All the employees, I found here, are very friendly and welcoming. Passport renewal process via Embassy of Nepal, Ottawa is very simple. I found it hassle free to renew passport here than in Nepal. And, it only took about 32 days for me to collect the passport. The only reason I gave four star is because of the lack of presence of Nepali Customer Service Representative. I understand that people coming to Canada can easily understand and speak English, however, tone of the mother tongue could energize them and help to make them feel home like experience emotionally. I would expect and hope that the Ambassador or the other hiring personnel would keep this thing in consideration when they get a chance/time to hire new Customer Service Representative.

One of my friends contacted the Embassy of Nepal in Ottawa to get his passport renewed. He sent all the necessary documents and attachments to the embassy as required. However, the people at the embassy have been giving him a lot of hassle refusing the photos and even claiming to have received not enough documents. This has been going on for about two months now. The most frustrating part is that they change their words every time he calls them. This is the most unprofessional government dealing that I have had so far in Canada. They should definitely hire some better employees who actually try to help Nepalese in Canada rather than giving them unnecessary trouble. Far below average service!!

The lady on the front when I was there is RUDE, absolutely ZERO professionalism. I live in Toronto and visited Ottawa for my passport renewal. I booked an appointment but forgot to get the print out however I had the reference number still the lady at the front was very rude. She kept on asking for the print out. It was her duty to provide the print out if in case an applicant forgets to carry one. At the next step I was again asked for the same print out and they said it was that receptionist’s duty to provide. Overall, it was a really bad experience. Anyone planning to visit Embassy of Nepal in Ottawa please be prepared for this torture. A very serious issue!!

At least Nepal embassy should have someone working as employees who can speak & understand Nepalese language There were hijab wearing probably Bangladeshi women women working in Nepal embassy and they can only communicate in English they don’t know how to speak Nepalese language! It does not make any sense to me because many Nepalese people and senior citizens from Nepal can’t speak English fluently and they only know Nepalese language. This is serious issue and this issue should be resolved immediately

Honestly one of the worst places with the most dishonest and most arrogant people, and it is such a shame since it's not a place you can do things without. It is an important place you need to rely on, but the people working here are so rude and full of themselves.

I feel ashamed to say that my embassy provides under par services. The phone is never answered, I cannot expect them to reply my emails or voicemails. I request you to level up your services and be available whenever your people need you.

For 7 days I am trying to book appointment date for passport renewal but it is impossible.The software system says wrong code although it is correct.Server busy even whatever time you try.I tried more than 50 times.

Very rude and arrogant employees. Don’t even know how to treat people and talk with them professionally. At least have a lock in the washroom. Nobody wants to embarrass any female while they pooping.

Sometimes the call gets unanswered but when they do take call , they provide all the required information clearly. Fast & nice service at the embassy. Excellent.

There should be a Nepali speaking employee who attends calls first. Does this make any sense to hire someone who only understands English in Nepalese Embassy?

Pls fix your e passport pre enrolment online booking portal! I tried to book my appointment I couldn’t. I tried so many times!!!

This office neither answers the phone calls nor reply to any emails. Bad experience even without starting any process.
