My husband and I were on vacation in Guernsey, Wyoming. It was 9:15 at night when the largest Mule Deer we've ever seen hit our rental car. We called Enterprise and they absolutely REFUSED to help us. They left us to fend for ourselves out in the middle of nowhere. They refused to come get us, to bring us another car and to tow us. We drove the badly damaged car 11 miles at 15 mph to get us and the car back to our motel to safety (on a badly damaged retread tire unbeknownst to us until the next day). We had to have Rachel Midkiff, our local State Farm agent, in Emily Nowlin's office in Indianapolis, to intervene on our behalf. She was absolutely awesome! We spoke with her on/off for 7 hours the next day trying to get Enterprise to help us. Rachel is friendly and kind and genuinely cares about her clients well-being. She got everything taken care of for us and got us back home. She literally helped save our lives!!!!!! Rachel knew how completely stressed out we were so she handled Enterprise and the claim so we didn't have to do anything else. I highly recommend Rachel Midkiff!!!!! I moved from another state. My previous agent was great, supportive, and excellent at reaching out and clarifying things. With Emily Nowlin, I'd have to pay different amounts all of a sudden without any explanation or notification. They went paperless so I wouldn't find out that I needed to pay more that month and then they would send me a letter saying that I was no longer covered. When I asked, they would take their time to get back to me and sometimes they just completely ignore my questions. It was so frustrating! I was with State Farm for over 17 years! Not anymore!!! Now, I'm paying $700 less each year with better coverage! I couldn't be happier to leave them!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff will work with you to get the insurance coverage you need. In addition to auto insurance and home owner’s insurance, State Farm has umbrella policies to boost your liability coverage and extended medical coverage should you be hospitalized. The latter pays directly to you and does not replace health insurance. Working with our State Farm agent, we had all of our questions answered and we have a better idea of what our insurance policies will do for us, should we need them. We had a positive experience and recommend Emily Nowlin's State Farm Agency.

Emily Nowlin is the lone agent I have ever interacted with who I knew on a personal basis; she knew me as a human being and not simply as a set of numbers. Emily truly wanted to know me to best determine what my insurance needs were. Both when I was in a car accident in 2018 and when I needed my roof replaced in 2021, Emily and her agents were immediately responsive and thorough in helping me with both incidents. Rachel Midkiff & Emily have been amazing. Rachel made sure I had the perfect policy for my job. My car broke down Sunday morning at 8am. I reached out to Rachel and even though it was Sunday morning she responded to me. There was an issue with the weekend customer service regarding road side Rachel even followed up with me this morning. I am so glad we made the switch to State Farm.

Poor communication. I had to email, call, and text before I ever received I response about a concern. When I finally was followed up with I was bounced around to multiple people, who provided little explanation, empathy, or assistance for my situation. Spend your money elsewhere and insure with someone else.

From updating my policy to assisting me with replacing my windshield, I've found Emily and Rachel to be very responsive and helpful. Their customer service and the fact that State Farm's rates are less expensive than other insurers are the reasons I'm a satisfied customer.
