I went to pour petrol yesterday and a petrol attendant (I believe his name is Bulelani) was extremely rude. This man had the audacity to ridicule and mimic everything I asked him in an extremely condescending way. Even worse is that they were 2 other petrol attendants chatting with him before I arrived and they all just watched without correcting his actions. A true indication that there is something fundamentally wrong with the culture of the staff. I am not sure if they thought I was a student from Wits, however it should never be acceptable for anyone to be treated in that manner. I will never use this petrol station again!!! Disappointed

Dear Owners, i've been using your station a lot of various services, overall great awesome attitude from petrol attendance but unfortunately can't say the same of the ladies behind the counter, not greeting not welcoming at all and just rude, we feeling like a we are a burden / nuisance, we passed by last night just before 8pm there was short lady behind the counter with longest nails ?? being in customer service myself i don't see how this fits in hygiene standards especially in this time , Thank you for addressing this matter

My fuel cap was not replaced & I cannot get another cap BUT AT AGENTS..... 23 March - I was in contact with the Manager Willie - what a pleasant person - issue was sored out in literary 5 minutes. - no lies. Besides my unfortunate experience - which can happen to anyone anywhere - Engen Empire is my go-to - staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you Willie for exponential no-nonsense customer service. Inside shop assistance - you girls ROCK!!!!!

Simpiwe is the coolest guy (I hope I have his name right) as we needed a map beause we didn't have any directions to get to mpumalanga and both mine and my wife's phone was dead and our backup charging devices weren't working. So I was desperate cos I don't remember too well how to get out of the city. He was kind, concise and helpful! Please promote him because I'll definitely stop there in the future.

My friends and I got accused of stealing by a security at this station. I have no idea why and he made such a scene, literally called the whole world to come see something he had no evidence of. We were finally proven innocent and got no apology when we asked, yet he disrespected and screamed false accusations for the whole neighborhood to hear. Extremely unhappy.

Wimpy at Engen, Empire Rd has gr8 service. Waiters are friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the new mealie bread breakfast. Bacon was basically fat strips. Didn't eat the sauce that came with it, as it had bubbles and perhaps cooked long before and just reheated. Nod fond of any foods like stews, sauces or buffets for this reason. Coffee shake was gr8!

I've always found the service at this station to be poor but didn't care much until recently when one attendant named Petrus told me that I complained for small issues and that's why he'll ignore all my vehicles as they know them all. I now went full week since 17th June without using the station and good luck to myself!

The service here is always spot on. The staff are friendly, quick, and accurate. The Quick Shop is well stocked, and it's central location makes it an ideal service station for people travelling from north to south, and for Wits students.

Guys this is such a stunning gas station. From the car tenant, to the amazing Wimpy staff all the way to the cashier ladies.. Friendly, efficient and kind. Also best Wimpy joint I been to in a while!!!

Good shop and convenient Woolworths store inside. Not enough petrol attendants to help so you are waiting a while. For a petrol station on such a busy location they need more staff.

Conveniently located, I always fill up there before I hit the N1. The attendants are really friendly and helpful.

Like most garages it is conveniently just before the freeway so there's a pitstop before you carry on your way.

The service is so slow every time I try to use this station. Also there are barely any petrol attendants.

One thing for sure is that you will never get your clicks club card points here when filling up ☹️

Be careful staff at this garage scam people and management will not do anything to assist you.

They usually have most of the things I need at any given time. Open 24 hours which is great.

Although there is staff the refuse to pump fuel. Can consider the closed for the morning
