They lost all of our documents and claim otherwise. It’s just a bit dumbfounding. Now they want us to pay again even though the evidence points to their misplacing our documents. No reason given. So odd. I don’t know if this is about corruption or incompetence. I guess we will try again.

This embassy has a surprisingly helpful and friendly staff in contrast to other embassies I have visited in Ottawa. I went to this embassy one day to inquire about internships in Argentina, and I spoke to one of the ambassadors for over an hour, and she gave me great advice.
