the doctors and nurses. Doctor delivered great results and nurses were very friendly and professional. The reason I will never go again or to any Embassy Dental is the finance/accounting associate. After my consultation and while discussing with her what needed to be done and the associated cost, she made feel as if I was an inconvenience and wasting her time because I had some questions and was not agreeing with some extra things that I don't need in the proposed plan. I only went because I had issues with 2 teeth, but after I was done with the doctor, I was told that I should pay for teeth numbers 6 to 12. First I thought they meant 6 and 12, but NOPE, they wanted to bill me for 6 teeth.... So clearly she ignored what I wanted and requested and still asked the doctor to do what she initially proposed ignoring what I wanted or only needed. THE AUDACITY PART: Instead of apologising to me for the way I was treated, the awkward situation she put me in and ignoring my demands, she said I will have to find a different place for the future (As if I was ever going to go again to get ripped off). I wanted to say a lot back to her and give her a proper .... (Reply) but I only said I dont care then we proceeded to do the payment. P.s: The doctor ended up agreeing with me and I only paid for two when I stood my ground and refused to let them put words in my mouth that I never did say or agreed to. There are literally 100s of practices that would love to serve with dignity and honesty without making me feel an inconvenient just because I refused to get ripped off!

Could swear I reviewed this place before but where did it go Anyway, DO NOT GO HERE!!! Wish I didn't have to give it one star. I have always been meticulous about dental hygiene. Imagine my surprise when I went here and was told that I had advanced gum disease. This was after the hygienist painfully jabbed I sharp tool in between my two front teeth. They referred me to a lady named Barbara Jones in Nashville. When I got to her office, she also said I had advanced gum disease. I'm saving that for another review. Apparently they are in cahoots with each other. Fast forward to this year. I got a new dentist. When I went to them I told him that I have gum disease. They looked at my teeth and said your teeth are perfect. They told me that I do not have gum disease. She asked me who had told me. At that moment I could not remember the name of the place. She told me the name of the place without me even telling her. Apparently, Embassy has a reputation for telling people that they have problems that they do not have so that they or their scam partners can rake in the $$$$$$$$$$$$$. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE. if you do, don't say I didn't warn you.

Update: 2023: Dr.Maddox is no longer at this practice. It has taken several months to complete a single procedure that I was charged $3,000 for up front. The lab they use has taken an avg of 4 weeks each time they send a new impression. The officer manager told me I should work on my diet and improve my gut health in the middle of me crying bc I had to have a tooth pulled. Overall, this place needs some improvement. It's not the same as the place I started coming to. Would not currently recommend. 2021: Dr.Maddox and her staff have totally won over my trust and affection. They have been incredibly gentle with their tools and kind with their words. They've never made me feel embarrassed. The hygienists I have seen have been "soft handed," using just a little cold water and no air so as not to set off any of my sensitivities. In addition to being a safe place for the anxious dental patient, they are very straight forward. They give you prices and explanations up front. I never wait to be seen. I don't have to sit in the chair for hours because Dr.Maddox works efficiently. I've seen a lot of dentists and this is the only place I can recommend.

WONDERFUL!!!- My husband and I have recently switched to Embassy Dental Bellevue and we couldn't be happier!! We had to find someone when our dentist moved away! It's always tough finding someone new, that you know will take good care of you and your family's health. We have been SO happy with Dr. Li and his staff! Dr. Li has amazing bed side mannor and takes his time with you. He makes sure he hears and listens to every concern you may have, big or small. Dr. Li is also very knowledgeable and experienced and you really feel like you're being treated with the best care. Everyone there is also kind and you can tell they truly care about you. They have also been especially wonderful since they have worked with us in every way possible with our insurance and financially, when my husband had to have several things done. If you are looking for a great dentist and dental office, Embassy Dental Bellevue is wonderful!

Had a very disappointing experience as a new patient here. Most of the staff was kind and approachable, but when it was all said and done, I left feeling like I had just endured a giant scam. The dentist was fast talking and absolute about the "treatment plan." After a few questions when I was leaving, I learned that there were a number of extra services worked into my plan that were costly and unnecessary. My treatment plan was extensive and time consuming, suggesting a possible 7 appointments when it was all said and done. No thank you. I went for a second opinion and saved myself a hefty chunk of change and time! This place lived up to the big chain dentist warnings that are out there. Support someone local with your time, money and loyalty...it makes a difference!

