It really saddens me to write this as I truly have loved my relationship with Enterptise for the last 5 years. But new managment has definitely brought unfavorable change reflective in far less customer dedication. Previously I was renting my vehicles from Adrian who was the prior manager at the location from which I rent in Los Angeles at this location. He was excellent with customer service, and made sure I received great rates due to my long standing track record of renting with Enterprise. I appreciated this, as most good companies do reward customer loyalalty. Recently, within the last couple of months the management shifted, now there is new manager by the name of Tawny that has assumed this location. The customer service has definitely taken a downgrade. My rates increased instantly. I was unhappy about this, so I reached out to the district mamager. In the past, it was a given that the longer I rented allowed me to be privy to a better rate. But not now. They hiked my rate to OVER $1000 a month, and charged my account. Upon speaking to the DM, he promised to reimburse me some money based on me having a long term rental but paying such an extremely high rate. He said he would do the numbers and call me back. However, he NEVER CONTACTED ME back as he promised. As I was waiting for several weeks to hear back from him, I was still in possession of the car. During the time in which I had the car in early October I drove to Vegas for my daughter's birthday. On the way back to Los Angeles the car broke down from mechanical issues near Barstow around 1am. I was forced to get a hotel room, and in the morning go to the nearest Enterprise to have them swap the car. Because of this inconvenience I missed a full day of work, as I was set to return that morning. And also incurred a hotel bill of $123.57. The branch manager who swapped the vehicle for me in Barstow assured me once I returned back to my home location, they would be willing to apply some reimbursements for my extra expenditures. She told me that if she had rented me the car, she would definitely do it, but customers have to make those sorts of adjustments with the location which initiated the contract. She said that all that she could do for me was upgrade the vehicle, but to definitely speak with my Los Angeles branch so that they could reimburse me for my troubles. When I returned to Los Angeles I was thrown into the gist of work and did not turn the car in exactly when I was supposed to. With Adrian, that was usually not a huge ordeal, because I had such a long standing record. So if I was traveling or something and missed the date, it was ok. He would simply adjust it. However, with the new manager Tawny, when the car was not returned on time, they red flagged it, and REPORTED IT STOLEN. Wow... I rent it faithfully for 5 years. This is how they treat me?...When I came in they kept the car, told me I was forbidden to rent with them anymore, applied no discounts for my being stranded in Barstow, and charged me the full rate for the upgrade I was given as a courtesy for my troubles in Barstow. Then to make matters worse, they accused me of damages on the car which I did not do, and some that weren't even visible to the eye, apparently on the roof. I had no idea what they were looking at. I could see no damage on the roof. At this point, it literally felt as though the team at this location was just bullying me. They were being very cold, unhelpful, and dismissive. They even seemed to be painfully clear that a new sheriff was in town...Its as though they seemed to have a personal issue doing business with me since Adrian has left. They constantly made slurs amidst my dissatisfactions, such as "Yeah well that's why Adrian's not here anymore. We do things different now." I found that to be very unprofessional, and frankly none of my business. This was nothing like the Enterprise experience I had come to know and love for many years. Very disappointed. Sadly, they only seem to care about their bottom line now, not customers.

Just had a terrible experience at this location. The Assistant manager was extremely rude to my aunt and I. He also treated customers who were also receiving help while we were in the waiting room very very rude. They tried to give her a huge truck, she is an older woman who can not drive a huge chevy traverse. She literally said "I don't feel comfortable in this huge car" As she asked a for smaller car, they barely cleaned it, and then wrecked it in the parking lot before we even got the car. After waiting almost 2 hours, he decided to deny us service and said we were being "disrespectful". No one disrespected him. We just raised concerns about giving us a dirty car and asked for it to cleaned, we are STILL in a pandemic. He was nasty to the customer before us, and nasty to us. He seemed extremely racist, rude, dismissive, and even other employees said he needs to "loosen up". He made customers AND employees feel uncomfortable. He antagonized us. And was very rude to us. And I honestly hate that I experienced that. He seemed so cold hearted and rude. That is not someone who should be in customer care. To treat elder women like that? A paying customer? After waiting almost 2 hours? He does not care about helping people and needs to be FIRED! He's the male manager that's right under Jennifer. Very negative energy. He had an attitude from the start!

