I had read a few other negative reviews before coming here but was desperate to see a doctor so I came anyway. Big mistake. This whole clinic is a scam designed to make money off helpless foreigners who don't speak Spanish. Dr Joseph has an awful bedside manner, cuts you off while speaking, gaslights you, and when I asked very simple questions like 'should I expect any side effects' from a certain medication or 'can you explain to me why need to see specialist?' he literally said 'I don't want to talk about that right now'. Like, what?? He was also so weird when I needed an ECG and made one of the girls at the front desk do it for me so he didn't have to connect it to my chest. Like, come on, you're a medical professional. What's more, he then got frustrated in the corner and started telling her she's doing it wrong (well yeah, she's not a doctor) and marched over and did it himself but as though I was a bomb he had to diffuse as quickly as possible and couldn't look at. Super uncomfortable and super unprofessional. I'm really not one to write negative reviews and ruin a business, but I'm honestly questioning whether he's a licenced doctor at all. When I pressed him on my concerns he just googled the answers, muttered the most passive aggressive apology, and offered me a discount on future appointments as compensation? Super sketchy. Definitely avoid. If you're in Barcelona for a while, I recommend signing up to Sanitas - plenty of their doctors speak English and you won't come out feeling violated and taken advantage of.

The first thing that I noticed was that this office have a great presence online. You can easy book services and consultations online, on an English website. I think the prices are quite reasonable as well. When you arrive at the office, the front desk is occupied by welcoming nurses that have all the paperwork ready for you. In the combined lobby/waiting room you also have access to ice cold water, paper towels and coffee/tea, with the two first much appreciated during the summer months. I’ve had consultations with Dr. Stephen and he strikes me as a doctor with the ability to be both a good listener and efficient. Still I never felt rushed during our time. His English is fluent, as the same for the nurses. If you are looking for an English speaking doctor in Barcelona, effective and personal service at a good price, there really is no where else to go than this doctor’s office. I recommend my experience there highly!

This was the best service of medical assistance I have had in a long time. Dr gave the diagnosis when even the best Hospital in Barcelona couldn't identify it, great medical care and service - I wont hesitate to visit Dr Joseph if I ever get sick again. He had been busy but still took the time to make me feel like I was the only patient there. The after care (I contracted Salmonella from a business trip to Kenya) was absolutely superb too, he didn't have to but made sure my partner and our newborn baby were well abreast of the situation and eased her fears and worry at all hours of the day. I continue to this day to speak with Dr and its always a pleasure to see a check up message arrive every other week. Superb service, professionalism and care and assistance. Thank you.

I have no words to express how awesome their service was! I don't speak Spanish and I am not familiar with how things work here, so I had lots of questions before booking my blood tests. I contacted them via Whats app and they were absolutely great. They answered my numerous questions, they gave me detailed information without any resentment and they have generally been incredibly helpful. Also, it would be worth mentioning that they are in partnership (I believe) with the teletest labs, who have also been brilliant! Terrible! He will do the tests you need and say everything is fine, even if your blood shows otherwise. I was very ill when I came to see him. I told him all my symptoms, we did some tests. He got paid. He didn’t even test for my thyroid. (How am I supposed to know that should be tested, he is the doctor). My blood tests showed high inflammation among other things. I asked him what this could mean, He says “oh don’t worry about that” meanwhile I didn’t even know I had Hashimotos auto immune condition and he didn’t even think to test me for it or to at least test further at that point. I wrote him an email about this months later and no reply. Watch out! He will take your money and leave you ill.

Highly recommend! Don't waste time like I did trying to find a medical centre. If only I tried Dr Joseph first, who is an English Dr, polite and professional. It was only 10 euro in a cab from the city centre, I was seen straight away without an appointment and got the script I needed to start feeling better on my holiday. I thought finding a medical centre near the city centre would be easy but It was far from it! I asked in a pharmacy and our accommodation host of the nearest and they ended up being hospitals that wanted to charge me $244 euro!

I went and saw Dr. Steven after having a skin condition. Going to a doctor can already be a stressful situation, and going to one out of your home country makes things even harder. Dr. Steven (and his two staff members in the waiting area) were all exceptional. They were very kind and make you feel at ease. Dr. Steven diagnosed my skin condition within just 30 seconds of seeing it. He prescribed me the necessary medication and I was on my way within 15 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Steven and his staff.

Dr. Joseph was extremely dedicated to my case. I saw him over the course of four months, during which time he supported me from my initial diagnosis through my return to the States. He always took the time to explain every aspect of my ailment and treatment, making the entire process very comfortable and easy, despite my distance from home. With regards to appointments, he was very flexible with my travel and class schedule and consistently got me in as quickly as necessary. I highly recommend him.

Needed a doc urgently, called the number and he picks up directly, booking me in for an appointment a couple hours after the call. Really good service, could say it was actually better than some doctors we see back home in Australia. Really thorough and caring. The place however was a little bit difficult to find as it is located off the Main Street. Although the Googol sign is big enough to see as you walk by. Highly recommend this doc if u need a good English speaking one in barca.

Definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling in Barcelona and they need to see a GP. I was able to easily contact the GP through WhatsApp and they replied to me very quickly. They were able to fit me in for an appointment almost straight away and all the staff were lovely, very helpful and they all spoke perfect English. I was even able to contact the staff via WhatsApp after my appointment with some questions and they continued to be extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent experience. Visited Dr. Hunyi for a full medical and got everything done inexpensively and with his referral, immediately for the lab tests for internal health. Also when I had a cycling accident lasy year I consulted him having been sent away from a hospital A&E with what proved to be an incorrect diagnosis; he suspected a worse injury and sent me for fresh X-rays and again I was sent immediately with no waiting. Highly recommended!

I'm a student studying abroad in Barcelona for the semester and needed to see a english speaking physician on short notice. He communicates through whatsapp which is very convenient for somebody who isn't a resident. I am very happy with the medical care and customer service he provides.

Really was not helpful 2 years ago and wanted me to pay 100€ for a 5 minute consultation (which did not solve my issue). When I refused the price he negotiated to make a lower deal, unbelievable. Other doctors in Barcelona speak English as well and don't try to rip you off.