Today was my first visit with Embassy Dental in Bellevue after being dissatisfied with my last local dentist. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, the staff was very kind and helpful. They walk you through everything that is being done and answer any questions with enthusiasm. Lexi was very sweet and made my visit comfortable while getting everything done that I needed for my exam and Gloria helped me get checked in and helped get my insurance information squared away! I felt bad for inconveniencing them by not being prepared, but they had no problem helping me! Also, the dentist was really nice and I felt comfortable with him. Overall, I felt very welcome here and they will certainly be my new go to folks for my dental health!

I had my wisdom teeth removed back in March of this year. I paid my $661 copay the day of surgery. A week ago(10/29) I received a bill in the mail for $456. When I called Embassy Dental, Cecelia (the office manager), informed me it was because my insurance did not cover the anesthesia. When I spoke with my insurance provider (Delta Dental) they told me that they do cover anesthesia, just not the IV sedation Embassy used. After going back a forth with both Embassy and Delta, I'm being forced to pay. Apparently, Embassy Dental is not required to check before your surgery if your insurance covers everything, but most companies do it as a courtesy. I urge you to avoid Embassy Dental if you believe in morals.

The Embassy Dental staff at this office are wonderful! The front desk staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. They work in a timely fashion and communicate effectively. Dr.Maddox is amazing! I have come here for several dental procedures and have felt safe and at ease with Dr.Maddox explaining things and taking her time with me. Furthermore, I have had absolutely no issues afterwards and healed so quickly. Also when getting my regular teeth cleanings Morgan is always who I ask for! She is sweet and has such a calming presence, I forget I’m even at the dentist! She is quick and gentle and my teeth feel great afterwards. Thanks Embassy Dental - Bellevue staff! Danielle

Today I went in for my semi-annual cleaning and exam and it was absolutely an amazing experience!! Each staff member was friendly from the front desk all the way to the ladies in the back. My hygienist Megan was very pleasant and took her time during my cleaning which I appreciate, knowing that I was her last client of the day. Dr. Maddox came and did my exam and she was sooo sweet! She took her time to explain the one concern she had, and did not book me for unnecessary work, but instead gave me prevention measures to follow. I had a great experience and look forward to my next appointment at the end of the year!

I have been to 3 appointments at Embassy Dental in Bellevue. The initial appt was for a consultation. A full set of x-rays were taken, the denist thoroughly reviewed m options and the billing officer worked up estimates on what I would need to pay according to my insurance. The 2nd and 3rd appointments were dental work. The dentist and assistant were very thorough describing the procedures and the options for using local and gas protocols. I felt very comfortable. I have to say that I did not experience any pain. I have my next appt in several weeks. They are the best dentist I have ever had.

The staff is nice and did a good job with my cleanings, but they recommended I get sealants as an adult and I fell for it. The real problem I have is the sealants ended up having little pockets which caused a cavity to start forming underneath and I had to get multiple fillings to fix (at a different dentist). I've had one cavity in the 28 years I've been alive before this. So basically I'm annoyed that I spent HUNDREDS of extra dollars on a preventive service I didn't need, and will likely be spending hundreds more dollars to fix the issue that they caused.

I’ve never had a better experience with a dentist & dental staff than at Embassy Dental in Bellevue. Gloria is a friendly smiling face to greet me each time I arrive and available by phone to discuss my appointments. Dr. Maddox is very caring and patient and goes to great lengths to make sure I am happy with the results. I have had some major work done to my front teeth and the results are so natural looking and I am so much more confident to finally have an even smile. Really grateful for the team at Embassy Dental. I used to go to the Embassy Dental in Murfreesboro and had recently moved to Bellevue. The transfer of my records from one location to the next was flawless with no issues. Everyone at the Bellevue location is very friendly and professional. The location is very clean and well organized. Alex, my new hygienist, is awesome! Since it was my first cleaning at this location, she listened to my concerns and made the experience very smooth and as painless as possible. Looking forward to many future cleanings!

I absolutely love this Dentist's office. Every employee and Dentist that I encounter is very friendly and helpful. The office also sends you reminder emails or calls you so that you won't miss your appointment. A very helpful service for busy patients. I especially love how the patient chairs are massage chairs, and there are tropical pictures on the ceiling. A very nice touch. Most people dread going to the dentist, but with a wonderful practice like this one, there's nothing to fear.

I was told by them I had advanced gum disease. I sat down and this woman with an attitude shoved a metal pick up in my gum very hard and said , "You have advanced gum disease!" They sent me for deep cleaning that hurt really bad. Went to a new dentist and he said I don't even have gum disease period, let alone advanced gum disease. I am out a lot of money and went through terrible pain for nothing! Do not go here! Many complaints somehow got removed from Google. Hmmmmm?