Rented through Costco Canada for almost 10 days first time and everything went very smoothly with Jen, Johnny and return by Richard, even though the car that was supposed to be given to me which was VW Jetta and similar was actually Nissan Versa. However the experience was absolutely different when I extended my trip and booked again through Costco and got confirmed booking for two additional days from the same branch of Enterprise. An hour before going to pick up the car I called to let them know I will be there shortly the assistant manager tells me he has no car available for me and that he was going to call me. This is on 13th September 2022 so whoever the assistant manager was there( did not get his name). That he was going to call me to let me know. A booking that was done last night and for a car that was not available, should I not have been informed by them earlier. He blamed it on a glitch in the website that confirmed the booking. Even if I take that argument it was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL in his or his team to not make an attempt to inform me throughout the day. I have informed Costco about this and they have noted this rental agency. I will be coming to LA more often and would have rented from them because of Jen, Johnny and Richard but after this I will look for OTHER RELIABLE agencies.

I had a car reserved. When I arrived, there was one employee at the desk. He was busy with a customer whose issues were taking a while. There were other employees around, chatting with each other, not coming to the desk to check me in. After 15 minutes the guy at the desk checked me in. What he didn't do was send me to the car. Instead, it was another 20 minutes until he handed my case to one of the employees who had been chatting in the parking lot all the time. The car they gave me had a nearly empty gas tank. I had to fill up within the first half hour of driving. This is a disappointment. I do not recommend this Enterprise site. Update After I wrote the review above, I got an email from Enterprise asking for my contact info so they could make things right. I sent my info. No response. I also tried to call Enterprise in order to extend my rental. The recording at the location where I rented the car picked up and put me on hold. Then it connected me to a phone that rang for a while and then, I heard, "Goodbye." And I was disconnected. This happened four times. This Enterprise location does not seem to care about customer service. Calling on the phone didn't accomplish anything. I had to go to an Enterprise location to extend the rental. Naturally, I went to a different Enterprise location and got efficient service.

If I could give this place no stars I would. First thing is I had gotten an email confirmation Stating to pick a truck at 6:00 pm which I reserved a month ago. The day of I check to see what time they closed which was 6:00pm. I have to lyft there because they said they only pick customers up within two miles. Before I got picked up from my lyft driver I called to tell them I’d be a few minutes behind and representative told me it’s okay and they well see me when I get there. Because of LA traffic and me being misinformed I only had 5 mins to spare to get there so I called again to confirmation. I spoke to the assistant manager who told me they will not be able to wait 5 mins after because it’s Friday and nobody at the office wants to stay. I had a two vacation camping with the family depending on this vehicle and because of their lack of customer service I had to jump out the lyft, reserve another vehicle within an hour and run home to my car. Again this was from the assistant manager and he made sure that I knew his position. I had to pay an additional $120.00 to make another reservation. Because of this customer service I will never choose this branch!!!! Assistant Manager Darell thanks for the inconvenience because it’s friday and you don’t want to stay!!!

Well my trip started out great. I took a convenient shuttle to the closest Enterprise Location from LAX. However thats where the convenience ended. After arriving here I was arrived that my reservation was not valid at this location. That I would need to take an uber ( out of my own wallet ) to the La Brea Drive Location. So I do. Only to arrive there and be told my reservation was not valid at this location AS WELL! I was then told to take yet another uber out of my wallet ( this time costing nearly 20$ ), and go more than 20 miles down the road. After finally arriving at the third and final location to receive my car. The car was dirty. The seats had stains all over them. The overhead light did not work in the car ( and would often randomly turn on and refuse to turn off in the middle of the night ). The employees were rude, unhelpful, and cost me over 15$ in additional uber fares. I then had to drop the car back off at this location, more than 35 minutes from LAX on the day of our flights back home, and pay for YET ANOTHER 26$ uber to get to our flights. Our rental may have been cheap, but with over 50$ in ubers dealing with enterprise, there were better cheaper options. I will never rent from enterprise again!

It's an alright Enterprise. I wish they would mention online that a certain insurance was required by law when you book. Instead, you can book without that option and the price is significantly cheaper online than when you pick up the vehicle at the location. When I arrived, they gave us one of two cars in our category available. The car interior was filthy - the dirtiest rental car I've ever rented. Coffee stains on all the seats and console, sticky residue everywhere. It was not pleasant. I went back inside to see if we could switch cars, they non chalantly brought me to the next car which was even worse. It clearly didn't phase them since they didn't even bother to look inside either car when I told them. We ended up going back to the first car. Thankfully, we were asked about our experience when we returned the car, and when I mentioned the cleanliness being an issue, the attendant helping me offered a courtesy discount which I definitely appreciated. They also do pick ups and drop offs which is always nice.

