I can’t stress this enough but TAKE. A. VIDEO. AT. CHECKOUT. I rented a car at krakow and returned it at Gdańsk. I fortunately took a video of the state of the car at check out in Krakow because their desk is inside the airport and they don’t accompany you to the car. They just make you acknowledge a car scheme with defects and you have to sign before you have even seen the car. When I returned it, an agent in Gdańsk noted a small dent on the alloy that was not reported on the car scheme and I hadn’t even seen it when I took the car. I then reviewed the video and showed him it was already there but the guy wouldn’t hear what I had to say. I really didn’t try to object with him as I had the proof and thought I could take this to management instead so I signed the scheme when gave the car back. Then I received an invoice for the damage from Krakow branch and ask them to review the video and consider that I had my CDW protection. They answered the dent is not covered although I saw on their damage tool that the dent was smaller than the limit for major dents so this should have been covered anyways but they said it wasn’t, I should have filmed this (so make sure you have a complementary insurance because that CDW is useless). I then contacted management and forwarded them the video for review. Thankfully they obviously came to reason and erased the damage charge and confirmed with the office in Krakow that the dent was there before… so don’t trust whats on paper but make your own video with proofs would be my advice (and don’t forget to film underneath on the edges of the car and the roof, as well as the gas level when powering on the car). I also advice to take a picture of them measuring the dent with their damage tool that shows if the damage is major or minor to get that CDW cover to work… Update: the guy from the desk in Gdańsk called me at 9pm after I posted this review literally asking to delete this review. I had given 3 stars but lowering it to 1 for this. I’ve used enterprise in 10+ countries and Poland is my first bad experience… will be using Exel next time I’m here as they have 5 stars.

I rented a fiat500 for 5 days in this company. I really appreciated the service ! The company is located inside of the airport of Gdansk. It's really easy to find them. Explanations were cleared to pick up and out the car at the airport. The car was a new one. The car was so cleaned !!! I never see a cleaning like this ! It smells good inside of the car. So, no problem appeared during my trip. Yakub was available directly by phone if you have a question or a problem during the rent. The crew is also really nice. They all speak English by the way. Yakub was very nice too. He advised me some places to visit in Gdansk, and advised me other cities. Great people Otherwise the price was not expensive. I advise you to take the assurance of the company. It's easy and not expensive. It's better for health mental, especially when you drive in Poland haha . These people do a great job! I was moving a few household goods and received a Sprinter van which is huge! Twice as big as what I needed. That being said, it was new, clean, and great(a manual transmission thankfully). The employee at the counter was great. Friendly and spoke English. There are little quirks with Poland though(and not just Enterprise). Without a Polish driver's license they require full insurance coverage. That doubled the price of my rental. An international driver's license is also required. There was a 50 euro fee for cross-border travel, but this is pretty standard. Pickup was quick and easy. The cars are parked adjacent to the terminal and less than a five minute walk. For some reason I still had to have an inspection when I returned the van even though I had the full insurance. No issues or surprises after the return. I would rent from here again.

We picked up a car at the Enterprise Gdansk Airport on September 12 with a drop off in Prague on september 27. The guy who received us spoke excellent english and was very thorough with explanations and instructions. He gave us a hybrid car as we were driving long distances. The car was clean, worked extremely well and had a smooth ride. We were very happy. The guy that gave us the car outside, was also very thorough. At the drop off in prague, i was less pleased with our welcome. However, once we met with the gdansk employee who was driving the car back to Gdansk we were quite pleased. He thoroughly checked the car and was very pleasant to deal with. Overall, a very worthwhile experience. Thank you Gdansk

Pierwszy raz wypozyczalam samochód. I jestem bardzo zadowolona. Do Gdańska przylecielismy w nocy z godzinnym opóźnieniem. Nie byłam pewna czy ktoś będzie na nas czekal. Okazało się że czeka na nas przemiły Pan Lukasz. Wytłumaczył nam sprawę związana z ubezpieczeniem, paliwem I zwrotem samochodu. Samochód był czysty, pachnący i zatankowany do pełna. Zwrot samochodu banalnie prosty i szybki. Wrzuca się kluczyki do specjalnej skrzynki. Obsługa na wysokim poziomie , będziemy korzystać również w przyszłości. Pozdrawiamy pana Łukasza.

Uwaga. Mając kartę debetową byłem zmuszony wykupić ubezpieczenie samochodu, które kosztowało niemalże tyle samo, co wynajęcie auta około 120 euro. Sprzedawca poinformował mnie, że polityka firmy nie pozwala mu na zablokowanie środków na karcie debetowej, mimo to nie zachowuje konsekwencji i pobiera zabezpieczenie z karty debetowej na poczet paliwa i biletu parkingowego. Moim zdaniem jest to celowy zabieg, aby wymusić wykup ubezpieczenia. Sytuacja nie do pomyślenie u renomowanej konkurencji. Serdecznie nie polecam.

Long time i have not seen such a good customer service from ALAMO at Gdansk Airport. No queueing , all rental process was very smooth, all well explained. I did even receive a phone call prior to rental day just to check if all is good and if there is anything they can do - a courtesy you don't see much often nowadays. Clearly they do know how to win customer . Can't really comment on quality of car.. car is just a car - but a very clean car also. Will i hire it again from them ? - Yes.

Excellent service. We have used many different hire companies from Gdańsk airport. Enterprise are by far the best and highly recommended. There is no sales pressure to upgrade your car or to take out their insurance like other companies. You are properly handed over the car highlighting any scuffs/marks unlike other companies which unscrupulously will charge you for any marks which you wouldn’t have seen prior to hiring. That's the worst service ever. This third party serving Alamo and Enterprise in Gdansk (Poland) checks if you bought their insurance (29 Euros a day) , if you don't then they retaliate by charging you upon return for every small scratch that was there before. When you pick it up they will say it's a dirt, but when you return they charge you for that "dirt". The worst experience ever.

Me and my friends rented a car from Enterprise at Gdansk airport over the weekend. We were presented with excellent customer service in perfect english, a great car and at an affordable price. We needed assistance halfway through our journey. The staff made us feel very secure by answering immediately with a can-do attitude. If I ever need a car in Gdansk again, I know where to go.

Friendly and helpful hire car company, two young gentlemen helped me in early August 2021 collecting the car and the one on the desk was very helpful. I even phoned on a Saturday night to ask to add a driver to the policy, which they did very quickly and at a reasonable cost (unlike many rip-off hire car operators)

Do not use Alamo, National or Enterprise in Poland. They will scam you one way or another. They claimed the fuel gauge was faulty, not showing full when tank was full and charged me £27 when I returned it at same level. We caught them out as we filled up the day before and what do you know fuel gauge is FINE.