This place is incredible!!! It felt like home the first day I went. The entire staff is so sweet and kind and they feel like family! I’ve been going to them since July and we have laughed together and I’ve cried with happiness. They deserve 10 stars!! I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else! They just did my veneers and it’s a dream come true!! Thank you so much guys!!! Alex, Lexi, Kaiya, Gloria, Christy and Dr Otterpohl are all SO WONDERFUL!!!

Nobody likes going to the dentist but Embassy Dental Bellevue does everything they can to make the experience pleasant. From the VERY patient front desk staff to the dental hygienists and everyone else, the staff works hard to make your experience a good one. Update 5/2/23: Alex did an amazing job cleaning my daughter’s teeth today! She was efficient and calm and made my daughter feel comfortable while also getting great dental care.

Really mad about my recent experience. Got a night guard because I grind my teeth at night. Paid a good amount for it. I go in to get it out on, it’s lose in my mouth….I told the hygienist it felt lose and I’m scared I’m going to choke at night while I sleep. She just stared at me. I then said, is there anything we can do about that? She just said, no, there’s nothing we can do about that. Like….what?? I left confused and scared

The staff here are either negligent or untrustworthy. I received two different diagnoses from two different dentists over the span of 3 weeks. The first dentist gave me a clean bill of health while the second said I had six cavities in total. While the staff here was friendly and gave a good outward expression I recommend finding a more trustworthy practice next time you are looking for a dentist.

When I scheduled my appointment here, they changed the time without telling me, even though I had already taken off work. They were rude when I called to fix it, but did fix it. The next time I went I had to wait 30 minutes for the technician with no apology. They were also expensive even with insurance. I changed dentists. The work they did was fine, so two stars instead of one.

Dr Bennerman was awesome! He extracted my tooth painlessly! He has a wonderful way of setting people at ease, is compassionate and personable. The office staff was courteous and helpful. I got reminder calls and emails prior to my appointment. This is an example of great teamwork, which must mean good management! Thank you to the whole staff for your excellent care!

I am new to the area and it was time for a cleaning. Because of COVID-19 I was 7 months late and VERY nervous to go in the office. Once I arrived I noticed how all of the staff had their masks on and the office smelled like it was freshly cleaned. That made me happy. But the care I received from the staff was AMAZING!!! DR. Maddox was so sweet gentle with my mouth.

Yesterday I experienced an extraction of a tooth at Embassy Dental. Dr. "O" was all that I had hoped for: he was comforting, supportive, highly professional and patient. Moreover, the entire team recognized my nervousness and treated me gently and patiently. I appreciated the level of service provided by Embassy Dental!

They have bad office attendants. After asking them multiple times to email me a receipt, they still have not emailed me a receipt. The lady at the front could not spend a seconds for whatever reason to just email me a receipt. I feel as there refusal to give me a receipt is because they’re hiding something from me.

Worst experience with a dentist. Had a 3:30 consultation and did not get done until 5:30 without a cleaning. Someone came in after me and was looked at before me. Their hours are terrible for people that work. They then tried to schedule a cleaning for the next month as they had no openings. Will never be back.

Alex did a wonderful job of explaining everything and is so pleasant, friendly and cheerful. She is easy to talk to. She’s amazing. Gloria is excellent, very helpful and professional. The front desk staff are also very cheerful and helpful. Nice clean office. Always have a good experience at Embassy Dental.

Taylor was very pleasant. Everyone is great about explaining every step prior to setting appointments. Love it here! Had to come back on 2/16 for two fillings and even with anxiety Kim was really good about keeping me calm and talking me through what I may feel next which helped me keep my heart rate down.

Dentist & hygienist took advantage of a new patient & an opportunity for $$$. They gave me an unnecessary "debridement". After wondering if I actually needed the work since I go to the dentist regularly, I got a second opinion from a previous hygienist, and she said that it was absolutely not necessary.

I’ve been with Embassy Dental Bellevue for over 15 years. However we can’t come to agreement with this new dentist, Horton Lee. Maybe it’s a generations clash. I feel like he is trying to enforce decisions about my oral health rather than make recommendation. Unfortunately we have to part.

I usually hate going to the dentist but this experience changed all of that for me!!! Dr. Maddox is doing big things here and I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is considering and or hesitant!! Can’t wait to come back and I never thought I would say that about the dentist.