Tawny is great but Daniel did some shady stuff when you sign the agreement. Make damn sure you read every little detail before you sign it and don't go off of anything that comes out of his mouth, that was my mistake for just listening to him. Next time allow the customer to check the boxes whether they want the PAI/PEC extra charge and the SLP extra charge, and ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE because the only one I wanted was the DAMAGE WAIVER one, which I clearly stated that I just wanted the DAMAGE WAIVER one. He did not show me his tablet while he was selecting all the options and he made it sound like that was all included with the damage waiver, I remember him saying included alot. The car had scratches and scrapes on it's right side which I pointed out and it had also smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, which I had also pointed out. I wanted to get out of there since the car was already waiting and I signed it without reading the essay of words, my mistake but never again. A lot of fake reviews on here too.

Needed a rental and my insurance was paying. They sent me to this location. I had $50 a day. They gave me a Kona( never heard of it but it’s small and junky) I see the windows are wet and they tell me the windows dry spot free. So already they are cheating and lying. After a day of this junky car with spots on the windows I call back to upgrade. I get a Nissan Rouge for the same price. Why didn’t they give me a decent car to begin with?!?!? Today I realized I left me city parking permit in the Kona. It hangs on the rear view mirror. I call and after 20 minutes of being on hold I call the main office and they, after 10 minutes are able to get me a person on the phone. I ask for the parking permit and they say that no one saw it. Tough luck. They don’t give a hoot. If they had given me a decent car to begin with instead of the tin can for $50 a day none of this would have happened. Terrible place! All the people there smile as they screw you

My girlfriend and I were in L.A. recently for a family wedding. We were super satisfied with our experience. The staff was sweet and sensitive to all of our needs. In particular, Raquel and Megan went out of their way to help us with some specific reservation issues, and we were grateful for their understanding and kindness. Basically having struck out at all other locations - it was a busy Easter weekend - we lucked out finding this reasonable Honda rental. The car was in excellent working condition BUT the superior customer service is what made all the difference. We had debated whether or not to get a rental in the first place. After considering all the options - Uber - we were grateful to be able to navigate our way around Los Angeles with this affordable rental. We really appreciate it!

I recently had a great experience with this office. From the moment I arrived at their rental location, the staff was friendly and professional. They quickly processed my reservation and had me on my way in no time. The car I rented was clean, well-maintained, and exactly what I needed for my trip. Throughout my rental period, the car performed flawlessly and I had no issues whatsoever. When I returned the car, the staff was once again friendly and efficient. They quickly checked the vehicle and processed my return, making the process easy and hassle-free. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience renting from Enterprise. Their excellent customer service and high-quality vehicles made my trip a success, and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Initially I wasn't going to review this place cause it's a rent a car business. What's the most that could be said about it? If you have a license and a credit card they will rent you a car. Most of the times people in these type of places act a certain way I'm pretty sure this is the way they were trained. But everyone there is pretty cool. The one thing I can complain about is the prices but that's with all rent a car business's. They say it's $22.00 a day for a rental and when they finish adding taxes fees and Insurance that $22 looks more like $52 "Crazy" But overall it's convenient and they will pick you up and drop you off A+ for that, 4 stars cause no rewards program If someone rents 6 times give them a discount. Hope this helps someone and happy renting!

My wife and I had just gotten back to the US from the Philippines and needed a rental to get to our home in SD but our reservation was denied by the LAX Enterprise because “you can’t use a debit card to book if you’re dropping the car off in a city you are a local resident of.” Even if you have a return flight ticket like their policy says. I started calling around and Larry at the La Brea Enterprise really hooked us up. We would have been stuck in Los Angeles overnight if Larry and his team didn’t come through at their Enterprise. Skip the airport location and definitely go to this independent branch for quality service.

Friendly staff/bad communication I rented an SUV and it ended up being a longer term rental as my car broke down. I needed to go into the office to “resign a new contract”. Fine. Inconvenient but I did keep the car a lot longer than I anticipated. Once I had re-signed and asked why my rate was quite a bit more per day, the employee informed me that I should have turned the car in and started a new contract because THEN I would have gotten a better rate! “Yeah, you should have been told that”. Excuse me? Already tired after work, spending longer than I wanted at Enterprise, I left. Won’t rent from them again.

