A big thank you to the security on duty the night I was there. I was waiting in the car with my two kids in the evening and as I looked up a very shady man was approaching the car. Before I had a chance to check if all the doors were locked the security quickly chased him away and stood by the car until the man was completely gone.

If you're lucky enough to find parking, you won't regret it. Popped in there for some cheese puffs from Engen Quick Shop, Fries from Steers and Milkshake and Cranberry Juice from Woolworths to wash it down. Sounds like a lot but I was out there in 10 minutes. The efficiency of the staff is a joy to behold! Great one!

I would like to just compliment the doorman/guard of the convenience store at Engen who hands out baskets to shoppers when he sees their carrying too many things. He's very polite and deserves some recognition. Unfortunately I didn't see his name but it was around 12h30 on Saturday 26th when he was working.

Pathetic place. Got harassed by the car guard because I used a parking space for 5 minutes. I was in the shop for those 5 minutes. As soon as I came out I was told to leave as people like me take up too much parking space. People like me? Discrimination much? I'll never ever return.

This is the best Engen in Cape Town. The staff are amazingly friendly. The security guards are incredibly helpful - they're always helping shoppers with their parcels. It's an extremely clean store, and they never run out of stock of anything.

Such an excellent service from the Woolworths/Engen Supervisor Shumeez. As loadshedding started my card payment was going through and failed. Shumeez took my number and called me 10 minutes later to confirm the cancelation.

Worst service I have every seen in my life. Staff swearing at customers and no manager around to resolve issues created by staff. Incredibly disappointed in this behaviour. Sworn at by 2 staff members Vivianne and Norbert.

This has to be the best garage in Cape Town! The staff are so friendly that it almost feels like home. Everyone is always very welcoming and willing to assist. The convenience store there is always fully stocked.

My favourite garage to fill up and buy milk rolls and that late night choccy. The Woolworths is great for a good sandwich or a last minute meal. Love the chicken Schnitzels and packets of vegis

Engen, Newlands/Claremont Main Road is my first stop with every shift, day and night. Awesome staff and a wonderful Owner, freshly baked pies and sweet treats daily. Love the Coffee too.

Nice spot, good Woolworths food selection and a Steers. Good spot to get a few things for dinner on the way home and fill up your car at the same time. Not enough parking unfortunately.