The young representatives at Enteprise are great! The real problem is the lack of vehicles, which can be a problem for the guest. A majority of the time the car I sign up for is not available, but if I want to wait while it comes from the other center I could happily wait. Well, time is money but the cost is always passed on to me because I can't wait!!! So basically now I have over extended my budget. When actually I should not be charged extra due to the lack of goods. So that should be worked on or accomodate the guest monetarily, which doesn't seem to happen.

I was picked up on time, the rep that picked me up was super nice and told me about the area, (I'm new in town) and the driver that took me home was a wonderful conversationalist. I was in and out in minutes both pick up and drop off and the guy that checked me in did his best to find me the best price and the nicest vehicle. The car itself was clean and well maintained. I'd seriously consider a Kia for my next car based off the abuse I put this small SUV through. I will definitely rent from this location again.

Friendly staff they helped me in every way possible. Out of state resident visiting my family and I needed to rent a car while I was there to get around. They didn't have anymore compact cars so instead they gave me something even better to drive and only charged me the rate for a compact car instead of charging me more. Everything was an easy process and both gentlemen that helped me were very polite. My mom recommended I go to this location since shes rented cars from them in the past. Glad I did. Thank you!!!

This review is for Oscar, Nish, and the female staff with large, black rimmed glasses (Im sorry, I didnt catch her name). These 3 made the rental process for pickup and return very easy. Very very nice people, which made customer service 10/10. I would recommend this location outside of LAX. Prices offered are reasonable compared to other enterprises near LAX and only a 30 min Uber ride to airport if you want to save a couple hundred dollars on a rented car. I come here again for renting a car on my next visit.

By far, the best customer service experience I have had from any rental car company. Everyone is super nice. Dorion, Matt and the nice lady who's name I can never catch are especially the sweetest, most kind agents! And they take great precaution with the cleaning and sanitizing of their fleet in the surreal times of COVID-19. My first time renting with Enterprise, I needed to extend the time to clear out my my belongings at my job and it went over smoothly. I'll be back again and again and again!

My overall experience was great. When I picked up the rental Oscar was very busy but managed to acknowledge us and inform us that he would be right with us and communicating with me until I was my turn. Oscar was great. This was the easiest, fastest, most pleasant experience. I came in first thing Monday morning w/out a reservation; Robert was friendly and professional and had me out of there in no time. The return was just as quick and easy (sorry, I don't remember who checked me out) but he was just as friendly and professional. Adam drove me back to the dealership.. another friendly and professional team member. The folks at BH BMW could take a few lessons from these guys.

I used to rent from some hole-in-the-wall death mobile shady car rental places when I didn't have a credit card. Such a step up when you finally become a productive citizen with credit and can rent from a national chain like Enterprise. Love their weekend specials and this location knows me well enough that they sometimes give me special deals & upgrades if there isn't enough business going on and they still have a bit of inventory just sitting there.

The service here is generally really good and the staff is nice and accommodating. The only issue you I have is with the availability of cars that I selected to rent. Sometimes I would be given an alternative that consumes more gas than the vehicle I want. Also, the cars often time are not ready when you get there -- once you rent they'll have to vacuum and wash, so you'll have to wait awhile until that's done. Aside from that, I recommend this place.

Can't beat their $9/day weekend specials. They need to fix the reservation system so if you need a pickup, you can get that reserved at the same time you reserve a car. I wasn't told by the representative that a pickup had to be called in on the day of your reservation and I waited for 20 min before I called in to check and found out that you can't reserve a pickup the same day you make a reservation. Other than that no issues with Enterprise.

I had the best experience at this Enterprise location that I have ever had. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. What I appreciated most is that they did not try to nickel and dime me and upcharge me for everything possible - I have had this experience at other car rental companies and even other Enterprise locations. Excellent customer service from the manager Adrian! Adrian made sure that my drop off to LAX was seamless as possible, as I was in a rush to drop off at this location before catching a flight. He even called the next day after I dropped off to make sure everything went well. The next time I return to LA, I will definitely rent from this Enterprise location. I rented a care and was not offered the upgrade that enterprise was advertising. I called in to request it but they gave me an excuse why I could not have it. I thought is was shameful to treat a enterprise member like that. Net time I will look at other rental car companies to do business with since they don’t give their membership customers the discounts they advertise are available.

I am amazed on the promptness and speed of the current car rental process with Enterprise. In less than 5 minutes I drove off with a car and returning it takes the same amount of time. So fast! Someone here set a good example of what a customer needs and how to fulfill its need. Enterprise nailed it. Big time! I used the services of the location in Los Angeles (1234 S La Brea Avenue).

I have used this Enterprise location for several years now. They are all very professional, courteous and try their best to get you in and out as quick as possible. I really like that they will pick you up and take you home. That is a great feature that Enterprise has to offer. I usually rent when they have the weekend special. You can't beat the $9.99 per day for Friday to Monday.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Do not go here! The manager called me non-stop asking me to call the insurance company to get them paid. Then they charged my card for unauthorized charges without even notifying me. My car was returned on-time, to the body shop I used, and they still charged me. Then they never answered my calls, hung up on me, and never called me back. AVOID THIS PLACE!

The best sround! Family owned, and they only hire college grads to work there. Many college grads start there to make some money...but if their "dream job" doesn't come through, they start working their way into management......and more compensation, than possible in their degree jobs! Very charming, intelligent customer service. I have only rented from Enterprise since 1980!

Under Covid-19 constraints but overall service was of it's same standards and quality. Received a vehicle in a timely manner under 30 minutes. Recently rented a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander for 4 days and it was an enjoyable ride, almost didn't want to get my car out of the shop. Always a pleasure dealing with the associates who assisted me in picking up or returning the car?

Had to rent a car one way from LA to Dallas on 12/28 due to SWA flight cancellation. Enterprise - Wilshire staff were very professional and courteous. They had a clean well functioning car ready for me when arrived for pick up. Had no issues with the car during the entire 1500 mile drive to Dallas. Got the same professional service when I turned the car in at Love Field.

Worst possible service right from the outset. Worst customer service experience I've had from any company including Time Warner! Essentially, none of the employees - from the phone reservations operator to my encounter at the time of pick up - actually listened to anything I needed which made late for my son's wedding. So yeah I'm pretty sure they've lost my business

My insurance set up this reservation for me. From start to finish everyone was professional and friendly. My rental was thoroughly Covid cleaned and Felix made sure I was checked in and out as quickly as possible. He even drove me across the street to pick up my own car when it was ready! Holiday travel is already stressful, but the staff at Enterprise were, again, courteous and helpful . . . unlike the people I have encountered at the corporate level in trying to resolve a recent dispute (so far STILL unresolved). It's too bad that the great experience I have with local agents is NOT reflected by the customer service operation higher up!

They always washed my car whenever I extended my lease and were very accommodating when I requested to exchange my car. The team at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car are incredibly nice and efficient. Valet parker damaged my car. Was told by enterprise rep to pay $500 deductible and they would pursue the valet management. They lost the paperwork given to me by the valet company accepting liability. Had enterprise collections call me and try to bully me on the phone. Employees need to be re trained or re staffed. This company deserves no stars

Love there service. I had the car for 2 weeks while my car was at the auto shop. I got picked up by one of the employees and I also got dropped off when it was time to pick up my car. Car that I rented was a Kia optima it was the perfect car for the kids and I. I had no issues while using the car at all. Thanks for the awesome service.

I frequently use Enterprise oh, but the staff here at the Labrea location was absolutely wonderful! I just happened to see a Mini Cooper as I was pulling in and inquired about it for my rental. They made my transaction quick and easy and got me in the car that I wanted!!! Usually renting a car is all business but not here!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The lady “in charge” Rabecca has no idea what she’s doing. I was suppose to get refunded 200 dollars; it’s been 30 days. Nothing has been returned and she says there is nothing she can do. Will never rent from here again, I would recommend to not as well to save you from this madness.

I was quoted a price and confimed it with the agent. When I returned the vehicle I was informed the total was twice as much as I was quoted. When I questioned the fees I was shown all these fees i was unaware off. I don't mind paying for services I just hate to be lied to. Classic case of bait and switch. Never again

Worst experience ever, Jenny was being super rude and uncooperative. Even with Amex platinum rental insurance and my own rental insurance to supplement she denied our rental because they don’t accept Amex or statefarm anymore. Did not offer any type of solution and just gave attitude during the whole experience.

When asked what kind of car I would like, I answered: "One that doesn't smell." It smelled. I also asked if it was santized and was told that it was. When I wiped down the steering wheel and gear shift, it was clear it hadn't been wiped because it was filthy.

They require Credit card to register. Can't do with Debit or Cash. That was inconvenient. And even though they show office starting time at 9, they said they can give the car by 07:30 am at the earliest, which was good.
